Cheetah fur for 64! The beginning goes a little quick getting just the right blends in the vertical variegated wash, but then the spots are so much more free and relaxing! Check out the reference photos below to get an idea of the spot patterns I was going for. The idea is that you can practice this pattern to create cheetah prints on anything and even upgrade to painting a cheetah if you like. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - Cad yellow, cad red and indigo.

Brushes: round 4 & 10 - Princeton

Leopards are the ones that have the circle of spots around another color. Similar looking to a Cheetah with that distinct variation.
