Cordelia didn’t waste any time before she removed her dress, and her panties followed, leaving only her stilettos on. He had to admit; she looked spectacular wearing only her heels.

He let her pin his hands against the headboard. “I am in control,” she said smugly while she dragged her hand over his chest. “Meanwhile, you will lie down and look pretty,” she said, then smirked. “You are pretty, especially for a boxer. Not even a crooked nose.”

“That’s because I’m an amazing boxer,” he said, which was even truer after he had dealt with that vampire. “Only the okay ones get their noses broken.”

Her smirk widened. “I would call you arrogant, but I have just seen you fight a vampire with your bare hands. I thought the only human who could achieve it was Buffy,” she said.

He thought about asking who Buffy was, but then decided again. The nickname was evocative enough, a large man with a lot muscles, enough to earn the title Buff-y. Even if this Buffy was more handsome, he didn’t want to ruin the mood by letting Cornelia talk about another man.

But, he did take note of the name, adding it to Giles and Sunnydale. It would make his life easier. Also, not following it up would make it easier if he needed to act like he hadn’t heard them.

Instead of asking stupid questions, he turned his gaze to her body. She took the message, and lowered herself. Her mouth had been amazing, but it had nothing to do with her core, especially with her phenomenal wetness.

But then, they had a spectacular date. Dinner, dancing, monster slaying…

She paused to adjust for a moment before her hips moved with perfect precision. Only at that moment, he understand why Americans were obsessed with cheerleaders.

Apparently, it wasn’t just about popularity.

Since she had been riding him to perfection, he changed his mind about flipping the game at the last minute, but instead let her control everything as she wanted … at least until he noticed a hint of annoyance on her face.

She wanted him to push back. Well, it was easy. He didn’t even have to break her rules for it. He let her keep his hands trapped while he leaned forward. Her angle meant her breasts were hovering just above him.

His lips and tongue, guided by Tantric, started assaulting her breasts, licking, sucking, and occasionally nibbling. A low groan escaped her mouth, which caused her to tighten even more.

Her thighs flexed, and he started matching her pace. But, she put her hand to his chest, silently ordering him to stop. Apparently, that was too much for her obsession with control. He smirked and obeyed.

For now. The night was long.

Once she got closer to climax, she cheated again, this time by letting his hands go and leaning back, bringing her breasts where he couldn’t reach without changing positions. And, changing positions was against the rules.

He let her, not because he was surrendering the battle, but because even with the disadvantages, he would win; especially since he had already climaxed once thanks to her finishing what she started in the alley.

So, when she shifted, he used the opportunity to change the angle slightly, hitting her much harder. It hit her with surprise, but she managed to handle it.

Though, her hands still dug deeply into his chest, hard enough to hurt. He smirked. “Don’t be smug. It’s not an attractive quality,” she admonished.

“I disagree. It’s a very attractive quality,” he responded, making her scoff. “Otherwise, how do you explain your charm?”

“Fine, you have a point,” she added, feigning reluctance, but her hips picked up speed, a last burst for victory.

She failed.

The fact that he got a reward from her was no surprise, but the designation was, at least to a degree. He expected Minor Special, and would have been pleasantly surprised with Tertiary ranking. Secondary classification, the same as Hermione’s, was a welcome surprise.

The special reward she provided, even more so, with potential combat implications. Not for his official matches other than adding some style, but against vampires. Since his fighting style against vampires relied primarily on dodging, that would pay off excellently.

She collapsed against his chest, trembling. “Well, it looks like my sexy Queen is surrendering,” he teased.

She looked up, her gaze deliciously bright. “Not a chance,” she said. “I’m just tired, and catching my breath.”

“Oh, if you’re tired, let me help, Your Highness,” he teased as he flipped her, trapping her under him. He grabbed her hands as she had done earlier, careful not to hurt her injured wrist.

“Treason!” she gasped, and he responded by impaling her hard, his hips hitting hard, but with a sense of rhythm he hadn’t possessed before, Acrobatics already paying dividends.

“Rebellion, Your Highness,” he countered as his hips picked up speed, eliciting a moan as a reward.

“What’s the difference?” she said.

“Victory, of course,” he responded. “But don’t worry, I’m British, we do keep our royals for entertainment even after a successful rebellion.” Well, mostly, but he didn’t want to explain why Charles the First had been executed.

It was not something he expected to say during sex, but considering how she tightened as he continued to tease her, he was glad he followed his impulse. He was starting to realize that Cordelia loved arguing, and even sex wasn’t enough to stop that.

Well, up to a certain point. As his free hand started caressing her body, finally showing his skills, her moans took over, the bed creaking under them. Her back arched. “You’re a treasonous brute,” she whispered.

“Unable to come up with a cleverer retort, Your Highness?” he teased her.

“I am — not — your — entertainment,” she moaned.

“Are you sure about that?” he responded, then kissed her hard. “You said you are tired, so I’m helping out. Don’t tell me you can’t handle even this much, Your Highness?”

“I can handle anything you can give,” she responded, prideful.

“Well, someone should teach you that pride and fall is tightly related. Almost as tight as your grip, my desperate Queen,” he teased. He continued to refer to her as a queen, because every time he did, she reacted by tightening.

He might have Tantric, but he wasn’t above using his other advantages.

He drove to the hilt and stayed there a beat, grinding, watching her eyes go wide despite herself. Her reaction was even more spectacular when he changed the angle, drilling even harder.

She breathed through her nose, biting her lip to contain her moan in a desperate attempt to not lose… “You’re silent, Your Highness,” he teased. She opened her mouth, no doubt to deliver another fun insult, but he picked up speed, drilling her hard.

Her mouth stayed open, but no insults came out, merely moans.

Moans that reached another climax.

“That’s the look,” he teased.

“There is no look.”

“So, are you saying that my job is not done, and I need to continue?” he said.

“Of course. What a lazy little knight you are, stopping without satisfying your Queen,” she responded, trying to sound in control.

A big mistake.

He flipped her without warning, putting her on all fours, then grabbed her hair, pulling back hard.

“You’re no knight. You’re a barbarian,” she moaned, but he could sense her surprise. Tantric allowed him to read her reaction, and it told him that she had never been taken from behind.

Then, even as he picked up speed, he thought about her reactions and realized that despite how she acted, her experience was surprisingly limited. She acted otherwise because it was a way to control the act.

How fun, he thought, even as he tightened his grip around her hair, pulling back while he used his other hand to spank her. He could hear the shock in her moan. “Tell me, Your Highness,” he teased. “Isn’t it fun to be teased like a common wench?”

She might have had an answer, but that didn’t amount to anything when she was busy moaning.

He fucked her hard, treating her magnificent body like a toy…

“Don’t stop,” she moaned.

Well, that was one order he was happy to follow.

“God, you’re a barbarian. I can’t even walk,” Cordelia muttered, still in bed.

He might have overdone a bit. “Sorry, sweetie. But you were the one who continued to challenge me. You must have realized that I am competitive.”

“You don’t have to be that competitive,” she muttered.

He just laughed, not bothering her about the hypocrisy of it. It was almost dawn … the second dawn they were watching together, meaning they had been in the room for more than thirty hours, ‘working out’, interrupted only by a couple naps and room service, with occasional massages to relieve soreness.

He had to admit her endurance was spectacular. Naturally, the system long hit its temporary cooldown limit, but not before he got what he wanted.

Their little escapade meant that Acrobatics had suddenly become his fifth highest skill, getting close to Wand Magic Theory.

Too bad he couldn’t tell Hermione that. With her competitiveness, she might have taken it as a personal affront to fix it.

She didn’t say anything, just hugged him, her breathing changing patterns. “Well,” she said with a sigh. “When’s your flight back?”

“Not set yet,” he said. “I’m here for three days. I have another fight planned before I return to London,” he said. He planned to stay longer, but he decided to keep that to himself.

Nor the fact that he was already planning to visit again.

She clearly had an independent streak, and the mere suggestion of semi-regular contact would have scared her off. Slowly extending the time was safer.

“Three days,” she muttered.

“I can use a roommate while I stay. I’m not sure I can sleep alone. Vampires are scary…” he whispered playfully.

She bit her lip. “A good point,” she said. “Fine, I’ll be a merciful Queen and protect you.”

“Good,” he said.

She paused again. “I have an audition today, though. I need to go back to my apartment to change and practice.”

“Good. I have an important meeting, and depending on the result I might have another fight. I need to rent a car and leave soon. I’ll leave a key card for you,” he offered. “Driving to Santa Barbara would be hell, though. It’s more than two hours. And, depending on the meeting results, I might have to stay there for a night for a spar or two, trying to arrange another fight.”

It was another lie. He had checked the map on the hotel guide, and it showed that Sunnydale was not far away from Santa Barbara, meaning he could claim he stopped by as an excuse if Cordelia had ever learned.

He much rather not explain why he deliberately visited a vampire-infested city if her offhand remarks were even vaguely accurate.

Though, he suspected she wouldn’t. Her words strongly implied that she had cut contact with her family and any friend she might have in Sunnydale permanently.

She giggled. “Two hours by car is nothing. Welcome to America.” Then, she paused. “You might not be back tonight, then?”

“Only a possibility,” he admitted. He didn’t plan on staying Sunnydale, but it was better to have an excuse and not need it than the alternative.

&&&

He shivered as he officially entered Sunnydale, driving a rental car, wondering if the chill he felt was real, or something he imagined based on Cordelia’s stories.

Admittedly, she didn’t say much, but the implications alone were bad enough.

His arrival was a bit later than he had planned. It was almost noon, but he had to visit five churches before he was able to get his hands on enough holy water for him to feel safe.

Unfortunately, he didn’t have a good plan. He only had one real name, Giles, and a nickname, Buffy, with no further idea. Cordelia hadn’t been very open about her past, and he felt that asking would have made her clamp up. She mentioned two others, but red and asshole were hardly conducive to an effective search.

The city was smaller than he expected, but the number of churches and graveyards was impressive, in a scary way considering the link between those places and vampires. “Maybe I should have tried to get my hands on some napalm,” he muttered.

Luckily, while he didn’t know where to find Giles, he had a better idea about Buffy, as Cordelia mentioned something about college possibly kicking Buffy out for violence, which meant he would be known around the campus.

It shouldn’t be hard to find someone strong enough to fight against vampires one-on-one, when he had both a location and a famous nickname. For that reason, he had a packet ready, with his nickname on the label, with boxing gloves.

It looked like a passive-aggressive gift that one might give a violent bloke. He would claim that he was helping a guy with a fraternity challenge if this Buffy ever got aggressive.

It sounded like something Americans did. He hoped movies were accurate.

He approached a group. “Hi, guys. Do you mind helping with a fraternity challenge. I’m supposed to be deliver this to someone called … Buffy.”

Since their eyes widened in fear, followed by sympathy, he suspected he had found the right direction. “A fraternity challenge, with Buffy?” He nodded. “Your funeral, man,” the guy said and pointed in a general direction.

He dismissed it at first, but every person he asked reacted similarly, so much so that he decided to adjust his plan when someone had finally pointed him directly. “There, talking with Parker,” the guy said, then ran away.

He saw a tall bloke, talking with a short, cute blonde. The cute blonde must be Parker.

The amount of fear people displayed intrigued him, especially since Buffy didn’t look that intimidating. He was tall and reasonably muscular, sure, but he wasn’t the scary giant he had imagined based on people’s reactions. He didn’t even have a nasty scar. He expected one.

But, he knew that it could be deceptive.

He couldn’t help but want to have a fight with the guy, curious how many points he would get. Unfortunately, he couldn’t go punch him, especially since he was not a student. The last thing he wanted was to be arrested.

If Buffy was the one to attack him, however…

He smirked as he watched Buffy trying to flirt with the cute blonde.

Based on people’s reactions to his name, he expected Buffy to come out swinging if he flirted with Parker.

“Let’s see if the American girls like the accent as much as they say,” he muttered once he saw Buffy and Parker split, and approached Parker. Technically, Cordelia already proved it, but she also saw him fighting and dancing.

Hermione would have claimed it skewed the results.

He approached her from behind, then coughed. “Sorry. Do you know where…” he started, and when she turned to him, he made a show of freezing.

“Are you alright?” she said, looking worried.

“Sorry, just, your eyes are so beautiful, they distracted me,” he said, hamming up his fascination, not that it took a lot of effort.

She did have very pretty eyes.

“They are?” she said, her eyes widening a touch further, her blush clear. He recognized the reaction. It reminded him more of Holly than Cordelia though. Even Hermione didn’t react that intensely.

It was as if she was surprised by the idea that anyone flirting with her.

But then, thinking about what he knew about America, it clicked. She must have come from a conservative family, and she was still warming up to the idea that someone might be interested in her. That, or she was a nerd in high school, and the idiot Americans ignored her.

He avoided her gaze a bit, feigning shyness. “They are, but sorry for blurting it out. It was rude of me.”

Her smile softened. “Don’t worry about it,” she said. “I had the same reaction to your accent, but you said first.”

“Not familiar with the British accent?” he asked.

“Well, no. I’m familiar,” she said. “But, I expect it to be wrapped in tweed, complaining about everything, including the tea and the sun.”

He laughed. “That seems to be the general expectation for us, but as a nation, we do have our standout members. We’re not all just bad teeth and tea.”

“I’ll say,” she said. “So, what brings you here?” she said, then blushed. “Sorry, it’s an obvious question. You must be a student.”

“Not a student, actually. Well, not yet. I’m looking around before applying for admission,” he said, hedging his bets. “But, I’m not used to large campuses, so I got lost.” He paused, glancing to the side again. “Would it be too forward if I asked you to help me? Just a quick tour of the campus. I’ll pay for lunch,” he said.

“Only if you tell me about London. I have always been curious about it.”

“It would be my pleasure,” he replied. “By the way, are there any admission advantages for sports?”

“For some, what do you play?”

He opened his mouth to say football, but then decided he didn’t want to have that talk with a girl she was flirting with in case she liked American football and got excited for nothing. “Soccer,” he said, grimacing. He also didn’t want to say boxing because it was too violent and it might scare her.

She looked too delicate to enjoy a violent sport.

That made her smirk. “You wanted to say football, and hated saying soccer, right?”

He laughed. “Exactly. It feels weird calling the sport I played since I was six by the wrong name.”

She giggled. “Any good?”

“Depends on how you measure. Unfortunately, I wasn’t good enough to go pro, but I’m quite good in semi-pros,” he said.

“Sounds like bragging,” she said, but she was teasing. “Maybe I should find a ball and test you?”

“No need,” he said, and when she looked surprised, he took a step toward the discarded, crushed soda can, and with a flick, he let it rise, putting on a small show. It was an easy trick, sufficiently impressive.

Her smile widened as he put on a show, especially when he kicked it and it went right into a trash can fifteen meters away. “Wow, you weren’t kidding,” she said, her smile widening.

They chatted as they walked around, but he soon realized multiple people were looking at him with pitying eyes. Buffy must have a really mean reputation, and he must have already staked his claim on Parker for people to pity him that badly.

Parker noticed it as well, looking a bit frustrated. For his objective of taunting Buffy for a fight, he should stay on campus, and turn it into a spectacle, but he decided it would be unfair to the poor girl.

“Actually, how about you recommend a place off-campus for an early lunch,” he said. “I have a rental car, a cute convertible, and you can guide me around the city.”

Her smile was reward enough. “I would love to.”

A good misunderstanding

Brudda Jokka

...The misunderstanding is groan worthy. The scenes with Cordelia were fun though

Jesse Desire

Sorry to hear you didn't like it. I tried to keep it cute without getting too excessive.

Brudda Jokka

It's hard to wrap my head around the mental gymnastics it would have taken to come up with that one. Even more so since it's been a name associated with blonde wasp cheerleader types forever

Aeden Emrys

Thanks for another excellent chapter ☺️! A great chapter, first with some great "arguments" with Cordelia, and then a magnificent misunderstanding 😂 with Buffy 😍 (not that he knows that yet 😂!)! I'm really looking forward to seeing how this misunderstanding 😉 with Buffy will turn out 😁, so I can't wait to be reading the next great chapter 😁!

Buffy is gonna either fall into a bed with him or knock one of his teeth out

Your forgetting thr mc is British so buffy really does make one think of a buff man 🤣🤣🤣

Alfred Demonreach

Why not both. It would be on brand for buffy. She has the worst relationships
