The video is glitching out for me, around the 8:30 mark it starts stuttering and then by 9:24 the video just ends

Michael Jones

Regarding skipping the rewind: He said he'd skip the rewind because if he went any further back, he'd be David Tennant. Litte behind the scenes things: Story of The Fez: "Steven mentioned the fez to Piers and I before he even wrote it. He said, "I'm thinking of putting Matt in a fez in episode 13." And of course both Piers' and my jaws hit the floor and went "A fez? You're kidding me, you're going to put Matt in a fez? If we put Matt in a fez, Matt will never take the fez off. He will want to wear the fez for the whole of the next series. It will be glued to his head. He'll be wearing it, you know with his own clothes. It will be a nightmare." And he said, "No no, I've got a cunning plan; as soon as he's got the fez I'm going to kill the fez.'" - Beth Willis, Doctor Who producer The dancing: Matt Smith improvised the terrible dancing the Doctor did at the wedding. He called it "the Drunk Giraffe".

The file might be corrupted. Seems to hiccup at the 9-minute mark, and then it reverts to start. Tried it on my computer, and my phone, and it did the same thing on each, though I did get it to play a little longer on my phone. I'm going to try again later, because it really is a banger of an ep.

the scene where Aunt Sharon, the Psychiatrist and Amelia are all looking up and there were no stars... it mirrors the scene with Vincent in which he describes all that he can see in the night sky it never occurred to me before, when Amelia is missing in the Museum... i always wondered why did everybody just left when there was a child missing? where are the reporters and police officers etc?? i just now got that they actually stop existing........ rory survived for 2k years, so actually, he is now older than the doctor

New link seems to be good! Thanks <3

James B.

That did the trick. Thanks.

Michael Fallon

Fantastic end to the series - yes, I agree series 5 is different and perhaps more creative. We go into series 6 with unanswered questions: who's River Song, who blew up the Tardis and most importantly will the Doctor get a new fez?

DSJ.

Steven Moffat deliberately wrote a happy ending for this season, since every previous season had ended sadly - Nine regenerating, Rose 'dying', Martha leaving, Donna... ;(((, and if we count the specials as a season, Ten regenerating. So this is the first happy ending to a season :)

James Miller

Still not working for me. Freezes around 9 minutes, audio continues but video doesn't.

James Miller

Sorry, didn't see the new link. I'll try that.

I love this finale SO MUCH. I am a _hopeless_ romantic, and a lover of fairy tales, and this episode hits both of those things absolutely perfectly. Rory, guarding over Amy in the Pandorica for 2000 years, building the legend of the lone centurion... omg, how wonderful! And we finally get the wedding and it's not some crazy disaster - it's perfect! Yeah, that was such a fun re-watch I can't even tell you.

Tuckgrr

Ah I see the issue I'm running into has been reported 😅

AppEyes

So I wrote down a quote from your reaction to the weeping angel story earlier this season. "I like the outfit without the coat" - you said, just after the scene where the other Doctor is talking to Amy while wearing it. People at the time were on forums calling it a continuity error, but Moffat had the last laugh.

Harriet Loughnan

Loved! It was indeed a fun, chaotic season. My brother-in-law, back when they were just dating, planned this fun nerdy surprise for my sister's birthday. He had several clues that ended up as the "something old, something new..." which made my sister assume he was going to propose. Turns out he had bought her a sonic screwdriver - he had never heard that poem before and just thought it was something written specifically for the Tardis and this episode. A slightly confusing time for everyone.

Fezzes are cool

Andrew Nicholson

I think Elevens run with the Ponds is the best era of the show. Glad you enjoyed it….and speaking of memories, can you remember what I said a few episodes ago when you mentioned wedding season?

Lais

i think maybe the second question is a bit spoilery...

Rae

River Song, my beloved!

Michael Fallon

I'm only repeating the same question the Doctor said at the end of the episode.

SunnydaleClassof99

The time travel shenanigans in this episode are out of control. They do such an amazing job tying everything together. Besides the plot complexities it's just a beautiful episode with a earned happy ending. Years 1-4 I know back through forwards. These I've seen a lot but not as much so it's great getting to experience them once again with you.

Michael Fallon

But when the Big Bang 2 happened they all went back to there own times. Rory is no longer an Auton, but they have the memories after Amelia remembered the Doctor. So Rory isn't 2000 years old in the age sense, but he does remember.

Michael Fallon

I do, however, agree to some extent so I have edited it.

Daniel McGuinness

The “Something old, something new, something borrowed… something blue.” line was actually amazing, I forgot all about that 😭

darcieswatchingbuffy

OMG!! i love this, when well thought out moments like that are pulled off? perfection!

Andrew Nicholson

(Sinister laugh.)…Go back & check out the comments for episode 11 (5e11). But be warned , I am an evil and wicked man.
