Ponies got back! (Patreon)

The G6 ponies that took second place in the poll - or rather, their colorful rumps! While working on this drawing, I studied the official character art in great detail. I concluded that I’m not particularly fond of their new designs; they are cluttered with unnecessary details. In my view, the G4 designs for these same characters were perfect in their simplicity and color palettes. So, I think I’ll stick to drawing G4 ponies - especially since the third-place winner was a G4 Fluttershy. Consider this piece of fan art just a trial run.

I also tried to give the main characters some distinctive features, and since they are turned with their hindquarters to the viewer, those very features are located under the tails!

There is only one version, but it comes in several variations: the full version, a version without a background, and an HD version 1920x1080 - so you can set it as your wallpaper at work and draw envious glances from colleagues and bosses alike.
