Not Dracula's Guest? It's Walpurgisnacht! Ach du lieber!

I love this episode and, if Joe keeps picking out winners like this, then Executive Producer I think is an reasonable promotion. Here is something interesting, I am a hug Horrorbabble fan, in fact there a 3 volumes of HorrorBabble's Ultimate Weird Tales that can be bought as a book or audiobook. I own all 3 and they are all great, to be fair, not all of the stories land, but many do and there more than a few that are exceptional. One particular story, "Hey, You Down There!" by Harold Rolseth is one of the great ones, content warning - anarchaic terms used, its a story about a couple and a well and one day they find out someone is down there.....

1. Albert is right, this really is an entertaining bit of the past. Do you have Prince Albert in a can? 2. Insect sex: I COULD look up fly sex to see how it compares to bee sex, but I won't. All I know is, in THE FLY (1986), I am glad that Veronica didn't lay down with Brundle any further into his transformation. 3. Did the repetitive use of flames to describe death by bee sex bring to mind CLUE (1985)? "It-it- the f - it -flame - flames. Flames, on the side of my face...."

This podcast has been going on so long that Albert wasn't even conceived when it started, and now he's a producer and Author! There has never been a time in his life where this podcast did not exist so of course producer is the natural progression.

Chris: “Hey Albert, whats a really good one of our classic episodes?” Albert: “The one where Chad talks about possible dolphin relations and you talk about explosive bee sex.” He’s not wrong.

Horrorbabble is amazing. He is still going strong. My secret dream is for a crossover episode where Ian reads for SSoSS. HB just did a reading of a story that is a strong contender for March is for Draculas. "Father's Vampire" by A Taylor and L. J. Moffatt published in Weird Tales in 1952. Its about this guy that hoards junk who is convinced he’s found a vampire’s coffin and is trying to keep it quiet. His son finds out about it and dark humour very much in a “The Burbs” vein ensues. Short and fun.

I feel like I didn’t ask to know about dolphin sex or bee sex and now I feel thoroughly violated and this trauma has resurfaced. So thanks. (Jk this was absolutely hilarious and the fact Albert recommended it makes it 10x more funny)

I’m not going to lie: I think I missed this story the first go round!

at 8:45 - 9:45, this bit made me think about the show Grimm, with the police detective Nick Burhardt who can see the animal nature of certain people (Wesen)

It's a Ghost.

Fun Fact: There was another episode where you mentioned a were-bean (I thought), and I wondered what I was missing, because I didn't know what a were-bean was.

Wow. I have listened to every episode and somehow have literally no memory of this one.
