Hi Stephen, looking at question 1 in the survey brings to mind a question I have. Was gesture drawing part of your curriculum at the academy? Or is it not considered part of a classical drawing education?

It is a part, for sure. Just that it is not studied through short sketches- more throughout 2 hour poses and much longer ones as well.

Hi Stephen. Blown away by your content. I'm an art instructor myself and get very valuable teaching material from your lessons. Very grateful indeed. Another unrelated question but could you kindly tell me what software you use to show change in planes and values on your portraits and objects? Like the pear, for example? It will help me a lot show my kids how to look at subject and see plane and value changes. Second thing is, I cant find all the lessons in my tier and Im unable to locate the menu for that anywhere on the page. I use Chrome. Thank you so very much.
