That sasuke vs orochimaru sequence still goes so hard after all these years🫠 i still stand by the notion that they should have run like sasuke said last episode lol. we can never tell about the substitutions either XD the characters themselves sometimes have abilities that allow them to know like sasuke using his sharingan, but the stronger the opponent the harder it is differentiate their clones. As a viewer we just get to the point where we are always suspecting a clone or substitution when a finishing blow is dealt 🤣 what’s awesome is the more you see the fights, learn about different jutsu and techniques and ninja tools like paper bombs etc, you actually start thinking like them when watching the fights 🤪 to this day i’d say naruto still has the best fights, even compared to new gen fights that rely so much on animation being strong, cuz the naruto fights are logical and tactical, and the hand to hand combat choreo is so well done and seamless

They definitely have permission to kill sasuke though. They make it very clear that orochimaru’s orders to them were to fight sasuke with intention to kill. Besides even the cursed seal orochimaru has put on sasuke, they clarify, has an extremely high mortality rate.

Idk why the subs said “previous person” but it should be “precious person”. He should only use the hidden lotus when protecting someone most precious to him. Lol also I meant to say this a couple episodes ago, but was reminded when you were talking about Anko. You were calling the material under their clothes fishnets, but it’s actually a type of armor. Almost kinda like chainmail I believe. I don’t think it’s confirmed or anything, but there was an episode at some point where Naruto and another character that hasn’t shown up yet were taking these pieces of clothing off and it was making a clinking sound. Plus so many of the characters wear it under their gear and clothes.
