Damn, happy birthday to this lucky (also brown-haired/brown-eyed, lol) commissioner! The light reflecting off the camera lens is really well done (especially how it's sharp at first but softer in the last panel, like it represents how James is sated and in a warmer, calmer mood), not to mention the super cool detail of the text bubble covering James's eye in the first frame and the lens in the second frame almost like it's "substituting" for it.* It's not only the expressions themselves that are so... well, expressive, haha, but their body positions (like her having her toes curled up in the sheet when she's nervous, James spreading her open with his thumb and how he's positioned over her generally before they start things up showing how eager and... pretty horny he is, lmao). Their anatomical details are also really nice, I especially like how her hair is splayed out when James is (I assume, lol) going down on her, and everything you can see from behind on the third page has pretty spot on detail... is it weird to say that I think the detail and shadows on James's taint and balls are really well done? 🤦‍♀️ Plus the general contouring of their skin (and the sheets, though I've mentioned how much I love how you tackle fabrics before) is awesome. That and the shadow placement really round the whole thing out. I'm also a sucker for film grain in almost every context, so. *And of course James would suggest making a tape... we all know how he loves tapes 😝 (I actually think that's a really endearing thing that Mary intimates about him - that instead of photos, he's so attached to his camcorder and loves to record moments for posterity. So it would make so much sense he'd want to incorporate that into his sex life too, especially if it's romantic like this.) Anyway, this was absolutely worth the wait since you posted that announcement! 😁

Thank you! 🩷 I usually spend 2–4 days sketching out the layout of all the panels on the page and the character sketches. Clean linework takes me about another day, and then another day for the colouring👌🏻
