“I hate you,” Georgina grumbled as she hugged him, wet hair sticking to her face, the tiny excuse of a swimsuit doing even less now that it was wet. Alex didn’t say nothing, but her growl of protest carried the same message. Also, she hugged him from the other side, because in the chilly lake water, he was the warmest source.

An underrated benefit of Endurance.

“Really?” he asked teasingly, because her hands disagreed with her words a lot.

“You’re a menace,” Alex commented. “This is a housewarming. They do not freeze their guests.”

“Well, I should keep you warm as a proper host then,” he said as he tightened his arm, the location of his hand leaving no mystery about what was about to happen.

“First, let’s get rid of your clothes. Who jumps into a lake fully clothed?” Georgina complained.

“Well, I was distracted by the view,” he teased. While Georgina got rid of his shirt, Alex removed his jeans and boxers. Naughty.

He felt their bodies press against his once more, their hands exploring his body. “Much better,” Georgina murmured. “Still freezing everywhere you aren’t.”

“Then I should work harder,” he said, his hands helping their bodies stay warm … mostly.

Alex kissed him while Georgina clamped on his neck. She started by the throat, then went fully underwater, kissing his chest, then his abs, before her lips found his erection, giving him an excellent underwater blowjob.

“Sexy, right?” he asked Alex as they looked down, the perfect clarity of the water giving them a good view of what was happening, the distortion of the water giving it a magical look.

“She’s a slutty mermaid,” Alex commented, impressed and teasing at the same time.

“Unlike you, cosplaying as a slutty art dealer,” he teased. “Did you ever realize how your top failed when you waved your arms?”

Her blush was cute. “It did?”

“Yep. I had been tempted to record it. The debate would have fueled the art enthusiasm all around the world as long as it came with video—“

“Shut up,” Alex said, interrupting him with another kiss.

Then, Georgina returned to surface, and the first thing was to tug the strings of Alex’s top, removing it completely. “Alright, nerd. Your turn,” she teased. “Unless you can’t do it, of course.”

“As if,” Alex snorted, took a deep breath, and dove. Her competitiveness was as strong as always. Admittedly, Georgina was not much better, and soon, they started alternating to give him a fun underwater blowjob, and he teased whoever was resting.

However, he decided to hasten things. It was fun, but he could feel that they wouldn’t stay long in the chilly water. Instead, he grabbed Georgina and slipped inside her from behind.

She wasn’t able to moan, because Alex kissed her at the same time, their hands exploring each other’s naked bodies. The angle let him sink deep on the first stroke, and Alex stayed in front of her, kissing and rubbing her clit, determined to give Georgina an explosive climax.

It was as if they were competing even now. He could feel that introducing the two of them was either his best idea, or his worst. Alex continued to kiss Georgina while he fucked her, his thrusts pushing her halfway out of the water.

It didn’t take long for Georgina to climax. When she pulled back, Alex was more than happy to take her place, taking his whole length, but her cries rose unbidden, because Georgina was too busy kissing her amazing breasts to help her contain her moans.

He didn’t blame Georgina. Alex’s breasts were amazing enough to be registered as a wonder. He set the pace hard. It was fun, but the lake was too cold.

Alex came with an explosive moan, shaking hard enough that he had to hold her up as he exploded inside her.

“Alright,” Georgina said as she dragged Alex into a hug. “It was fun, but we’re not freaks of nature like you. Let’s leave.”

He let them go. “Go ahead. I’ll swim a bit more before I join,” he said, and dove deep, burying himself deep into the lake, enjoying its great expanse. It was fun to explore his new home, especially the area that still fell under his estate, filled with a surprisingly dense amount of fish, some pretty, others delicious.

He made a point to catch a few of the large trout by hand, his Agility making it possible.

Once done, he finally took a step into his new home, looking around, happy with the general decoration, which straddled the line between modern and rustic just like his vague mental command had required.

There were many smaller details to be handled like hanging pictures on the walls and moving some furniture around for better effect, but overall, he was very happy with the room’s performance.

Though, it didn’t matter how amazing the room was. It could never be rivaled by the centerpiece. A large, roaring fireplace, and in front of it, Alex and Georgina, both wearing lingerie, the flicker of the fire illuminating them.

Amusingly, they were too lost in their debate, not even noticing his arrival. "That's exactly my point," Alex argued, gesturing with her glass filled with red wine. “The Impressionists weren't painting light, they were painting perception, which is a fundamentally different approach from a neuroscience perspective, playing with pre-construction function of our memories…"

"That’s a terrible way to look at it," Georgina complained. "No wonder you’re a fan of those French hacks. Impressionism could never rival cubism in terms of impact…"

He smiled as he avoided them, instead moving to the kitchen, where he found another nice surprise. It was the largest kitchen he had ever been in, filled with the top of the line appliances, high-quality knives, and a pizza oven, a large pasta makers, and even a nice smoker that connected to a chimney to be useful.

He didn’t prepare anything extreme, just a nice grilled fish, spiced to perfection, and a few simpler, supporting dishes, all that could be easily consumed while lazing around in front of a fireplace.

While they cooked, he went upstairs to take a quick shower, then put on shorts and nothing else to fit their general fashion preferences, and returned to the main hall.

The smell finally pulled them out of their debate. “What’s that?” Alex said, shifting.

“Fish, I caught myself,” he said even as he lay between them. “Since you wanted to enjoy the fireplace, I prepared fitting food. It’s basically camping,” he teased.

“Yeah, right,” Alex said, while Georgina nodded. For her, anyplace that wasn’t in a major city was camping.

He chuckled at their conflicting responses, but he set the tray down. “So, you were talking about art. Don’t let me hold you,” he said.

“Fine, but only if you help settle our argument,” Georgina said. “Convince her that impressionism is a style for hacks and overblown French. If she talks about Dagas anymore, I might as well go and befriend Blair.”

Alex laughed. “Maybe I should. At least she seems to have a passable taste in arts. Also, do you expect a man who had just painted a fascinating impressionist work to degrade the same movement?”

Georgina smirked, her hand sliding into his shorts. “I’m sure I can convince him.”

Alex responded in kind. “Like you are the only one that can use that technique.”

He chuckled, once again realizing introducing the two had been a good idea. Though he was also glad to wait until Berta had smoothed over some of her biggest issues. He couldn’t even imagine what the two of them would do to each other otherwise.

Despite their teasing, the situation didn’t escalate immediately. The food was still warm and smelled delicious. Their hands were busy, so he fed them by hand, and soon, they rested their heads on his naked chest.

It was a surprisingly wholesome moment, especially considering he was getting a double-handjob in the process.

Though, wholesome didn’t mean it was calm. Both Alex and Georgina could be surprisingly argumentative, and soon, it restarted. It helped that their approach contrasted greatly. Alex knew a lot about art, but ultimately, she was not an artistic person, at least not in the way it was classically understood, always grounding her perspective on unexpected scientific principles from geometry to neuroscience.

Meanwhile, Georgina was the exact opposite. Under her jaded and sarcastic exterior lay a romantic, only weighted by the trappings of her privileged but emotionally barren upbringing. That applied to her perspective about art as well. A fan of expressionism and cubism, searching for meaning in a complicated structure.

Yet, even as the debate itself was aggressive, their friendship seemed to settle as well.

So, instead of trying to change their attitude, he let them hug him when they ended up chatting about their childhood, sharing sad stories, their arms wrapped around his chest for comfort.

He was happy to stay there and be the world’s most muscular teddy bear while they talked, finding a surprising friendship in each other. Alex had grown up feeling isolated because of her own intelligence making it difficult for her to truly connect with others, always making her feel isolated. For Georgina, it was her rebellion, trying to get warmth from a family that was incapable of it.

Ultimately, despite the different roots and impacts, it resulted in a surprisingly similar picture.

They haven’t done anything else but chat while watching the flames rage, and as the flames turned to embers, they fell asleep on his chest.

He hugged and fell asleep as well, enjoying the tender moment.

He only needed to spend a few days in his new farmhouse alone to realize just how good of an idea to get a place away from everything.

It wasn’t that he disliked the people in his life, but the comfort of the solitude was underrated. It was why once he had driven Alex and Georgina back to Los Angeles; he avoided contacting anyone else, not even answering his phone unless it was an emergency.

The first two days, he didn’t do anything, just walked around, exploring his new land, doing some menial work whenever the opportunity presented itself. Then, the third day, he pushed himself, truly pushed himself, running, climbing, lifting weights, shooting, and doing whatever else he thought.

It was his private Olympics, and ironically, he had broken quite a few Olympic records across many disciplines. It was a fun feeling, but he found himself drifting toward painting more than anything.

Exploring something without a skill to guide him was a fun experience for him. He started with focusing on impressionism, but slowly expanded to cubist and abstract works, exploring just how far he could push without the guidance of familiar real-world shapes.

Sometimes, he drew the natural world. Other times, he picked challenges like intentionally limiting himself to yellow and black, trying to push the boundaries of pure geometry and his brush technique.

It was fun.

Sometimes, he picked a project, like renovating an empty standalone building into an independent studio. He could have used the System, but once again, he decided sometimes a personal touch was more useful, and what better way to do that than photography.

That wasn’t the only thing he played. He didn’t use the social media backend reward, but instead, he sat down and designed one from scratch. It was much more fun, putting together a prototype by himself.

Especially since he wasn’t merely trying to copy one of the future’s popular websites, but actually trying to build one. His challenge, to create one that actually enhanced the communication between friends rather than taking over their communication by algorithmic slop.

It had been a fun challenge, one that actually challenged him even with every advantage he had. Though, pushing his current Programming skill to the limit and further was certainly fun.

Soon, he had a prototype, one that was clunky to use, with an equally clunky backend, but considering it took three days for him to code it from scratch, alone, it was still a monumental achievement.

He could have pushed it further and turned it into a viable business, but he decided to leave it at that, at least for the moment. The initial build was a fun challenge, a commercial business plan, and optimizing it for the average user, less so.

After that, he started testing other things. He finally used his Calligraphy skills to create a few interesting decorative items, which could also be used as gifts. He designed a dance number for a movie that didn’t exist.

He even composed a full symphony … which was, admittedly, terrible, but there was a certain fun in creating something terrible as well.

Then, after ten days of solitude, he drove back to Los Angeles. Alone time was fun, but he felt recharged.

He was ready for some more fun again.
