The Dokapon Video - Art (Patreon)

In 2023 Vixen, Aloha, and I played a game called "Dokapon Kingdom".

The idea of this game is great. But its actual design is so bad that I became... obsessed with it, spending 500+ hours studying, researching, and gathering footage to make into a giant video in the vein of "Let's Make a Pokemon Game" and "Let's Make an Animal Crossing Game."

The video has sat unfinished for ages, knocked to the side by my international move.

It would take 4+ months of work to finish, and that's time I'd rather be spending on Epithet. So it shall forever remain incomplete.

However! I'm putting up the entire video as it currently on Patreon, just for you. That's 50 minutes of fully animated, blocked-out video essay and another full hour of audio.

I got a bunch of art commissioned by Juliana Chen (the same artist from the "Let's Make a..." series) which you can see in its full glory above. I've also included some of the big, stupid graphs I made here. Not all of them though because a lot of them only exist as scattered After Effects documents.
