Starfish for #33! There is so much dry brush texture in this painting! Be mindful of your light areas as you build up the water foam, slowly build it up and start as light as you can. For the sand, use wet into wet and have fun with the different textures an movements you can create. I decided to do less dry brush on the sand than I had planned, so that the texture on the starfish could really shine. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - cad yellow, cad red, and ultramarine blue.

Brushes: round 4 & 10 Princeton

Your painting came out so good and you can see that it is foam on the edge too. The shadows bring it to life too 🤗
