“Annie, would you do the honor of turning on the timer,” he said before touching Britta. “Start when you feel comfortable.” Britta opened her mouth immediately, but he interjected before she could say anything else. “Britta, please take a deep breath and tell me when you’re ready. The last thing I want you to feel is uncomfortable, or feel like you made a mistake because the situation kept escalating.”

Britta’s eyes widened and got shinier. She took a deep breath, and he did his best not to look at how her chest shifted.

He was completely honest, giving her time to process, which was why he was amused that, technically, it was cheating for their little bet. Emotional vulnerability might be Britta’s biggest weakness.

Unfortunately for her, her famously terrible taste in men, combined with her scarily accurate perception that could see through all kind of nonsense when she was having a moment of clarity, meant that it was a rare treat for her.

Orgasms had a way of washing away any distractions, leaving her to face the truth. And, with her famously terrible taste in men, those moments of truth couldn’t have been fun.

No wonder she hooked up with Jeff despite what she claimed to be fairly mediocre sex. Jeff was emotionally composed enough that she never had to ‘see’ the truth.

“Really? I mean, what if I change my mind? Wouldn’t you regret turning down a threesome with me?”

It was a surprisingly tricky question if one treated it as simple. Focusing on regret would feel like pressure, and saying no would imply that it wasn’t that exciting. “I would, but not as much as I would regret if I made any of you uncomfortable.”

Britta shook her head. “Good try, but threesomes are always messy. No exception.”

“Really? That’s not my experience,” Annie called.

Britta looked at Annie, surprised. “A threesome, really?” she said.

Annie blushed more than in her earlier show. “Technically, threesomes,” she admitted.

“More than one?” Britta asked. Annie nodded. “Different people?”

“Different girls,” Annie said.

That immediately triggered Britta. “Hey, isn’t it unfair, especially since men can barely satisfy one woman—“ she started, but he put his finger on her lips.

“One bet at a time,” he said. “Win your first, then you can challenge me to another,” he said.

Her confident smirk was pure Britta at her best, meaning his little talk had already done its job. “It looks like you’ll finally have your coupon, Annie,” Britta said happily.

Annie snorted. “Are you mad? I’m not taking that bet! Why would I take one where I’m guaranteed to lose?”

“Really?” Britta said. Annie nodded in pure honesty. “Is he that good?” she asked. Annie nodded again, smiling shyly. “I’m going to lose this bet, right?” she said.

“Big time,” Annie said.

Britta paused to think. “Good,” she then declared. “Start the timer.”

He leaned forward, once again trapping Britta under his gaze, enjoying her shiver. Annie started the timer, and he leaned down, kissing her gently. Britta, expecting some kind of intense assault, moaned in surprise.

He continued to kiss her gently while his fingers danced over her body, her body arching under his soft touch. Could he have bent Britta over the nearest couch and given her an explosive orgasm by sheer physical power?

Certainly.

But, it was not Britta needed at the moment. And, giving his ladies what they wanted and what they needed at the same time was a point of pride for him.

When he broke the kiss, he moved down, kissing her neck first before traveling down to her collarbone, enjoying her shivers. Her back arched, but as she raised her head, he could see her eyes tremble as well.

“Y-you won’t win if you don’t hurry up,” Britta whispered.

“Let me worry about that,” he whispered as he continued. He bypassed her breasts, still in her bra. Not because they were anything less than incredible, but he wanted to surprise her. He didn’t touch anywhere covered by her panties either.

Instead, he focused on her belly, then moved down, playfully nibbling her inner thighs, the pressure and timing enough to drive her crazy.

Gentle teasing could be even more effective when applied carefully. By the four-minute mark, Britta’s back was already arching desperately. “I … I’m almost there,” she whispered, her voice fascinated.

He went up once more, catching her gaze. “Not yet. We still have six minutes,” he said, his hands dancing on her body while he stole another kiss.

“T-that’s cheating,” she whispered.

“Is it?” he said, then he looked at Annie, who had taken Britta’s earlier seat. Her legs were open, and she was playing with herself. Under the gaze of Britta, she blushed badly.

“W-what? It’s sexy,” she whispered. Her legs closed, but her hand stayed there. “And, he’s right. It’s not cheating. Technically, it makes it likelier for you to win, not less. You just need to hold on during the last minute, and you’ll win.”

“Yes, I’ll win,” Britta whispered playfully, which was followed by a moan. He chuckled, deciding that her absurd competitiveness could be surprisingly fun.

The best part, for all her claims about being worldly and open to new experiences, she seemed to be as inexperienced as Annie when it came to gentle lovemaking. His perception allowed her to read her reactions and her expressions at the same time, and she seemed to be surprised by her own feelings.

Ordinarily, edge play should require extended time to be devastating, but that was an issue for mere mortals. He didn’t bring her near the edge, but right on it. It was as difficult as balancing a coin on the sharp edge of a blade … which, coincidentally, was something he could do just as well.

“Last ten seconds,” he whispered as he leaned down to kiss her.

“Nine, eight, seven…” Annie counted. “Keep it up, Britta. Almost there,” she said.

“I’m going to win, yes!” Britta gasped, but he shifted his touch slightly. “Oh, no, no, no … yes, yes, yes!” she moaned deliriously, her reaction to losing the bet overwhelmed by the intense pleasure that covered her body.

She climaxed hard, leaving her a trembling, gasping mess.

He caught Annie’s gaze, and gestured her to arrive. She did, lying on the opposite side of Britta. Together, they started kissing her neck again, replicating the earlier scene, but this time, the roles were reversed. They were teaching, and Britta was learning.

Britta opened her mouth to say something, but Annie silenced her with a quick kiss. Britta was shocked, but after a second, she melted to it. “You don’t have to say anything,” Annie whispered after she pulled back. “Just relax.”

Annie pulled down Britta’s panties, and he dealt with her top, and soon, all three of them were naked. What followed was not the usual fun dance, but a gentle embrace, sexy but filled with sincerity.

It was what Britta needed. Britta’s love story in the show was even worse than Annie’s. Annie’s was barren, with the highlight of a fake boyfriend Abed had created just to make Annie cook more pancakes.

Meanwhile, Britta’s emotional highlights had one persistent theme. She was never the focus of her own relationship. With Troy, Abed came before Britta, for Rick, Subway and Honda came first, as for all his claims to be an amazing anarchist, Rick was a corporate-approved conman loving the game above everything, with Britta playing the damsel of that exciting story.

And Jeff … well, for Jeff, he put himself as the first, second, and third priorities, never leaving anyone else space.

Emotionally closed off didn’t begin to cover that man.

She didn’t have that at that moment. He might not promise forever, but he always gave them the moment, not just in terms of performance, but also in terms of emotional presence.

As a result, their little threesome turned into a sensual dance. No extreme positions, no speed. Just a gentle dance, while he focused on the two beautiful women with whom he shared the bed.

It was well past midnight when they collapsed as a tangled set of limbs, Britta at the center, with them hugging from both sides. "I don't feel alone right now," she admitted quietly, her voice filled with surprise. She gulped. “I … I always do after sex. Why do I don’t feel alone?”

Any other time, he would have made a quip about being crowded, but it wasn’t what Britta needed. It was also why he caught Annie’s gaze, and stopped the reflexive joke she had. It was how their group operated. Not this time.

“It’s because you’re very perceptive,” he said.

“No, I’m not. I’m a self-obsessed poser,” she said.

He chuckled. “Not the words I would use, but also true,” he teased. Annie looked shocked while Britta’s smile turned brittle. “It’s normal. We all have our ways to separate us from pain. Annie has her cute, colored binders, and you have your activist identity.”

“Hey, my causes are important—“ she started.

He silenced her with a kiss. “Classes are important too. Does it mean when Annie spends an extra week just to turn an A into an A+ she’s doing perfectly well?”

Britta paused. “I see your point.”

“Hey. I’m right here,” she said.

“Yes. And how many times I have to physically drag you away from your schedule to explore Los Angeles.”

Annie pouted cutely. “Fine, point.”

“As for why you feel alone at other times, I have a guess. As I said, you’re very perceptive when you’re not distracting yourself. Well, you stop distracting yourself when you’re with someone in bed, you look at them.” He kissed her cheek. “It must hurt when you realize they are not looking back.”

She shivered. “Am I that unlovable?”

He didn’t answer. Not because he couldn’t answer, but sometimes words weren’t the solution. Instead, three of them stayed hugging, tangled. For a long while, none of them said anything, but none of them spoke either.

“Thank you, for being here,” Britta whispered as she kissed him gently on the cheek, and repeated the same for Annie. Annie just gave a wet smile back. He kissed Britta. Then he kissed Annie.

Britta soon fell asleep. “Thank you,” Annie whispered. “I mean, I knew she had some problems, but I assumed they were … this was intense.”

He kissed her. “We all have our armor,” he said.

“What is yours?” she asked.

“I was scared of living,” he responded. “I followed the path in front of me, hiding myself … until I decided not to do that anymore,” he said.

“I’m glad you did,” she whispered, kissed him one last time, and closed her eyes. He ignored the notification for the moment as well, instead closing his eyes.

It can wait until morning.

He checked the notification in the morning after he woke up to take a quick shower.

1 Random Diamond Skill

1 Random Diamond Reward]

The high value didn’t surprise him, as it was not a simple reward. And, while a stat point was tempting, it wasn’t tempting enough to stop him targeting another Master skill. The difference between the two was too great.

Also, he couldn’t help but feel curious about what he would get from Britta; as she was good and terrible at a lot of things, often simultaneously.

[Master Event Planning]

[Epic Skill: You are an incredible event planner, capable of setting grand events, with practical capabilities to address every last minute incident and deficiency from floral arrangement to sewing. You can prepare anything, from simple birthdays to royal weddings and coronation ceremonies.]

Ah, he thought with a smile. Britta and her legendary secret wedding planning skills, one that she never used because it required accepting her feminine side.

He was happy with the skill. It wasn’t a useful skill, but it was certainly an amusing one to have.

He decided to bring Britta to Manhattan sometime. Not only he doubted he could spend any quality time with her in the Greendale madness, not without finding himself in a silly competition with Jeff that would trigger Britta’s every single anger flag at once, but also it would be absolutely hilarious when she marched into a high-class event preparation wearing combat boots, looking like she wasn’t fit to be even a servant, plan a far superior event, refuse to elaborate, and disappear.

Imagining the socialites of Manhattan searching for Britta all around the world to throw an exclusive party, never imagining her to be hiding in a community college in Colorado, was too amusing.

He had a feeling that Britta would agree even without their bet. The idea of pranking some of the richest, snobbiest people in the world was too tempting for her to ignore.

Technically, breakfast was included, hence the category, Bed & Breakfast, but he asked Annie to make sure a kitchen was included, including the ingredients. He remembered Britta was vegetarian, so he went with a mushroom omelet and some quiche, with a juice combo.

He was putting the finishing touches on when Britta arrived in the kitchen, wearing a bathrobe. “Morning,” she said, avoiding his gaze, a blush on her face. “A-Annie is still asleep. Maybe we should wake her up.”

“Let her rest a while. It’s rare for her to sleep in. She usually wakes up very early,” he said. A glance through the bedroom door showed Annie was actually up. She was giving the two of them space.

“R-right. Maybe I should…” she started, but he decided to cut through the awkwardness in the best way possible. He kissed her hard. She responded immediately, her passion far more pronounced. She tugged his towel down, and he removed her robe, and soon he was pushing her against the kitchen counter.

It wasn’t the gentle, vulnerable dance of the night before, but a passionate explosion. Then, Britta stopped, her eyes wide. “Wait, Annie is not here. Isn’t it a big no-no…”

“Not the way we do it,” he said.

Britta looked hesitant. Annie decided to intervene. “Go ahead and start, I still need to take a shower,” she called, giggling.

Britta’s eyes widened. “That’s…” she whispered.

He slid into her, drilling her hard. She reacted to it very well. The last night’s emotional embrace had been critical for her mentally, not to mention he managed to pull some tricks that got fun reactions out of her, but clearly, physically, she enjoyed his rough invasion much more.

Luckily for her, for him, physical roughness and emotional intimacy weren’t exclusionary choices. He flipped her soon, pressing her against the wall. Her legs wrapped around him, and she maintained eye contact while he drilled her hard.

But, after a playful attempt, he avoided spanking and actions of a similar vein; her reaction showed that while she was willing to accept it, she didn’t enjoy it.

“You’re a very picky dance partner, Britta,” he whispered playfully.

She blushed. “I don’t know what you mean,” she said.

“You do,” he said, shifting his grip lower, and he started drilling her harder. When they started eating, she had a dazed, making Annie giggle in amusement.

“Still confident we can take him down easy?”

Britta scoffed, her daze fading away. “Of course we can!” Britta suddenly declared. “He might be somewhat better than I expected. But, we’re women. We can defeat patriarchy as long as we unite!”

“Oh, really,” he said.

“Yes,” Britta declared as she slammed her hands on the table, which made her naked breasts dance in a very alluring way. “We can win,” she said, then attacked her food again. “Annie, wear a skirt. We’ll take turns driving and…” she started, then her eyes widened at exactly what she was planning.

“Riding,” he suggested, already giggling.

“Yes, riding,” Britta pushed forward, bypassing her own shame with practiced ease. “Let’s see whether he still has that smug smile when we arrive at Greendale.”

With that, she stood up, dashed to the bedroom to change.

“I thought you described Britta’s tendency to embrace impossible challenges as a negative quality,” he said.

Annie was gaping at the chair Britta left, unable to decide between amusement and exasperation. “I mean … this is so Britta,” she said with a chuckle.

“Including forcibly volunteering you into her cause,” he added.

Annie nodded, then reached for the eggs. “I should load more. The trip will be exhausting.”

Ethan had a huge smile on his face as he entered Greendale. Annie and Britta, responsible for his huge smile, were on the back seat, sleeping in exhaustion. Britta technically Britta’d the bet, but it had been amazing.

Especially since Annie could never refuse a competition. With two of them alternating between driving and riding, it turned out to be the best road trip he experienced.

He hummed a song as he drove toward Annie’s temporary apartment; a compromise they reached back in LA. He refused to allow her return to her dangerous apartment, and she refused to pick a new apartment without an exhaustive search and inspect them one by one.

Their compromise was a temporarily furnished apartment in the better part of town.

Then, another notification arrived, adding to his good mood.

What followed was almost routine. Britta disappeared at the first moment, the sudden intimacy scaring her away, which was inevitable. Britta had the personality of a confused cat.

As for Annie, she would be focusing fully on her apartment search, so he decided not to stay, disappearing after breakfast. He could have stayed, but he wanted her to decompress properly and get her balance back before her term started.

It was time to return to LA.

Hmmm I wonder what is next? CeCe from New Girl would be a fantastic choice. Recruiting her for her experience in the modeling world, getting a jump on her talent agency. Plus that show had a whole host of hotties, Megan Fox among them.

Raftler

I wonder how Alex and Haley are doing. She should be back by now right?

Curious to know who the next new character he'll meet. Maybe someone from a show he doesn't know like i suggested before? Or from a TV movies? It's a movie but technically TV to.

Uncle Snoo

He mentioned investing in the stock market and stuff. Are we going to see some Billions characters get introduced? Plenty of highly skilled characters in that show.

Brudda Jokka

Bye Annie. Gotta admit Britta's probably the only girl I've disliked so far.

It would be interesting to see him run into Raymond Reddington from the Blacklist

thevolunteer

Blacklist is one of those plots that you run away from, if it exists in universe. Reddington might be one of the best characters of all time, but that verse is terrifying. If you want your fix of James Spader Boston Legal would be my go to, because Alan vs Specter would be hilarious.
