You have the religion of Rose Tyler, and now I can finally talk about my religion of River Song! My favorite character in the whole show, next to the Doctor. These episodes rank among the absolute best of the entire show as well, so it feels awesome to see how much you enjoyed them!

I don't even have anything to say........ except that: the song that you hear throughout the episode is called Bad Wolf, it is the same song we hear in the namesake episode in which Rose turns into Bad Wolf, and lots of other important moments since then, you can clock it during the whole show. I absolutely love it, this soundtrack is one of my favorites!

Zero spoiler hype…. Just remember, Stephen Moffat who wrote blink, silence in the library… and “are you my mummy?” … becomes show runner in series 5. Also, Alex Kingston is brilliant in this episode knowing only whats in the script….and she sells the lines with such conviction and emotion. “You and me. Time and space. You watch us run!”. …thinking about it… thats a great tag line for a Doctor Who reaction series. Know any reactors? :-p

95% of my favourite episodes are Stephen Moffat episodes. His writing wrecks me but very few things wreck me more than Alex Kingston as River Song. What an introduction to our girl! So pleased you loved this two parter. Not that there was ever any doubt! 💕

Alex Kingston as River Song is truly a character of all time. Her speech to the Doctor at the end always makes me cry dude, the pain in her voice when she talks to him, recounting memories that we haven’t seen with such passion that you believe she’s known him for years, it’s unbelievable 😭 Imagine the first introduction of your character also being your death… she’s unreal Her realisation in that moment “this means you’ve always known.” literally makes me start bawling 😭 and trying to comfort him saying “its okay, it’s not over for you. You’ve got all that to come.” through tears ITS OVERRRR THIS IS REAL STORYTELLINGGGGG I will say, if I die please don’t trap me in a digital world with my coworkers for eternity maybe
