Can someone please defend the Grinch questions to me. I'm starting to not want to listen to these episodes. They are becoming annoying. It feels like someone is writing and wants to feel special so they add the Grinch so maybe they will read it on the podcast. Like I've heard the word so many times it feels like it's not even a word anymore. I think 1 per batch of episodes is my limit now.

Re: Pathfinder I know this has nothing to do Surprise Round - fantastic ep, btw - but I'm playing catchup on the pod and I am hopeful this will get seen by the Two Crew. Pathfinder is going to be *very* difficult to do theater of the mind. You may be able to get around it by using something like Demiplane. With it, and similar platforms, you can add conditions to characters to help track buffs and debuffs. The biggest thing you'll need to overcome is how important positioning is to make the battle system function as intended. I'd love to see you guys take a more committed crack at it as it is the best system for tactical play and creating deep, interesting characters.

agreed. I think it's possible to have it fit the podcast format if they just have a rudimentary setup with a few squares and beads or something simple on a computer. this would help them make the most of the format without it really needing to be seen by the audience. I also agree that more pathfinder would be amazing.

Overall, theater of the mind still works perfectly find with p2e. Murph has conveyed much larger scale battles fairly well. Especially in fhe last 2 or 3 episodes of the current campaign.

Definitely can see why that would be the case. As far as CR, especially in the beginning it can be a bit more drawn out and drama forward until they really really find that groove of being on the podcast and sort of refine their pacing so that down moments don't seem to drag as long, it also has the disadvantage of being generally much longer and way less produced with almost none if not no cuts at all I believe, where as Naddpod is very finely polished, well produced, cut down, and excellently paced from the jump.

I think a big part of Mrs. Mets' appeal is that the person in the costume is (respectfully) "caked up." It's not that easy to tell with Rosie Red but I do like her vibes. She sort of reminds me of Pauline from the Mario series.

I used to fly 60-70 times a year for work, and about 10-15% of those were international flights. I absolutely would've taken the "shit your pants fast travel" option instead of dealing with all of those plane rides

I've been binging these for the first time and last episode it got a Little old, but during the glamping scenario i was doing my best to stifle laughs at work at the first mention of the green suit. Much like the Grinch's heart, the humor of the Grinch bit also grew 3 sizes

I think there's a big question for the shit fast travel; is it actually fast travel, in that you teleport and just had to pay? Cause we use the word "teleport". Or does it just make you unaware/unable to form memories like anesthesia? Because if it's teleporting, the time saved is huge. If it's just being magically unconscious and arriving x hours later, it's probably not worth it.
