Hi Everyone, I've seen a lot of the same questions about what December and 2026 look like so here's a list of things to be aware of.

First, our live stream class is this week. It will be Friday December 12th at 10am MST. This topic class will go over the highly requested subject of how to scale up your paintings from tiny to large. I can't wait to dive into this with you!

There are 3 more tiny paintings for the rest of the year (wow!). Once those are finished next Tuesday, we will start our "year end project". More information to come next week.

The second live class for the month will be merged into the "final project" videos since meeting live the last few weeks of December is tricky, but what I have planned I think you'll love!

For those asking: the 2025 tiny painting series will not be leaving patreon. You will be able to access all 100 videos on the collections tab at any time as long as you're a member. No stress about completing before 2026! You could even join us with the new 2026 series and jump back to 2025 if you need more to work on, whatever you prefer.

Looking forward into 2026 and January

For those that might have missed the announcement, in 2026 we will be doing another 100 tiny paintings! This coming year we will have a monthly topic that we focus all the paintings around so that we can paint tiny while improving our skills. For more info, check out that 2026 announcement post here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/looking-ahead-in-143966152?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

At the end of December I will put out a list of supplies and materials you will need for the coming year (not much different than what we use now).

January is "wet into wet and water control". On January 1st we will have a live class discussing the topic, going over the basics of the technique and I will give you ideas for practice in your sketchbook to prep for the upcoming tiny paintings.

This class will be Jan 1st at 11am MST. I will post a reminder about this as we get closer.

Then for the month of January, tiny paintings will release every Tuesday and Friday, just as they have this year, but now focused on that specific month's topic.

I hope this clears up a lot and helps us all be on the same page. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

❤️Kristin

Thank you! For those of us traveling for the holidays, could you share anything we may need to add to our travel kits for the Jan 1 class pls?

Terri Benyon

Thank you Kristin. I will hopefully make Fridays live class. Life got in the way and I am 15 tiny paintings and many live classes behind. So having them available is wonderful and takes the stress off as I decided to try to start with the current and work backwards to catch up. I'm excited to see what our "year end project is" You have truly been an inspiration and a blessing to all of us in your group. I can't wait to learn more from you in 2026. Enjoy your holidays.

Claire

Wow. I can't wait 😍😍

I have to say - I'm officially obsessed with watercolor. Though still don't feel that ready to go off-piste. 😂

I will finish my 100 paintings right along with you and loved each week. This kept me motivated and I learned so much. I am looking forward to 2026 and think your plan is wonderful. Thank you so much. I wish you and your family a blessed holiday season. Warmly Cathy Bielen Ps I put all my paintings in a journal and its wonderful. I painted on arches paper with the letter sparrow paints. I loved learning on to mix paint with more confidence.

Jade Winfree

Hello! Congratulations! Just curious, what kind of journal did you use? I was thinking about how to keep them all together next year.
