I'm so fucking happy! Suprise Round is my FAVORITE thing they put out! When I heard they were doing it I literally shouted with joy. Never laugh as hard as I do with surprise rounds and I like to spring some of these questions on my friend when he's not expecting it. Always hilarious to see his reason when I get to the involvement of the grieve and he realizes that it's just a stupid question and not somthing important like I tell him it's gonna be. I've been waiting this whole month for this. And it drops while I'm drunk? Nothing could be better. Thanks Naddpod you always give me what I need.

At the low end of average episode length (say 45m), a season of Bosch (10 episodes) runs about 7.5hrs. With bathroom breaks etc, a focus date runs roughly 5pm to midnight. Assuming you binge both Friday and Saturday, you could get through all 7 seasons in a month, and therefore probably feel less like you've wasted your life than if you had spread it out.

I love the foley of them fighting during these last couple episodes. I feel like it's the opposite of doing a visual bit on an audio medium (though that's also funny) where you're leveraging the constraints of the medium to make a joke. Makes me laugh every time.

I walked into my dad’s room and he was watching Bosch, confirming that it is, in fact, a show made for dads. I told him about this hypothetical and he had the most unfortunate answer that, on the 8th date, you would go over, and the first season of Lincoln Lawyer would be queued up. The protagonists are half brothers and they share many of the same characters. I wonder if this changes any of the crew’s opinions. I genuinely think I would still ride it out. I think if I can ride it out, I’ll be allowed to do this behavior too, and I’ll get literal months of dates in a row where I will get undivided attention to the media I like in return for doing it for my partner. Yeah, their special interest is a lil bit weird, but the rest of the date is incredible.
