🎵 Its the FINAL COUNTDOWN, na na na na... na-na-na na na  🎸🎵

Ok, but really- we are at the end of the drawing section of Anatomy for Portrait Artists. It's been a heck of a journey and you can navigate the collected lessons here.

In this lesson you will learn about how the subtle and specific forms of the skull can be observed to affect the surface form of the head when seen in profile.

Here are all of the materials you will need:

  • Graphite pencils- from 2H-2B
  • Paper- white/off-white/pearl grey, Stonehenge or Canson mi-teintes
  • Kneaded erasers
  • Paper stumps- a variety of sizes

yes!!! Thank you Master Bauman. Is great to close 2023 with a bang and say 2024 welcome with a bang and plenty of lessons!

I signed up to support Stephen and to learn more about structure/form, but this lesson revealed a bit how much I need to improve on value. I was finding it difficult getting that hatch look and depicting shape as clear and refined as I would like. This exercise was great practice and love the commentary.
