Devlog 7 - HP Tracker v1.5.0 (Patreon)

Just finished the documentation of the new features and as always found some bugs while doing that. I personally count that as a positive side effect of writing documentation, because it gives me the chance to test things from the perspective of an outsider.

Also sometimes I get a small idea that could improve the user experience as was the case this time. Due to a request on the owlbear discords, I added the possibility to change the dice with which to roll initiative. And although I support 5e and pf2e initiative rules, there are lot's of home-brewed rules out there that are maybe not compatible. So I also added a new input field in the statblock where once a statblock has been assigned the initiative bonus can be manually overwritten. This is great for systems where the initiative bonus is neither DEX nor perception.

I also added a new Quickstart section to the documentation, but because of limitations I have with gifs the quality of the video is not the best. Therefor I attached the better quality video to this post.

I will push the release after some more testing this evening or tomorrow morning. And start working on version 1.6.0 😁
