Nice beefy episode. Lots in there. I think the unaired pilot was the better pilot.

I'm just starting the episode, but i think I can say this: Darcie, this is a great point for you to rewatch (at least by yourself) the epitaph part 1 [S01E13] I have said this already but I'm a big advocat of watching it by the end of season 01, I believe that it enriches your s02 experience. But this is the point where people who disagree with me tends to watch that episode. It's a good placement too... if you can, you definitely should do a little bit of a rewatch before the next one (I always do).

I have to say it... although I do enjoy the Boyd twist at the end of last episode, I don't feel very comfortable with the way they chose to portray him afterwards, this is what makes it feel like a retcon, the way he changes and becomes a little bit... i don't know, silly...? it feels strange with that being said.... I also hate Paul.

It's truly astonishing how good Enver Gjokaj is at becoming Topher.

I think you're was saying you want to watch the season one finale on the channel after watching the season two finale? I can see why you'd want to do that. Maybe it would be better to watch the season one finale again then season two?

I like how when Priya is in Topher's labs space while Topher is freaking out. Meanwhile I'm wondering, "where did Anthony go? Why are we not leaving? Where is he so we can leave?" That's how fricken amazing Enver is at playing Topher. I forgot he IS Topher! I greatly appreciate how you're appreciating this show for what it is. So many people criticize it for valid reasons, but it's more than the formulaic episodes. It makes people use critical thinking, it asks massive questions that I think more people need to consider. It has the protagonists celebrating saving the world only to cut to ten years later... Which if someone hadn't seen 1x13 yet would've been a huge shock. As has been mentioned, in my rewatches, this is where I'd watch 1x13. I prefer it that way. I think it'd be interesting to watch you do the season 2 finale then 1x13, though it could cause confusion. However, you are very good at remembering things, so I believe in you! I'm always so impressed with your memory and your predictions. I just love it so much and I don't want it to be over, but it's okay that it it's almost over. It's been very nice enjoying it as if it's the first time all over again. 😊 Thanks for that.

I would personally highly recommend that you rewatch the season 1 finale before watching the season 2 finale. They fit together. As for this episode, incredible way to wrap up the “current timeline” portion of the show. It has everything you would want in an hour of this show where everything built up to this moment. So much comes back around. There’s great action, cool twists, heartbreak (poor Mellie), and triumph (at least for now). A+ TV
