Richard Upton Sinclair Lewis Pickman

“He asked me to his home some evening to watch an experiment.” Just envisioning this character is played by Louis CK. 😬

Cole Caron

I’ve been enjoying these repoe-sted episodes. I wonder what a modern version of this story would look like. An entire court of Steven Kings?

Bret Kramer

Will the Strange Studies crew be at Necronomicon ‘26? On a totally unrelated note, if anyone’s planning to attend, owns a cape, and can grow a mustache, I have a fun idea…

S Jayne Bradley

I wish I could go to these live events, but I'm a poor office worker in Aotearoa. One day, maybe, when the stars are right

Pearce Duncan

I am also a poor office worker in Aotearoa, but I was at this as I was temporarily flush in 2015. If you do make it to one don't do what I did, which was be too shy to approach Chad and Chris to say hi.

S Jayne Bradley

I no doubt would approach them and say something truly embarrassing with full confidence then relive the moment for the rest of my days

Robby Haentze, a consumer of silliness

I work overnights at Walmart and I save money for 2 years just to go to the Necronomicon Providence. It's just about the only vacation I take

Robby Haentze, a consumer of silliness

Listening to these live events got me to go to the Necronomican Providence in 2022 and 2024... the only years Chris and Chad didn't go (and I feel like it's my fault)

Eric - Speaker in Digressions

A long-lasting regret that I was at a vendor table through much of NecronomiCon Providence 2015 and so I missed seeing this live. Fun fact: While listening to this today, as it was the next one to catch up on, I happened to be driving on Benefit Street past the Athenaeum. Didn't see any Poes, but then, it was daytime.

Fredrik Bridell

At the very end, while the music is playing and the audience has started talking, it sound like somebody says ”an anthology of Poes” as if THAT IS THE PROPER COLLECTIVE NOUN FOR POES?!!
