We’re looking for volunteers! (Patreon)

A lot of work goes into every animation here at Balena Productions, but without the help of our amazing team of volunteers they wouldn’t exist! We’re looking for a few more volunteers to join the team! We use Blender, so Blender experience is required. We’re looking for volunteers who enjoy working with a team, will get tasks finished in a reasonable time, and are good at communication. We prefer if you have a Discord so you can communicate with the team directly. If you’re up for volunteering, we could use your help if you are skilled in:-Rigging. Our models need the ability to come to life! We have quite a few models that need rigging. We’re looking for anyone at least moderately skilled in rigging and especially rigs with animation in mind. We’re looking for rigs that can make characters expressive, have good weight painting, IK abilities, and anything extra that can make characters as animated as they can be.-Environments. We need places for our characters to exist in! We’re looking for environmental artists who can create custom staging areas, landscapes, buildings/houses, forests, and so on!-FX/Particles. Fire, Water, Smoke, Clouds, and other FX are needed! We also need specific FX for things like speed trails, magic FX, and more. -Texture artists. We’re looking to make our models look as good as they can! Custom normal maps/bump maps are always a great addition to any model! We’re looking for someone skilled in texture nodes. We’d like to give our characters a bit more polish in the texture department.-Secondary animators. We have a lot of background characters that could use walk cycles, idle animations, and more! Any knowledge of crowd addons would be most welcome!-Blender Knowledge.
