Lovebirds for #74! I love lovebirds and they are super common where I live. They provide a fun way to use our blending technique to get the colorful transition from red/pink to bright green. This one is super straight forward, but it took me a while to get the sketch right at the beginning. I actually used this tutorial: https://youtu.be/Hm_oHENIIVE?si=fMfIzxWKRInaFom4 to help me get the right proportions before I started painting. Have fun with the extra details and feel free to do what you want with your background. I can't wait to see how you do with this one. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette. All colors are Winsor and Newton, except the manganese is Holbein - cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, manganese, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - lemon yellow, cad red and manganese (Holbein).

Brushes: round 4 & 10 - Princeton
