First off congratulations - I think you are meant to raise your children in that home ❤️. Will you now do your audio in the painting room? Ever since you had shared that you do the audio in a closet I can’t help but envision you closed in a small closet doing this🤣. Thank you for sharing your time and talent!

Kristin Van Leuven

haha yes! I have been recording in my new studio, mostly thanks to getting a better mic. I thought my mic before was good, but the one I have now blocks every other noise out so well! No more squatting in my closet hahaha. Thanks so much for the kind words about the home, we feel the same way!

Susan

Love embracing the moment and putting brush to paper! You always make watercolor fun and relaxing Also so happy you get to be in a space that is so meaningful to you.

Kels

TY for also posting to Patreon!

Mary Kay

Love the looseness of this painting!

ellen lekatz

I hope to paint like this someday!

Paula Albright

Congrats to you & your family. This is such a cute little painting. I love everything you do! & I made sure to like on YouTube as well:)

Loretta Hulley

Loved this painting! Many congratulations with your new family home.

Sarah Brace

I love that you are back here - I fully enjoy the Patreon classes and yet I also often go back to early YouTube tutorials to revisit favorites (your holiday card series is always a winner for me). Thank you again for all your courses and congrats on the big move!

Robyn McKenzie

Blessings to you and your family in your new home…and, also, thanks for the lovely tutorial!

Rona Castillo

Congratulations!!!!! So happy for you

Also Congratulations.from me. Family connections are so precious. I have a request can you turn your mic up louder. I have tried my lap top and my ipad but have a terrible time trying to hear you. I have reached the top of the volume and even added a little speaker but still lose a lot of your voice over. Thanks so much for your consideration.

marielle

So it's not just me! I'm noticing the same, since the move the volume on my laptop needs to be cranked to the top and it's still VERY quiet. For comparison I played this one both on Patreon and on YouTube at the same volume, and while the YouTube volume was normal, while the Patreon one was very faint. Maybe the solution is to always watch on YouTube?

marielle

Congrats on the move, sounds wonderful for you and your family. I loved painting this one and would really enjoy more fifteen-minute paintings!

Kristin Van Leuven

That’s so weird! So on YouTube the volume was normal? I didn’t do anything to the settings to either but it’s good to know I might need to make an adjustment for Patreon videos. Is it all the new videos?

Johanna

Love love this type of painting. Would like to see more of this style! You make it look so effortlessly beautiful! Thank you 😊

marielle

It's definitely only on Patreon, which I didn't realize until you posted the same one on YouTube. I actually went back and listened to older videos and the issue seems to have started after #39, if that helps narrow it down.

Jen

Watching you turn the little tan blobs into the beautiful little seen was amazing. Adding those layers, values, depth. 😍

marielle

Also, for the livestream today I experimented with playback both on Patreon and YouTube, and the volume was super low on both when it was live as well as during playback later. I had to crank the volume up to the max.

Kristin Van Leuven

So weird! I turned up the volume on the microphone and I was worried it was too loud when I listened to the playback 😅

So helpful! I have been miserable b/c all my painting lately has been 🤮 - hot, sweaty painting space. Just ugh. I loved, loved, loved this quickie! No muss, no fuss and I feel so happy! TY 👍🏻
