Ethan Armstrong

Was just about to start painting some minis, perfect timing!

Anthony DiClementi

I am about to start my road trip to meet my niece. What perfect timing!

Meapyboy1234567

Wooooaaaahhhhh just in time for me to fall asleep to this.

Nils

It’s gonna be a spicy episode

sbingus

Yippee more pathfinder

Mads Ammitzbøll

Good catch from Emily on widen spell costing an action!

Zanna

damn, Krudbert is fully yandere

Kitt

I adore Cinnamon

Emmet Broaders

I love how much fun all of them are having in this. Pathfinder 10 shot please ❤️

Jamie Matthews

Cinnamon being slightly older and becoming the de factor leader (that his companions are desperate to please) has a distinct middle school friendship energy that I'm obsessed with

atlasrising

I love when the gang finds their trio groove so quickly😂 Love the Twin Flame Family, let's hope the bloody brothers and their spicy dad have many more adventures ❤️

Eons Abroad

I swear Duncle can't run a game without all the party members yielding to one member. Not complaining cuz it's always funny and it makes sense seeing how sigma Jenns and Cinnamon are.

rosebramblewolf

Just two idiots, their dad, and his weird shrew on a quest to better their community and afford ad free music ❤️

Kidtruck91

We need more than a two shot

Nick Neverman

I hope I’m not the only one who had an absolutely visceral reaction to the title “Guncle”

ananarama

Absolutely loved this! I hope this continues after the 2 shot

Jon

Emily is killing me with the voice, and crushing the dad jokes

Stacie

This two-shot was so fun! I hope we see these goofball characters again

Sand Panda

Well heck, now I want to get the new pathfinder book and read into it.

Michael

The sound design this ep is *chef's kiss*

ASHNRider

No fucking way basket case dropped. Insane. Beautiful

tacticalgrandma

Petition that whenever you guys do a non-dnd system, replace the “Another” in NADDPOD with “A”

E. Beer

Out of curiosity, when you say 'very narrow prescribed play pattern', could you expand on that? As someone who enjoys pathfinder 2e and finds it very freeing in a lot of ways, I am super curious on this perspective!!

GintokiShids

Cinnamon is truly the greatest wizard in the universe

Chase

I'd recommend giving the game a try if you're interested - helping out your team with bonuses and penalties to enemies is definitely a thing but it has a ton more going on than that. Pf2e does an awesome job of aligning flavor and mechanics and really making you feel like the class that you're playing in a way that I don't think 5e achieves

James Cherenzia

Sometimes a family is 3 people who just met a couple hours ago, and I think that's just beautiful

Adam!!!!!

one of my favorite things about the 2-crew is their love for the found family trope. another one of my favorite things about the 2-crew is whenever duncle dms that troupe gets cranked up to 500

Liu

Such a fantastic two shot!! Cant wait to see what else is in store 🥳🥳🥳

Chase

Yeah I mean I just don't think that first impression is accurate. One of the things I like best about the game is that there isn't a "correct" strategy in any given situation. As a player on any given turn I've got like 2 or 3 things I'd like to be doing but not enough actions for all of them, and I have to prioritize what I want. There's almost never an obvious, must-pick, best course of action. This is especially true in harder fights. It makes the game feel very dynamic. But also, it's just a game, it's not a big deal if you aren't interested in trying it out. However, I do think it's super fun and the beginner box is great and a super low investment entry point.

GintokiShids

Strangely, he was definitely giving Ron Stampler energy

Chase

I love the reaction to the dragon fight, Emily's completely flat "I feel like you're different than us". It's kind of a ridiculously overtuned fight for the beginner box honestly but it really cements that dragons are insanely badass in pathfinder. My reaction to fighting a dragon in 5e was always "awesome let's kick this things ass". Anytime a dragon pops up in pathfinder is an absolute "oh shit" moment

Mads Ammitzbøll

1st rank heal heals 1d8 with 1action or as a 30' foot emanation as a 3 action. If you use 2actions the healing increases by 8. The +8 healing does not apply to the 3action version

Ian Capper

“he who controls the spice controls the universe” — Cinnamon

tiger

after harmony is one dating system, eharmony is the other

ToobaPhish

God I hope we get more of the Twin Flames

Glenn D AKA Mcdoogins

Awesome as usual! It would be cool if they did an anime style side game.

William Holland

I need the Dragon and Cinnamon final dual to be a cinematic. Absolutely hilarious and epic.

muchpatreoning

I like how you changed the basic Beginner Box. It's much more interesting this way, great job, Caldwell!

James Dolezal

Loved hearing the crew play Pathfinder! I really hope to hear more from these amazing characters

Daniel Anderson

Great episode!!! Very fun listening to you guys claw your way through the fight that TPKed my Beginner Box party (with only 1 hp left!)

Felix

This was so good, I love these characters and their dynamic. I hope you guys do more pathfinder in the future.

Felix

From what I heard from this episode, it just feels deeper and more immersive. Flanking enemies and taking cover adds more life to the combat in my opinion.

Mortimer Lunch

I enjoy Pathfinder. These eps made me realize that I really do not enjoy listening to Pathfinder combat. Props to the 2 Crew for managing to make it funny and Duncle Caldwell for always being down to clown. I love that they're having fun and trying something new.

SweetBabyJ

Awesome job with this 2 shot, I hope this means we’ll be in for more pathfinder in the future!!!

Mikeroscopic

Lol Murph is letting the Jersey show with “Down the shore” and novelty t-shirt talk.

Justin Cockrell

I played in a 5e game where I tried to break my character for healing because everyone always tries to break it for damage or some niche thing.. and man I never even got close to what I heard in this lol

Mortimer Lunch

Exactly how it feels! It’s great for a 2 shot run by Caldwell but in a high stakes battle or long running story I worry it would drag pretty hard. Regardless, I’d be down to hear them play other TTRPGs so hopefully this opens the door for more!

Lia

Murph not breaking voice/character while reminding that they knew about the trap felt like an Into the Woods moment

Caitlin Sales

insane shuffle pull at the end. phenomenal. this was so fucking funny

Chase

I had the opposite reaction - I'm not sure I've ever been on the edge of my seat listening to naddpod as much as I was with the dragon fight.

Mortimer Lunch

Just depends on what you listen to actual plays for. I listen for story and goofs. Could not care less about flanking or crunchy tactics. I love planning and plotting with my friends when I *play* PF, but I don’t really care about it on a comedy podcast. That’s partially due to the ADHD brain getting distracted and then having to figure out where I stopped listening. Ultimately we all listen because it’s Murph, Emily, Caldwell, and Jake. If they’re having fun and enjoying themselves, we’ll all likely have fun. These were bomb ass characters and Caldwell letting them run with their shenanigans made this episode fantastic. I also don’t think you need to defend Pathfinder, the community just has varying opinions on the mechanics and I’m sure Murph/Caldwell will streamline things to improve it for everyone should they do it again.

Jacob K

I love that Cinnamon had his own “Leroy Jenkins” moment!! 😂😂😂

jbyrd

Also a Tic Tok the sorcerer moment

Jody

I think we discovered Murph is not capable of playing NICE and little dude at the same time. Lol he likes to razz too much!

Blaize Gordon

Murph always makes the most polarizing characters, no offense to cinnamon and that lowly Jeff guy

Michael Singer

I’d pay for a patreon tier of just cinnamon listing off more spice related crimes

Julie LeCave

Life really does imitate art because in my REAL LIFE for FIVE YEARS I was a mascot for a minor league baseball team in Dayton Ohio, called the DRAGONS. But unfortunately my name was not cinnamon jr, it was Heater. I have changed my Patreon picture to show what it looked like. I was listening to this while drinking and did a real life spit take.

The Fun Yaunt

Something about Caldwell DMing makes Murph, Emily, and Jake create aggressively competitive characters claiming to be related and I love it.

Robert

Ideal party: Murph as Crudbert, Jake as Mavid, Caldwell as Crissy, and Emily as Moonshine trying to hold them all together.

Alex Herndon

“You’re too far away for foreheads!” Great Cinnamon line

J.I.

The outro song to Basketcase is *chef's kiss*

Bailey Hull

Cinnamon using the disguise self hat to turn into his dad and tell him that he loves him was unreal holy hell

Julie LeCave

PS, I had to be the boy dragon because I was too tall to be the girl dragon

Austin Wiggin

A rose for @29:00, when hellbiscuit flanks with Crudeburt and learns the power of friendship

Jake

I could listen to an entire podcast of Cinnamon just talking to himself as he goes through the day.

Tom Bruynell

I vote all future pathfinder episodes should end with basket case replacing youth of the nation

Isaac Wright

I was truly hoping we’d finally get a TPK on Naddpod. Always a happy ending is nice but just once I thought we had it when Cinnamon charged at that Dragon.. Oh well, still awesome as always.

Timothy Lejeune

I NEED more of this campaign please. I am showing it to all my friends and family AS WE SPEAK

Nichole

I loved this Pathfinder two-shot! I've been playing in a Pathfinder game for about a year, we started with the beginner box and continued with the Abomination Vaults adventure path, and it's been a blast. I'm looking forward to hopefully hearing some more Pathfinder content from y'all in the future!

Slappy Dave

Great two shot! I enjoy when you guys try out different things Have you guys considered doing a Monster of the Week game as a mixed bag? It's low prep, high improv theater of the mind which would be perfect for you guys as a goofy break from DND The big thing with MOTW is that world building is a group activity in this game which Emily already does with Murph DMing anyway lol

Professor Pratt

He was actually reading Moby’s Dick in the porn hole.

Dean Barr

Just something for the future as it caught me out. When your running with 3 players sometimes you need to apply the weak template for some boss monsters. Usually just lowers a few numbers to stop those crits being so devastating as they usually get balanced for 4 players. You can find it on archives of nethys. Loved the episodes. They were a great birthday treat and I hope you all like pathfinder enough to make more content with it.

Rachel the Freckled ADHDer

I've listened to this mini-campaign twice and I have cracked up CONSTANTLY both times. It is beyond hilarious. Every listen, I hear a new line I missed before that is pure comedy gold.

Melon Bread

I faced a similar fight in a different Pathfinder campaign, which basically ended in a TPK but only one player died due to some great maneuvering on the part of our DM. I think it really showcases the necessity of saving throws, as the only spellcaster I was pretty much the only one scoring any damage due to being able to target an animal's relatively minimal WIS saves. Pathfinder doesn't mess around with giant snakes and dragons; they really said animal rights.

RottingLizard

lol I love every time Caldwell refers to himself as Gunkle. In my life, gunkle just means your gay uncle 😂😂

Nia R

I’m listening to this again and this two shot has me rolling around laughing every time 😂😂😂

dryptid

was so cinnamon-matic when they finally could pay for the ad-free music cantrip and they all sang green day

Tiffany

This was perfect

Faith Huisman

Cinnamon putting on the disguise hat and then talking to himself as his father absolutely took me out.

Lauren

Emily was absolutely the star of this two shot, I would give anything for them to play pathfinder again

Dreampie

Ive listened to every episode of Skaldova, Trinyvale, and Bahumia- Cinnamon is Emily's best character by far!

Skywalkaa12

If I had a nickel for every time Emily got a dragon named Cinnamon, I’d have two nickels lol

Dreampie

I have Gunkles lmao, theyre both named Eric

Spades Pendragon

I was so impressed with how quick on the draw Krudbert was with his scathing insults. He's a legend

Hipster

“I’ve always wanted a bunk bed in a bone room!” And if I said I loved Krudbert, what of it???

Sami Kerwin

“why’re you going after young pups when there’s a big dog here” is an iconic Cinnamon comeback

Sami Kerwin

full krudbert hellbiscuit brotherhood

Sami Kerwin

honestly on my hands and knees begging for more of the twin flames

Wilder Cosaboom-Son

So funny listening to older episodes and hearing what will eventually be Boggy Roger’s voice coming from a porn addicted Kobold
