This is a special post, because it's the first time I can officially announce the Tabletop Almanac and also because we hit 150 Patreon supporters yesterday.

Before I start rambling the most important part: Tabletop Almanac is live you can look at it here. It's not completely done but while the part for logged-in users is hidden, about 50% is already done. And soon you can create your own custom statblocks to use in HP Tracker.

Now for the rambling:

Thank You!

When I started developing HP Tracker about 8 months ago, I just wanted a little extension for owlbear to keep track of token HP while not revealing this information to my players. I had a little bug in the first version I submitted to the owlbear store, so they informed me to look at the owlbear discord server, because the solutions was posted there. I started talking a bit with the people there and got a lot of great feedback and feature requests so I just started extending HP Tracker.

Now 8 months later HP Tracker has HP bars, statblocks, a dice roller, and lots of other features. It's used by about 15,000 people each weekend and I have 150 awesome patreon supporters.

This is absolutely incredible. I would've never thought that this would happen but you guys motivated me to make HP Tracker better and also finally implement probably the most requested feature: Custom Statblocks.

Tabletop Almanac

I talked a lot about why I need a separate website and my own backend to implement custom statblocks already. But to have something finally presentable, close to release is something special for me as well. Currently you can only search for the same statblocks that are also available in HP Tracker, but soon you'll be able to do so much more.

The API is also free to use (within reasonable rate limits), so if you want you can create your own website/application/owlbear-extension connected to Tabletop Almanac.

I updated this sites logo and header as well to use the updated images. If you want to know anything just leave a comment.

thank you for the incerdible support,

Josh

Congratulations! This feels like it's ahead of your planned schedule, so "well done" for getting it this far already 😁 Looking forward to seeing logins come available and seeing inside the treasure chest of Tabletop Almanac ☺️
