New Moon on Moonday (Patreon)

Lauma from Genshin Impact, who took first place in the latest poll, along with her deerbutt. She is the Envoy of the Moon Ballad, the Maiden of the Grove, and the Moonchanter of the Frostmoon Scions. In short, she’s a formidable lady. I recall promising to draw Lauma as the ethereal spirit - known in-game as the "Spirit Envoy state" - that she assumes during a charged attack; however, while drawing, I decided to also depict her physical deertaur form, combining Lauma’s average appearance with an ordinary deer from the Nod-Krai. I can’t vouch for the absolute accuracy of the character’s appearance, as I stopped playing that gacha-casino right before the release of Natlan and haven’t logged in since (though I do keep up with new character releases). Besides, I’m often put off by the visual design of characters in Chinese gacha-casinos, the way their outfits are cluttered with useless elements and accessories. Fortunately, in this instance, the frame is dominated by Lauma’s backside - her best part, which looks perfect without any clothing or unnecessary trinkets.

The only thing I changed was Lauma’s tail. In the original, it’s long and horse-like; I’m not sure why; perhaps the designer mixed up their reference images and accidentally used a photo of a horse instead of a deer. I corrected that oversight. I also added dewclaws to her legs to make her look truly like a deer. The background is based on the green backdrop that appears in the menu for every Dendro character - the element Lauma belongs to.

In total, there are four versions: two in spirit state and two in physical form, with and without an udder. Plus, there are versions without a background.
