Dancer Redux (Patreon)

Last month I spent quite a lot of character modelling. I have recently finished work that took me about 3 months, so to celebrate I went and did another one of my OCs again. The first design I actually made about last year but I wasn't very happy with it and felt I could push it even further more wild design wise since I love my Zone Of Entropy girls. Zone Of Entropy is a faction made up entirely of ridiculous hyper militaristic religious zealots from space who are all robot girls. They are very alien from humanity but are obsessed with their culture. Think of like space mongols that go around invading places and conquering them. Dancer is just a generic enemy design, there are several different units types of ZOE, shes the close quarters melee specialist who rushes down and does insane damage and combos up close who struggles with range. One of the things about ZOE is that they don't have a concept of nudity or shame. They go well I have these beautiful mechanical bodies might as well show them off. They are not quite used to being in humanoid bodies so they can be quite touchy feely with one another sometimes out of general curiosity. I like using nipple piercings as intricate jewelry, so I have a bunch of crap hanging off her bar piercings attached with gold chains and stuff, including ankhas and incense burners. Anyway I love dancer shes kinda of an idiot who is suppose to run headfirst into danger to immediately become the biggest problem in the room. She and the Wraith sniper enemy are kinda of an item together hehe. The thing about rushing at tanks with swords is completely literal btw, shes probably about 800 kg in wieght shes an android android. Stupid sexy space robots drop from orbit and land on their feet. I wanna do some cool action set piece animation with my ZOE girls, I am amassing quite a bit of them and im excited to do stuff that isnt just more private work. This model I actually originally created from copying the wraith one so thats why they are in the same blend file. Of course im releasing it as it is, but I spent a lot of time fixing some stuff so both Dancer and Wraith are more easy to manage. At first they shared the same skeleton which lead to odd things like Dancer's face not being just quite right. This also means I rigged a lot of Dancer's dumb jangling crap so it stops clipping everywhere. Its a bit of a pain but ehh I am happy with it. Her design is inspired by a lot of egyptian and japanese elements, you know as much as a titty ninja from space can be. Wraith is one of my favorite designs so its nice to have one that pair off as well to her. I tried to make sure shes not just a color swap. Very excited to do more of these. Maybe one day my designs will be playable in motion.Blend Files included Below.
