Tea cup for #50! Can you believe we are half way through?! The goal of this painting is to paint everything around the teacup and the teacup shadows so that the teacup comes to life on its own. You can paint the background however you want if you're not interested in wet into wet and you can have fun with different designs on the tablecloth and cup. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - cad yellow, perm. rose and ultramarine blue.

Brushes: round 4 & 10 - Princeton

Do you wet down your paints prior to getting started? I just joined and maybe I’ve missed this step.

Really so pretty and the shadows bring out the shape so well. It is such a help when you have the photo of what you are painting makes it so much easier to follow and see exactly where you are going with the paint. Thank you so much have a great day too 🤗
