It's June! (Patreon)

Welcome to June! Time for an update!

Things are still moving very slow on "Sonic in Scared Stupid: The Final Chapter", but I am happy to share the news that I was able to recruit a few volunteers to help ease the burden! We're still hovering around 40% funded, and hopefully that holds. I would hope that you will all continue to hold your pledges as we get through these hard times. YouTube is still hurting the channel, views are low, revenue is even lower, and overall it feels very empty, but I assure you my resolve is still strong. I still intend to finish the movie, even if it takes a long time to do so. Just remember, at 50% we'll go back to having monthly private calls here on Discord for Silver & Gold members. If you are feeling generous, consider raising your pledge or upgrading! It helps a lot!

We're currently finishing a re-rigging of Sonic, and then Mel will be re-rigged with her new proportions. We've got some help now so hopefully things will pick up a bit. I also finally upgraded my GPU after months of patiently waiting, and it is a HUGE improvement. It renders around 6x as fast as my old GPU. What would once take around 6 minutes per frame for a heavy scene, is down to 1 minute. We're going to be working on more models soon as well, and I'm excited to show you all when we do!

Things are still going to be a bit slow for the time being, but hopefully things will improve with time. I will say, I have a special short animation planned for when Mel is re-rigged. It will be very fun!

Don't forget as well that I will be streaming on Twitch on June 7th at 3PM Pacific / 6PM Eastern. I'd love to have more Patrons in the chat to hopefully inspire more viewers to join the Patreon!
