Rose and The Doctor actually had a small moment where he revealed he was a father. They were discussing the child trapping people in their drawings. The Doctor was arguing sympathy while Rose was more hostile. Rose: “Easy for you to say, you don’t have kids.” The Doctor: “I was a Dad once.” Rose: “What did you say?” *looking shocked/slightly saddened* Then the Doctor continues on. Yeah he never wanted to have the conversation he had in this episode with Donna.

Such a fun episode for so many reasons - one being that Jenny’s actress, Georgia Moffat is the daughter of the 5th Doctor and David Tennants favourite 😁 The one from the Time Crash special before the titanic ep! And they then went on to get married, so the Doctor’s daughter is now his wife 😂 Georgia Tennant! They have a bunch of kids and they’re a v cute couple

The Doctor's Daughter is a wild episode. I've seen the trope here a few times where there's a war people think has been happening forever but it actually hasn't. It's a really neat twist & I'm always happy when I see it happen. Adding The Doctor into the mix with all his complicated emotions about war. Then adding a clone daughter of him on top of all that is another great wrinkle.

This episode shows how different the relationship between Martha and the Doctor and Donna and the Doctor. Martha will always be a companion the Doctor appreciated but never fully connected with. Donna on the other hand is forming a more life-long bond with the Doctor - a best friend type bond. Rose is more a love interest for the Doctor - a lost love.
