Darccciiieeee. Now go rewatch Buffy 3x10 :)

I always loved this episode. it's so good. Anya and Xander's good cop/bad cop routine, The First/Warren/Johnathan and Andrew, Willow and Andrew, Xander's trigger theory, every second with Spike, and the Watcher's Council going boom. Not to mention the fight near the end with the First's Harbingers (that's what The First/Buffy called them, and you've heard that name, too, Darcie), and the really cool move Dawn does when she's fighting one of the Harbingers and throws him against a wall. For me, Conversations with Dead People (7x07) is where this season really ramps up. That one, 7x08, and this one, are a wonderful run of greatness. I agree with @x_Rhi_x, go watch episode 3x10 again. Oh, and then, Darcie, hey, you wanna do something fun? After you see 3x10 the second time, rewatch the final scene of 7x01. It hits completely differently when you know.

"Who the F is he? The kool-aid man?" So happy you even know who the kool-aid man is :) He's from my generation. OH YEAHHHHH!!! ROFL

Now that you know we are dealing with The First, you can back and rewatch season 3 episode Amends. The first can only appear to you as someone who has died. In Amends, the first appears to Angel as multiple people that Angel killed in his past including Jenny Calendar trying to convince Angel to kill himself.

This episode is so hilarious we nearly forget we don't know if Rupert is alive or dead! O_O Andrew is a goldmine of comedy here. "You'll get nothing out of me, Carpenter!" "I fell in love with a beautiful vampire girl down in Mexico and now we’re trying to make a go of it on the straight and narrow and put our lives back together here in Sunnydale.” " I'd like 12 pork chops, 2 pounds of sausage, 8 quarts of pigs blood 3 steaks, um, halibut, and, uh, some toothpaste?" And Dawn's pure joy in telling about Buffy being sick in great detail. Ha ha! Also, the watchers are so stupid. They basically acted out a Final Destination movie. Don't they know better than to say you are the master of your own fate?! Final Destination had already come out by then, they should have know better. Silly Travers. I just love Buffy so much. Thank you for doing these reactions. <3 It's really been so great.

After what happened to the school mascot in "The Pack", I was relieved to see the pig get away in this one.

No kidding, Darcie- nothing beats a Buffy pep talk. The basement scene gets better every time I see it and that moment where Spike lunges at Buffy and says "Window dressing"... and she doesn't even flinch. Beautiful. You're right, Buffy does appear more grown up this season. I'd say that is no accident. There is the school of thought that the entire series is a metaphor for growing up and reaching adulthood, that every demon and supernatural challenge Buffy encounters is a metaphor for the challenges we all face on our way to adulthood. Seeing as this is the final season, it makes sense that Buffy would be reaching the end of that journey.

When Xander was talking about the trigger, I thought it was a nod to the Halloween episode when he "became" a soldier. That would have been a nice throwback!

I'm catching up with these late, and just burst out laughing because The First literally refers to Andrew as "What's His Name" at 41:16 in your video. The running joke that nobody knows who Andrew is, even The First who knows so much and who has been actively manipulating Andrew for months, is so damn funny to me...
