Miss Rachel, one of MCW’s finest. She was a bright eye force of passion school teacher who started at 22 years old. A lifetime of grime and hardship didn't stop her working through sunless days, climbing up the slums and be able to help as many people as possible. Seven years later her dream slammed down the deck in MegaCityWest. The education system is a decaying memory, overworked and understaffed. She can only do so much. They drown her up to her nose in grading papers, suffocating classrooms of 150 students packed like sardines, and every single insufferable entitled parent rich enough to actually send their kids to school decided the best thing to do was to make her life their problem. Tell me, you begin to wonder: What am I doing here? You did all the little right things, dealt with people’s endless amount of trite bullshit at every opportunity like you were supposed to. And all for what? The world was using her as a steam valve to let out pressure, waiting for the day she falls between the cracks and another faceless cog steps in to replace her.

You know what you do? You do what every reasonable person does and quit their job, steal a bike, and sign up for the violent illegal bloodsport of underground racing circuit AIRFRAME ULTRA. This is the complete dead end of society. Where the city’s poor and desperate get paid to kill each other across illegal broadcast bands being watched from those above, the untouchable for their entertainment. Here comes the gutterborn, the last stop of living deadmen. But you know what? Fuck all that. Nobody else in the city understands how it feels to climb on your machine. It's the taste of wind to someone who grew up in a starless night. Screams of fans as they watch you soar over concrete cliffs. Put your mother on speed dial. Wrap up those arms. Take your brother’s dirtbike down the highway to fight the cops. You are as ready as anyone else is ever gonna be. Why risk it all? Its something only she can see. The force of a spring that has been wound across her entire life. A soul of a kind and gentle woman blazing against the steel of the world. Whatever it is, maybe it's the smell of JP5 and diesel fumes. The sound of plastic shotgun shells bouncing across the floor. Bare skin stinging and torn fresh from sliding on asphalt with bruised ribs. Forget student parent conference calls and accelerated learning courses, you join AIRFRAME ULTRA because something in the roads and shanty towns, the storm drains and the piles of burning trash, out there something is real, and there's nothing more real than whipping a chain around someone’s throat.

Between heartwarming high school dropouts and their old teach kicking them in the face, Rachel is is a bright glowing red target waiting to be knocked into incoming traffic. Her small stature is made up however by being filled with overwhelming desire for violence. Orange Springs’s Math teacher Miss Rachel is a tiny ball of fury and sharp sticks. She might not be the fastest racer on the road. Or the flashiest, or the most lethal. But she will pick herself back up where others will fall, and get back on an airframe no matter how many times she slams against the wall. Most often, her risky plays don't pay off. But what about it would matter if they do. She's anywhere between soaring heights and shocking lows on a given day. It's surprising she isn’t dead by now. The few podiums she stood on will make sure she will come back for more.

Hi everyone! If you have kept with my socials you have known I am all about the AIRFRAME ULTRA lately. I havent model the bike yet but I made my racer girl along with her dumb backstory lol. Figures if I spent so much work making her model I make a cute little animation too eh? This animation is about 2 minutes long so its the longer side. I havent done longer form animations in a while, just loops, so I made this to break the habit. Rachel is pretty cute if I so say so myself. Airframe ultra is releasing on the 5th of November so it been in my mind a lot. I forgot to add lipsyncing in the actual latter half of the animation and I dont want to render all that again so uhhh forgive me. I am not very used to character acting and speaking all that much and I wanted to do a little thing to get out of my animation rut. I hope all of you enjoy and sorry for being so long without posts.
