Dean? Dean? I love Dean! Also: Started a re-listen to the podcast around March 2020 (why is that date so familiar?). Subscriber when it was free, supporter when it was $6.66 (remember those days?), enjoyed the whole thing all over again.

Jeffrey Kahrs

I can't wait for the Omelas episode. That gonna be wildin

Forrest Rush

Did I hear right that there's going to be an Ursula K LeGuin month? Fantastic!

Joe in ‘You’ is absolutely a monster protagonist lovecraft may have been looking for. Not a monster by supernatural means, but a monster nonetheless. Joe in the first season, Is absolutely terrible in every way and beyond cringe. Stalker, murderer, holding women hostage, manipulation, lies, and trophy keeping. And you do get that POV into his thoughts.

So I read the Tales of the Werewolf Clans and it was made up of solid, pulpy historical adventure tales. Not enough werewolf action, and the end is an awful deus ex machina, but the adventures of Wlad's various descendants through the centuries are entertaining, especially the Scottish wizard. Sadly, the Werewolf's daughter is not a werewolf herself, but she does get tricked by the Master.

So in the current run of the Moon Knight comic, it starts with a couple of vampires that have kidnapped and turned some people in a pyramid/MLM scheme. It’s pretty funny/horrible/believable. Also, relevant because, as we all know, Dracula owes Moon Knight money. (That f’ing nerd.)

I thought the 'joke' behind Jack Reacher's name was that he's "a creature".

Keep my sister’s name out of your f***ing mouth, Howling II 😡

Wot??? Whaddaya mean you don't make any money off it? Ask us for money, for pete's sake!!! Just tell us how much you want. (No, within reason.) But ask!! I would LOVE to help finance some more episodes, LOVE TO.

Andrew Brown

If any monster I could relate to it’s a mummy, think about the ‘original’ movie. Trapped in time looking for your love, ugggh brutal.

I have been waiting for a mention of Kolchak the Night Stalker... blink and would have missed it...

I also have the book Terrifying Transformations that DR mentioned in their comment on the Wolf-Woman episode. To clarify Chris and Chad have covered "The White Wolf of the Hartz Mountains" (1839) by Frederick Marryat (Eps. 194-95), "The White Wolf" (1882) by Guy de Maupassant (Ep 189) and "The Were-Wolf" (1890) by Clemence Housman (Eps 146-48). However DR is referencing "The White Wolf of Kostopchin" (1889) by Gilbert Campbell which is a story you all haven't covered. There are A LOT of stories about white wolf women from the 1800s! As per my own comment, I think based on the quality of the first two Quite & Bold episodes that Chris and Greg could easily get people to pay for new ones. Just make them a tier here on Patreon and I would happily up my pledge.

Chad, I was going to call you out for calling "The Company of Wolves" an Angela Lansbury film when it's an Angela Carter film, then I checked and it is an Angela Lansbury film, well, she's in it. Weirdly, with Danielle Dax, which... so 80s. I should have trusted you to be absolutely correct on anything "Murder, She Wrote" related.

Bummed to hear you guys won’t be at NecronomiCon!
