The part on milli, I can understand and see where you're coming from but I'm not really a rap expert at speed rapping or anything like that especially if its not in English so that's why people like Jo Gwang-il jo don't really appeal to me, but honestly she has such a good positive energy that I'm still rooting for her even if she is lacking in that department.

oh also. the world of yaksha (show #2) doesn't have english subs yet that i'm aware of. it's on tving (same program as rap:public) but unlike rap:public i haven't been able to find it on goplay so

Im gonna to start a rumor between Haon and Milli lmao its so funny in the last ep he slowly moved seats till he reached the one next to her and now he's posting her on his acc likee. Also you might think that way cause of the unfamiliarity thai language, I listen to Thai quite often so it doesn't sound jarring to me. She's also doing good with the korean watchers which is crazy with her being thai and a woman so I'm def rooting for her. I also see them keeping her till late in the show bc she's bringing LOTS of thai viewers to the show

Yea whatever is going on with Haon and Milli is actually taking me out bro 😭. Like the way Haon is so obviously trying to slide is genuinely so funny to me. But Milli's a baddie so very valid tbh

Haon was on season 6, which is honestly one of my fave seasons after 7, especially since Dean was a producer then. I'd love for you to go back and watch seasons 5-8 i think that was peak SMTM ngl

personally i think milli has insane potential if she makes it to the song stages just because of how much she can do. i do think her fast rapping probably sounded impressive if you didn't speak english which is why it sounds a bit too all over the place to us. it's obviously something new shes trying which shes being open about so respect to that. top 3 atm are haon, jung junhyuk and trayb. got my eye on nosun and osun too though cos i've seen what they can do. Nosun's new song 'whodafuq' popped tf off with Zene personally hoping haon joins hukky's team (think it'd be too easy if he joins moshpit x jayy park) and that junhyuk instead would match moshpit and jay park very well. (junhyuk and moshpit dressing up and their sounds matchww, and junhyuk and jay park having alot of background similarities too)

When it comes to the translation lyrics its very common. It happens alot in kpop which is why you'll see english speaking song writers on mainly korean songs. They'll submit the song lyrics in English and have other korean song writers translate them to make it sound musically appealing and not just from google translate. Ig it's also why some english lyrics aren't the best bc they use the same process but without the proper person to translate the lyrics

I think the only reason you thought you heard fleekys song was because of the Akuma part which his album was named lol or the similar style but this was a new song, same with tray b, haons was also a new song, the battle round is not the second show, the second show which show me subs said they are still doing is a rap battle/cypher located at a different part of the building im assuming lol, there’s quite a few rappers that got eliminated so far that are really good on there, so far I believe the yaksha episodes are on the 4th ep (can be corrected) 3 rappers returning to the main show after the next ep

They were about an hour and a half long, at the moment I’ve only seen it without subs, watched the first one and skimmed through battles in the other, but what I can get from it has been pretty fun

Okay finally caught up. I will say from these last two episodes that I really am enjoying the newer contestants a lot like MilliMax, OxyNova, Hwi, Junhyeok etc. well there are a few here that I'm interested in I like that it doesn't feel so heavily weighted towards people who have appeared so many times in the past. I see what you're saying about Milli. I both find her impressive and her way of performing makes me nervous cuz it doesn't sound like she can keep it up. she always manages to scrape to the end of the performance but it's tense the whole time. I do really hope she makes it to the song rounds though because with any of these producing teams I feel like there's an opportunity to hear her on a really cool track. I just sawabout the Cooper guys today that they did pass this round and Toox posted this on IG https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUlwmy2ErwQ/?igsh=cTRyaGQzcDQxM2sw TLDR: they were actually in Korea shooting other content when they got suggested to audition for SMTM so they extended their trip to participate but it was never really in the plan and they ultimately had to return to the US early.

oh dang i forgot to comment on this ep; - from what i remember, i don’t think fleeky bang deserved an all pass.. he didn’t stand out badly but he didn’t stand out in a good way either (for me) - pleasantly surprised by yung blesh!! he did well - i was looking fwd to it but did not enjoy royal 44’s 60sec perf :/ - this ep had me thinking just how arbitrary the entire judging system is, two people could both have an old school rap style but one will be “dated” and the other will get 3+ passes.. make it make sense plz - i DO agree with nosun’s 4 pass tho!! he deserved that and SO glad zene the zilla did well bc he been on my list since ep 1 - ngl the WORST all pass this ep (for me) was chio i’m sorry HOW. it’s real unserious in here. i love supporting women but i’m so lost on how she made it this far - milli has a great singing voice, i wish she would rap more in thai on the show tbh, most of the songs i have of hers that i liked were like 95% thai lyrics. for her english lyrics, to me it sounds like she's saying it but not fully enunciating through the end of the word so it sounds a bit blended, esp when she's going fast - also i don’t think you’re hating at all btw. i feel like that's more when people just hating to hate, with no reasoning at all or just making things up. you on the other hand… you’ve got a point 😭 tbh i’m still thinking about the ep2 60 sec performances more, but excited to finally watch ep 4 !!
