Sam couldn’t say that he was happy with the food, or the fact that he was alone and waiting. Parker had disappeared half an hour ago after saying she would be gone for five minutes.

He would have left, but he didn’t have anything else to do. Unless he could go and drag Buffy from his class for a fight, he didn’t have any better options.

So, he focused on his food, counting the minutes.

A pity. The pseudo-date had been fun, though a bit weird. Since they arrived there early, they started by ordering coffee for the first hour, focusing on their talk. She was cute and earnest on their date, which would have compensated for how cold or chewy the food was.

Admittedly, her life story was boring. It wasn’t him being judgmental, but he let her talk, and all he was able to get was that she had two best friends, Willow and Xander, the former sharing a room with her while the latter worked as a carpenter around town.

He assumed it was boring because her high school life could be summarized as hanging out with her two best friends in the library, with no notable events; no hobbies, no sports. No wonder she reacted so enthusiastically when he flirted with her.

While her life might be boring, she was not. She was fun, smart, and enthusiastic enough that he was confident American men must have been even more stupid than he had realized by missing such a treasure.

It was why, after talking a bit, he focused the talk on her expectations of college rather than the past, which could be summarized as a fun but ordinary college life, with classes and clubs and hanging out with her friends.

She talked about it weirdly, as if it were a corner of heaven, impossible to attain.

Her family must have been really strict.

Her reaction to his touch was quite interesting as well. She showed very clear signs of arousal even before he applied any of his seductive moves, but she held herself back.

It was n interesting mix of hot and cold.

He had decided not to push her much with his usual Tantric tricks, even though he wanted to. She seemed too fragile, and he would leave tomorrow.

Unfortunately, that was when their little date derailed. “I need to do something. Do you mind waiting for me for five minutes?” she said, and the moment he nodded, she disappeared.

That was half an hour ago.

“Maybe I should leave,” he muttered, but instead, he ordered another coffee. A good thing, because he had just received his coffee, she returned, bursting in a hurry, panicked, only to relax when she saw him. “You’re still here,” she said, relieved.

“Well, I promised,” he said, and he also noticed that she had changed her previous shirt, instead wearing a blouse. One with a deeper cleavage. He had made a correct decision indeed… “What happened?

“I’m sorry. I had a little accident. An idiot spilled something on me,” she said.

The excuse was weak, but when she sat across from him with a flushed face and clear arousal, he didn’t challenge her excuse. Instead, he gave her a gentle smile.

She bit her lip, her gaze playful yet needy.

He managed to connect the dots. She must have felt a bit inadequate about her previous shirt and decided to buy a new one, only to lose the track of time while trying to pick her outfit.

Not exactly the best strategy to pull in the middle of the date, but she was clearly not very experienced with dating in general. Such mistakes were to be expected.

Well, who was he to argue about it? Especially when her new blouse worked even better as an apology.

“Sorry that I ate your food as well. We can order more,” he said, and caught her disappointment. “Or, we can pick a sandwich and you can eat while we drive around. The weather is amazing.”

“Definitely the second,” she replied. Two minutes later, they were in his car, driving toward the outskirts of Sunnydale. While he drove, he made sure to play with her wrist, driving her already burning arousal to overdrive. After all, she had returned with a new blouse, burning with arousal. What she wanted was clear.

She wanted a proper adventure.

"Can I ask you something?" she said, eventually.

"Go for it."

“You won’t stay in Sunnydale, will you?” she said.

“Likely not,” he admitted, not wanting to lie to her about such a thing. He wanted to seduce her, and he wasn’t above a little white lie, but promising to stay only to disappear was too much.

She had a vulnerability to her. He parked his car in a concealed spot and turned to her, respecting the sudden seriousness of the talk. “I didn’t even apply to Sunnydale U.C., and I have an irregular schedule due to my work. They might not even process my application.”

“Huh,” she said, looking hesitant. He expected her to look disappointed, but she kind of looked … relieved. “That’s good.”

He gave her a crooked smile. “Good? And here I was, thinking that I was pleasant company, and you can’t wait to kick me out.”

She blushed. “I didn’t mean it like that—“

“Calm down. Just kidding,” he teased. “I’m sure you have a good reason for saying that.”

She turned somber. “Yeah, I do. Let’s just say I have a complicated life, making anything long-lasting difficult. Something always happens, ruining whatever good thing I have in my life. And, if you’re going to leave, then it won’t turn into a mess. It’ll stay as a beautiful memory.” She took a deep breath. “And, I desperately need one.”

Sam studied her for a moment, the easy flirtation of the last few hours settling into something quieter. He didn’t understand exactly what was going on in her life, but he understood exactly what she wanted.

“As you wish, beautiful,” he whispered rather than using her name, because he realized he didn’t know whether Parker was her first name or last name, and he didn’t want to ruin the mood. “But, there’s only one problem.”

“What’s that?”

“I won’t give you a fun memory, but an amazing one,” he said, then leaned forward and captured her lips in a gentle kiss. She reacted as if it were a miracle, whimpering.

“Warm,” she whispered once he pulled back, as if he had just given her a miracle. A weird compliment, but he had already realized that her experience was next to nothing.

He kissed her again, but this time, he let his hands caress her body. Not aggressively, always waiting for her to respond first. He expected her to stay hesitant, which was why he was surprised when she climbed onto his lap almost immediately.

He was less surprised when she froze once she did, her inexperience rearing its head. He pulled back, giving her time to recover. “Sorry,” she whispered. “I … only once—“ she started.

He kissed her again to interrupt. Her only time was clearly a bad memory. “How about you let me take the lead? If you feel uncomfortable, just say purple.”

“Purple?” she said, confused.

“Yes, purple,” he said. “You have the power. The moment you say it, I’ll stop. You don’t have to fear suddenly getting physically overwhelmed.”

She giggled, more entertained than he had expected about the idea. Again, weird. “Thanks for making me feel powerful.”

He could have asked her why she found it so amusing, but when her hips started to move, he decided it wasn’t important. Instead, he focused on kissing her, starting with her lips before he lingered along her jaw. Then, he pulled her shirt aside to kiss her shoulder.

He would have kissed her neck as well, but she tensed when his lips approached her neck, so he didn’t push.

Luckily, her new blouse had buttons, which he popped easily, peppering her cleavage with kisses. She had no bra underneath, which was even sexier, but he didn’t surprise him. She abandoned their date for a change, after all.

He took her nipple between his lips, teasing while he slid his fingers through her beautiful blonde hair.

She whimpered. “Yes, more. Whatever the opposite of purple is,” she whispered, already in the mood. He had underestimated how horny she was.

He kissed her lips. “Let’s say green, but more is perfectly clear. Try not to use p-word unless necessary. It’s there for your comfort, and I’ll stop when you say it, regardless. Think of it as magic.”

She blushed. “I … fine.”

He kissed her again. She was just too cute, in a weak and fragile way.

After some kissing, he pushed his seat fully back, expecting to struggle a bit to remove her jeans, but it went surprisingly smoothly. She was shockingly flexible, and his newly acquired acrobatics allowed him to coordinate with her easily.

She did blush due to her boring panties. “Don’t look,” she said. He followed her request, letting her remove them while he didn’t look, which left her fully naked on his lap.

However, for all her hurry, she was very careful in her movements, as if she was the one afraid of hurting him.

His response was simple. He just kissed her gently while his fingers drifted down, teasing her clit, Tantric helping him to maintain the pace. He didn’t want her climaxing immediately, but he didn’t want to edge her for half an hour either.

Inevitably, she orgasmed.

“Yes, yes, yes,” she moaned as she trembled, the orgasm hitting her hard.

He kissed her hair while she recovered, though he did pity her a bit more. Buffy must be a true brute for the system to just accept his claim despite them not even dating. Ron had to be engaged to Hermione for it to register as a victory.

But, no wonder Buffy was feared. His reward was Unarmed Combat, while he was ranked as Main Character. Or, at least that made sense to a degree. He still had trouble understanding the System classifications.

“That was amazing,” she whispered.

“Just a start,” he responded. “This was just nice. I promised you spectacular. We will go until you’re exhausted.”

That made her laugh. “Me, exhausted.”

“I follow my promises,” he responded as he freed his shaft, but he didn’t push in. “Ride me,” he ordered instead.

She aligned herself carefully, and followed his request, slowly sliding. She clamped around him hard, her moan magnificent. He grabbed her hips when she paused, her body easily turned into a toy.

Initially, he was prepared to go slow, but her response of slamming her hips hard, hungry for more, changed his mind. He picked up speed, drilling her hard while he captured her nipple between his lips once again.

She was a beautiful collection of contradictions. Her body was perfect, smooth, and reactive, but whenever her mind caught on to what she was doing, she paused. He stretched her hard, and she just moaned. A whispered compliment about her gentle beauty, and she froze.

Though, a selfish part of him was glad for her endurance. It meant they could go for a long while, and while he wasn’t doing it for extra points, they were still very useful, especially for a vitally important skill like boxing.

His hands stayed on her waist, thumbs stroking her toned hips, struggling to contain his desire to spank them. She clearly wasn’t ready for it. However, they moved fast enough to rock the car steadily.

“Faster,” she begged.

He gave her what she wanted, his hips picking up speed in a way he might not have achieved without acrobatics.

As her arousal increased, he nibbled her breasts, making her moan harder. Though, evne in arousal, she was very passive. Instead of grabbing his shoulders, she grabbed the headrest.

“I’m close again,” she whispered, embarrassed. “That’s not fair for you, right—”

“Beautiful, don’t worry about what’s fair. This is your incredible memory; enjoy it.”

“Fine,” she whispered, and rose slightly, which allowed him to invade her even harder. She climaxed again. This time, however, her tightness coaxed him to explode in her.

“You did,” she whispered, but instead of panic, it was fascination.

“Yes.”

“It feels warm and gentle … full of life.”

He doubted she could feel it that much, but he let her enjoy the story. He kissed her instead.

“I thought we were going to go until I’m exhausted,” she whispered.

At this moment, he was glad for Tantric even more, because without it, this would have been his limit. After all, he had just driven here after a thirty-hour sex marathon with Cordelia, and his body had limits.

After a few pokes and rubs around his legs, he was raging hard once more.

“How about now, beautiful,” he whispered. “Still up for the challenge?”

“How about you?” she asked. “Any sudden evil thoughts?”

He was about to lean into that as a fantasy, but he remembered the clues about her bad experience. Her previous boyfriend probably did a full one-eighty after taking her virginity and acted like a raging asshole. “Nope,” he said, kissing her gently. “Just a desire to defeat your cute ass that dared to challenge me.”

She smiled widely, showing he had picked the right direction. “Well, I do have a cute ass.”

“The cutest,” he said. “Actually, let’s do it like this,” he said, lifting her easily, putting her in a reverse cowgirl position, which would give him even more operation range. “Lean forward. Hands on the dashboard.”

She followed, and raised her ass. He shifted as well, which gave him full control as he invaded, their hips colliding hard. As the sound exploded, so did their moans.

With her ass rippling under his assault, he tried to spank her, remembering why he was avoiding at the last second, but when it landed, she just moaned rather than panicking like he expected.

Curious, he spanked her again, and again. “Do you like it when I spank you like a naughty girl?” he whispered.

“Yes,” she responded.

“Good,” he said, realizing that she was not fragile despite her inexperience. “Don’t forget you can stop me,” he said, grabbing her hair.

“Yes, the p-word,” she replied, moaning even harder when he tugged her hair hard. He fucked her hard while her belly pressed against the wheel to pin her down, and she grabbed the edge of the glass for balance, her head peeking out of the open car top.

Then, another orgasm hit her, this time even harder.

“More,” she begged.

Poor Buffy, he thought, even as he continued to fuck the sexy blonde that poor guy had a crush on. Her third climax, yet she was already raring to go, not showing any hint of exhaustion.

A fascinating detail combined with her relative lack of experience.

“Yes, beautiful. Just like that, move those hips,” Sam ordered, his hands behind his head, watching her with a satisfied grin. How could he not, when they had been going for hours, and she was just getting more passionate?

She must be a fitness nut for her to continue without slowing down much, especially since it had been a few hours since they started, the outside already dark, with hunger slowly becoming unbearable. Yet, she turned out to be just as competitive as him, not surrendering.

He was happy with the situation. Her body undulated as she rode him in the backseat, whatever hesitance she had about taking initiative long gone. Watching her breasts dance was amazing … almost as good as the rewards he had collected in the process.

It was only a pity that the temporary limit had been hit, or the rewards would have been even greater.

[Boxing Advanced -> Expert]

[Boxing - Expert 28/1000]

He owed that Buffy guy a gift. Maybe a car or something?

Parker continued to ride him desperately, driving for more. The dance of her breasts was hypnotic, enough to make him ignore a nagging feeling in the back of his mind.

He was forgetting something. Something important—

A fact he remembered when he heard a distinct, nasal voice. “Who ordered takeout, boys?” a voice said. He raised his head, only to see vampires surrounding the car. Six of them, their demon faces already on display.

It was then that he remembered. He wasn’t supposed to be out after dark in Sunnydale. The city was infested. Apparently, that infestation was even more serious than he expected … or he was very, very unlucky.

He immediately pushed her off his lap, and rolled out of the car, unfortunately naked, his fists raised while looking for a stick, which he saw near, one benefit of being in the wilderness. Only then did he realize his reaction was stupid. He should have jumped into the driver’s seat and drove away rather than trying to jump.

It was a side effect of his boxing skill, he realized. Expert level meant he was much better. It was human tendency to reach for the most proficient tool rather than the most fitting. “Parker, use the latch near the wheel and open the trunk,” he shouted.

“What. I—“

“No time. Please, this is an emergency,” he shouted as he grabbed the nearest branch, a benefit of being in the wilderness, and turned to the vampires.

Unfortunately, she had yet to open the trunk. From the corner of his eye, he saw her dressing while concealing herself instead. Horrible priorities, but he couldn’t blame her.

She wasn’t a fighter, so her reaction was normal. Maybe she didn’t even realize that they weren’t facing just a few bored college guys wearing masks, but real vampires.

He decided the best way to save her was to distract the vampires until she could open the trunk, and grab the holy water.

He used the same haymaker and stabbing stick combo on the first vampire. They were laughing at him swinging his fist, so they completely missed the threat of the left, the broken branch jabbing into the chest of the first one.

It also allowed him to test the difference between Advanced and Expert Boxing … luckily, it was very significant.

Unfortunately, while the first vampire went down easily, the others turned serious immediately. He was sure the same tactic wouldn’t work. Vampires were arrogant, but they were not stupid.

“What happened, ugly faces, scared yet? One down already,” he taunted, and when one of them lunged, he rolled under the attack, using his recently acquired acrobatics to use. It was painful to roll on the ground naked, but being killed by vampires would hurt more.

Probably.

They swallowed the bait, chasing him. For the next minute, he ran, rolled, and tumbled, pushing his body to the limit, his focus fully on the five of them.

As he dodged, he noticed another benefit from a skill he hadn’t used before. Magical Combat. It was useless in one-on-one combat, but against a bigger group, it allowed him to maintain awareness and dodge so that they got into each other’s way. Unfortunately, it was very limited assistance.

Ultimately, the thing that kept him alive was their incompetence. If they had known even the most basic way to move as a squad, he would have died. Yet, their physical advantages were intense enough that he didn’t risk another lethal hit, waiting for Parker to open the trunk and reveal the holy water.

It would have solved the situation.

Unfortunately, when he glanced toward the car, he saw Parker, dressed once more, but frozen as she watched. He wanted to shout at her, but he was afraid the vampires would react faster.

He decided on another tactic. Drag the vampires in a large circle, and see if he could get in the car. Unfortunately, vampires proved that they were merely arrogant rather than stupid. “He’s trying to delay us, kill the girl first —“ one of them declared.

And turned to dust.

He turned, only to see Parker had thrown a broken branch with uncanny accuracy. Amazing. While the vampires had been distracted, he lashed forward, taking down another. That made the vampires panic and attack him, and he dodged. Avoiding three vampires was much easier than avoiding five.

Vampire’s arrogance cost them. Their numbers had already dwindled to three, so they panicked. Parker dusted another with a second branch, and he took two more, his Expert Boxing proving very useful once their numbers twindled.

Still, a victory was a victory.

[Supernatural Fight, Victory, +4 Boxing]

The system seemed to disagree, though. He was surprised by how few points he had gotten. Maybe the system rated Expert Boxing that much higher, or the addition of Acrobatics changed the aritmetic. But, these thoughts were for the future.

He walked toward Parker instead. Despite her shockingly amazing performance, she seemed to be frozen. It meant, he had to talk to her to calm down.

He hoped she was willing to listen without panicking while helped him with cleaning the scratches.

Goody.

I guess he was a little too distracted to read her name lol

Jesse Desire

He's thinking it's an indirect reward just like how Hermione also grainted Ron reward, but without a special reward of her own.

Alfred Demonreach

You are way to amused writing this misunderstanding. Did you read some JP romance manga recently lol

Aeden Emrys

What 😂 an excellent continuation and development of his misunderstanding! But there is one thing I am now thinking 🤔 about, which is the fact that he did not use protection and with Buffy's experience, I would very much doubt that she is on the pill nor that she will think about it after the interruption at the chapter's end? So will she be finding out after awhile that she has a little one on the way? It would certainly be interesting and it could maybe be something Buffy would come to be happy about, as having a child is normal, after she calm down from the surprise! Okay, that's enough speculation from me! Thanks for your great work on this great chapter! I'm going to go read the next available chapter right now!

Personally it makes more sense to have boxing merge into unarmed combat rather than unarmed combat merge into boxing. Unarmed combat is a very big umbrella and therefore makes sense for boxing to be the one replaced. A case of “all boxing is unarmed combat, not all unarmed combat is boxing”. And it would be more useful later because, as you pointed out earlier in the story, boxing is inherently bad for self defense when compared to other forms of unarmed combat

Jesse Desire

Yes, but that assumes at the same level unarmed combat and boxing is equal when restricted to boxing rules. It's not, it's more specialized. Our MC still hasn't figured out all the kinks of the system.

Not

Fair, I thought of that too and just figured you could reduce it back down to like basic in skill level or maybe treat boxing as a sub-skill of the main skill like some other system stories have. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter, I read your stories because I like the writing not because I was particularly looking for a litrpg

DarkestCalling

Feels pretty meh to fold an umbrella of combat into an almost 2D in comparison sport fighting skill 50 unarmed for 50 boxing is a ripoff Also Buffy is the slayer why is she giving unarmed combat not saying she isn't a great unarmed fighter but shes more of an armed fighter almost every monster she has to kill requires one She's the slayer which is basically combat yes as the powerset

Windfury

No.. the misunderstanding was kinda funny at first.. but a whole date without her saying her name once, or even introducing herself stretches imagination. But the final kicker is the system and him somehow carrying a whole load of idiot balls and somehow not placing it with the person he was with and to someone else had me facepalming every single time.. it was beyond ridiculous. Even to begin with Buffy is a known nickname (originally) for girls and somehow transposing Parker and Buffy was strange but kinda funny so OK, but it should've been killed off during the date, not gone this whole time, I know Sam's not the brightest bulb but come on...
