Hey, so not a lot of votes have been cast, but I think one of the biggest issues currently is, that when you look at a statblock and you switch to the next creature, you have to go back to the main window and select the statblock from the next creature and again and again. There could be a lot of clicks happening, just because a single HP value changes and you close the statblock to do this.

Therefor (and because it was the most voted feature with 2 of 2 votes 😅) I will start working on a statblock popover.

As subscribers you have now the chance to help me find the best possible solution for this. I already gave it some thought, but I'd like to hear your opinions on what makes more sense:

Popover with Tabs

This implementation would allow to select a Token whos statblock should be displayed in a separate popover (OBR wording for a additional window inside owlbear.rodeo). This popover should be moveable by the user or at least have the option in the settings page to define a default position.

In this popover each selected Token has it's own tab, so you can easily switch between creatures. In the main window there will be a button to open or close the popover.

Advantages:

Not much space needed

Fast switching between statblocks

A lot of statblocks can be "open" (but not visible) at the same time

Popover for each statblock

This implementation would add a button to each Token, which would open a popover with the tokens statblock. This means that when selecting multiple tokens, multiple popovers would be open. This would make seeing two or three or maybe even four statblocks at the same time a lot easier. But it would take up a lot of space in the scene which is not good for small screens.

Advantages:

More statblocks visible at the same time

Something else

I'm currently trending towards the Popover with tabs. But please let me know what you'd prefer or if you have a completely different idea in the comments.
