It's a shame you see such different audiences for the two shows... they're both very good in their own way. I've been loving Orphan Black, and I'm definitely more of a sci-fi/fantasy/action fan, but I'm still here after 2 full seasons of GG because it's a fun, well-written, entertaining show.

We back! I'm so excited for more Gilmore Girls! Orphan Black is a fantastic show with mind-bending writing and unheard of levels of acting, but Gilmore Girls is comfort food for me. I do love rewatching both with you though. It's like comparing apples to oranges though, ya know? But they're both tasty fruit so I'm happy to indulge in either

Yeah I love both. It seems like maybe she'll have to alternate throughout the season to keep people subscribed. It is what it is I guess 🤷‍♀️

totally! im not sure how to balance it all - we knew wednesdays were going to be a bit of an experiment with the two shows just hard for me to plan out finances etc when subs jump up and down! still dunno what to do lmao but im glad to have some that enjoy both!!

Lorelai reading Rory the riot act about Dean is interesting. She just doesn't judge Rory for her spur the moment action, just that she hasn't come to a decision about what to do in the meantime. Richard & Emily's reaction is fairly predictable. Not only does Lorelai get judged for what happened recently, they also rehash what happened when she got pregnant for the 273, 450 time.

Oh girl, I feel your sense of betrayal about the start of the season, lol. "I missed this place!". I have Gilmore Girls on repeat all the time, and still miss that place! :) So excited you started again. I missed your commentary!

Yay! I've been checking back to see if you were starting Season 3 soon, so while I'm a little late to the party I am SO excited for you to continue on with this show! This episode is such a banger — the Rory and Jess (and Dean) drama is A+, and on the other end of the spectrum Paris preparing for her date is such an endearing scene. Also shoutout Zagat guide for those who remember, what a time haha. Also yes they torture and tease you with that intro 😂
