I ain’t never missing a D&D court

Ione

Yay

Ione

Whatever Emily says, I agree with her

Clever Innuendo

Are potatoes called Murphy's because of the whole Irish thing? Only stretch I can make on it.

David

DND court is sycophantic, embellished drivel more often than not. Bring back "When Did Things Come Out" in place of a DND Court every now and then. Thank you

Borgar

wait, Jake sitting in as a judge for the SECOND dungeon court in a row? This is unprecedented. Has Jake finally shirked his "lowly" status? Or is this just all to build him up so high that his fall back down to lowliness will be all the harder on him? Can't wait to see

Jason Ramirez

😂😂😂 I always ponder the story when I read the title. I was not ready for surf and murph

Ryanne Wallace

Love the discussion of Murph's big naturals

Verdigree

That Potato DM is WRONG, the problem isn't the weight, it's the VOLUME, have you ever bought a bag of potatoes? There's like 30 at most, and the DM said the goblins had stolen 2 bags total, so that's like 60 potatoes, not 200

Borgar

maybe just don't listen if you don't like it rather than try and make demands like you're some hot shit. It's their podcast. You don't like it, that's your problem, not theirs. Grow up, kid. You're not always gonna get your way

Helen✨

You can keep a Google search from showing you AI by adding ‘-ai’ to the end of a search! I feel like that might change the game for Murph

David

Just a suggestion, not a demand. You don't have to get indignant on behalf of a bunch of millionaires who don't care that you exist. But D&D court has gotten so hack and people are obviously making things up just to get on the pod and everything is prefaced by paragraphs of mawkish adulation.

🐧lost penguin familiar

I've worked at a burger restaurant for over 8 years. We cut 90ct boxes at a time. It takes both hands to carry but perhaps these potatoes weren't that big in the dnd scenario.

Tim G

Murph & Terf punishment should be eating at Red Lobster with JK Rowling

hobblelobble

I hate to correct the supreme crit… but Murph & Turf would be meat and potatoes not lobster and potatoes. That would be Surf & Murph alas

Chazz

Is anyone else having trouble playing the ad free episode on Spotify, it stops playing each time I hit play?

Parma Jun

If I Murph You has got to be one of the all timer Segments!

Cheuly

It does the same for me! I even tried to turn my phone on and off again but that didn't work

BT Bishop

"Do you think they need to Hamlet this thing?" Murder everyone involved?

Jelly

Person who got bit here. The DM’s setup is worth it. We all have cushioned seats, custom dice towers, and the DM makes us dinner. He made his own custom table with a screen in the middle, there are lights, music, and there has even been a fog machine. The belgian malinois is genuinely unpredictable and scary, but the setting is so sick I will get bit for it.

Peregrine

“You all would be so lucky to get my husband’s big naturals” *cackling*

Phteven ss

My favorite part is that if you get a lobster, you're probably gonna have Murphys with it. So, whether they have Murphys and and steak or murphys and lobster sounds good but also normal to me.

trinacicc

ok i guess i’ll be the one to point out jake’s (that’s his name right?) “nora ephron” for a date vibe i know he meant norah jones but i cackled

Ollie

Re: the story about the bad dogs... It's kind of annoying to me at this point when people "hint" at things. Like we are all adults here please just say what you mean. Also a dog that has bitten people is a risk, I hope it doesn't attack any more people, dog bites are not something to play around with and if your dog is so untrained it's biting people you need to either train it right or get rid of it... like my mom got attacked by dogs and her nerve ripped out if her hand by the severity of the bite from some dogs that were just "poorly trained"

The Fun Yaunt

The justices are right— the bard dating the barbarian’s ex should settle this out of D&D. As we all know, “D&D ISN’T ABOUT STEALING GIRLFRIENDS”!!!!

🐧lost penguin familiar

If a friend of mine ally ooped a potential relationship for me via dnd... I'd be so appreciative and I would try so hard to make connections with the single hot girl at the table... so obvious. What a dream...

Little_crow

Lol google does suck now

Vee

😔

Scott Specht

A phrase we use is “I apologize for doubting your superior intellect” and the Murph case players need to say that to the DM

Papa Taylor

I don’t know how many people go back through the catalog and listen to old episodes but I’m currently doing that it’s pretty rad that #NADPOD is still going strong. #TwoCrew #CarnalCrew

Heliks

Oh you know what, the circle of shepherds druid is multi classed with rogue - I wonder if they were able to summon a bunch of perfectly loyal, hard to hit and sturdy animals, have them count as allies, and position them around the battlefield to basically get perfectly reliable sneak attacks every round along with any poison damage from snake bites.

Adamantium

Love me some big natural murphs 🥔🥔

Seaweed

I bet you're fun at parties

AlbireoRising

In what universe do you bring two dogs with you to someone else's house?? I'm surprised the court wasn't more shocked by that.

Lindsey

(hides chihuahua behind back) I wouldn't know anything about people having dogs that bite other people at all ever, but hypothetically I would think the person whose dog bit someone would want their dog to hang out in another room during dnd so they don't have to constantly keep an eye out for the next moment their dog might sink their tiny, tiny teeth into somebody's ankle. Hypothetically.

AlbireoRising

Also the conflict avoidance in that case was so painful to listen to. My goodness.

Professor Pratt

I need this. The world is burning and this is some of the only happiness left.

Mortimer Lunch

“My husbands big naturals” and then a Murphy’s logo. Someone make that shirt for Emily!

Brock

is Murph concussed?

Mortimer Lunch

Side note: Murph being unable to understand the dating scenario was insane. C’MON MURPH.

hey!

I’m sure someone already told you guys but your spotify upload got messed up somehow and won’t play! Love yall, just wanted to give yall the heads up!

kaylee w

corrected later in ep!

Not Another D&D Podcast

Hey! I think this is just a glitch on Spotify's end. If it doesn't resolve shortly, send us a Patreon message and we'll get it sorted ASAP. ~Caldwell

beefclapper420

I cant believe Murph kept his mic on for his piss break in this one.

Lindsey

okay i know i just implied i wouldn't let my chihuahua hang out during dnd but that was before i got to the part about using the lobsters as minis, because putting him up on the table and rolling damage based on whose minis he knocks over or chews on seems like a foolproof plan for a session

Martian

BIG NATURAL MURPHS 🤣

Martian

Release the big natural murphs mod for BG3 you cowards! 😂

Evan Johnson

Hey there, can confirm this is happening to me as well on spotify and hasn’t resolved yet

Mikel

I was yelling at my phone until they corrected it 😅

Pandaman1165

On the note of handling birthdays in game, my Pathfinder GM just gives each player a hero point for their birthday. Nothing crazy and we keep playing whatever the party would be doing but it's a nice gift to have for our PCs. Could just do a DM inspiration for the following session if playing 5e.

Mikel

We got a snake release case!

#KittyLearnsToCook

I mean, it sounds like everybody is taking it in stride, but I think it’s important to recognize that if this dog gets into the habit of thinking that biting is OK when stressed, the poor dog might bite the wrong person and get put down for it. You don’t bring animals to another person‘s house without explicit permission because the animal who lives there deserves to have their space respected. I think that is incredibly rude, and the person whose house it is gets to decide who comes over, human and canine alike.

#KittyLearnsToCook

Please, as someone who volunteers for a city animal shelter, tell your DM that his dog biting can get reported to the city!!! I wouldn’t want to see this dog get put down because they learned that biting was the way to deal with stress.

hey!

On top of disengaging and getting at least one if not more opportunity attacks as the enemy moves to engage with your character

hey!

Tell your dm for every bite you get you can feed an enemy to the dog

hey!

I have to assume it is a backdoor deal between Judges Tanner and Djark, same way he got so good at DMing for Skaldova, bribery

aiyana graham art

with the boy who cried wolf case, I think dealing with the difficulty by doing AOE spells is great, but exclusively targeting that player for multiple combats is not. there are definitely combats in both d20 and naddpod where specific players were targeted more frequently than others because of their power, but it was also typically because of their relationship to the big bad (im thinking Beverly and akarot). having 5 rounds where a player just does nothing because they're "too powerful" is not cool, and I think targeting specific players tends to be more acceptable when its for one or two rounds and not the entire fight/5 rounds. like you're just making your friend not have fun cause you're trying to win dnd. its definitely fair to play to the top of your characters intelligence, but its kind of hard to believe that enemies in the world would immediately know to zero in on one player, they should know the whole party is a threat and probably that one of them is particularly difficult, but not necessarily immediately who it is or what to do about it (like murph said)

hobblelobble

Me too 😂 I commented early, clearly, but up until they corrected it I was like dearest supreme crit no!!

Nathan Mills

Hey, I hope your bite is ok! I’m sure your DM is a decent person and their setup must be super sick, but they’re objectively a bad dog owner. Malinois are known to be very high energy dogs who are difficult to train. They NEED to have a job to focus their energy on. If your friend isn’t meeting your dogs needs then other people feel the consequences of that. Also, why has no one had an adult conversation and just said “your dogs make things difficult and aren’t welcome at sessions”?

Tavitafish

Unless they brought their own burlap, which is pretty reasonable for goblins Edit: also they're being shipped long distance so realistically they wouldn't be in store size bags

The Grinch (feral)

I feel like some how, against all the odds, these continue to get more unhinged every single time an ep drops lmao

Samuel

Is Murph doing a bit as Amir during the Bard Barbarian drama case?

BethKF

The mental image of ponies working with sketch artists to achieve detailed, perfect representations of every party member has absolutely ended me. Sitting laughing out loud, on my own, like I’ve finally lost it 🤣🤣🤣

Professor Pratt

I feel bad for the DM because either way he needs a new bard and barbarian. There goes the “save the princess” trope.

Glenn D AKA Mcdoogins

For your consideration- Hot Murphy, Murphy Sack, Lazier than a sack of Murphys, Couch Murphy, Small Murphys, Meat and Murphys, Mr. Murphyhead

Dylan Buras

For future Google’s if you put a curse word in the search it usually gets rid of the AI! So is Murph had asked “How much does a fucking potato weigh?” They wouldn’t have been any AI !

Melissa Shilale

Big natural murphys, I’m trying to eat breakfast!!!!

Alan Ma

All the Carls are reminding me that we need another chapter of the Mavrus Chronicles

Emma

My opinion is that if you are going to get a dog breed like a Belgian Malinois, you simply have a huge obligation to train it well. They are lovingly called “maligators” for their propensity to bite. If you knowingly are getting a dog like this, you are absolutely responsible for helping train it to be somewhat pleasant to be around. Those dogs require SO much exercise, stimulation, and training. If you ignore training that dog and then shrug your shoulders at its erratic and scary behavior, that is irresponsible. I will die on the hill of “don’t get a working dog breed you aren’t prepared to meet the needs of.” Because it’s a miserable and stressful life for everyone, the dog included!!

Iris Dewey

My first time dming was a game my bestie arranged as an pretext to flirt with a friend of a friend. I'm going to their wedding next week so I believe in the power of dnd based romantic machinations, but it's a marathon not a sprint

David

You wouldn't believe how much useful information is in there.

Sean Q

As the DM of that case, yes. They were each individual allies, had buffed HP from shepherd druid, and instantly grapple the enemy on a hit. They’re insane for battlefield control, and restricting enemies with the ability to stack grapples and create a deadlock. Didn’t want to get too into the specifics of the build to keep the case short, but he also has other beasts in his catalogue like apes and giant ravens for tankiness and mobility. Were actually only a few sessions away from the campaign’s endgame, and on their final level up he was gracious enough to NOT take the Conjure Wooldand Beings spell because I directly told him “I really don’t know how to balance you with a bunch of fey summons that have buffed HP.”

Mr. Dude Sky

Sorry Murph, but size absolutely factors into carrying capacity and you could not have chosen a worse example. A halfling with 20 strength has an equal carry capacity to a Goliath with 10 strength due to their powerful build. It does not matter in this case because carrying capacity is only halved if you are tiny. Small creatures are fine.

Bransy330

Murph's Big Naturals merch when?!

heavy harry

Yo, an advice podcast called "if I were you" sounds like a goshdarn gold mine. Then they talk about a segments podcast???!?!? The crew is on fire with ideas right now

Sean Q

DM of the Boy Who Cried Wolf case, here! I wanted to clarify some of the things about the case that were brought up in the episode, since I wanted my question to be brief for the sake of submitting it. Firstly, most of the enemies that have been in this campaign did have knowledge of the party, and knew who the big threats were. The BBEG is The Big Bad Wolf, and another difficult encounter was with The Wicked Fairy who had been the right hand to the Wolf for some time. The encounter that was discussed in this particular question was with an enemy called Stingy Jack, who at one point was possessing/hiding inside the soul of the party’s Jack of the Beanstalk. He had gained knowledge of the party in their more personal moments, and was able to observe how they act in combat and get an idea of their strategies. He eventually broke free and gained demigod level power which is what led to the difficult fight. Another player that had haste cast on Boy was the one getting his concentration broken, and was targeted by Stingy Jack because of a personal vendetta. That entire combat was pretty difficult across the board with multiple other enemies under Stingy’s control (long story) but nearing the end of the fight Stingy was throwing a lot of focus on Boy to stop him from getting a bunch of summons that could pin him down. Also mentioned it as a reply to another comment, but the snakes weren’t Boy’s only summons he used. He had apes and giant ravens for damage and mobility respectively. The summons got such high HP from the shepherd Druid’s mighty summoner feature that basically acts as the tough feat for summons, and the bear totem spirit that gives a lot of temp HP to allied creatures within the effect’s radius. This isn’t even to mention his other utility spells, almost 30 passive perception, rouge’s reliable talent meaning he can effectively never fail a check that he’s proficient at, and more. I cannot emphasize how much of a silver bullet his character can be in so many situations, which is why villains that know about him are going to need to use that knowledge strategically. It’s also lead to me trying to get more creative with how to use skill checks and out of combat scenarios that can’t just be brute forced with summons, spells, or more commonly used skills. It’s been a great exercise in adapting to not only him, but all the other shenanigans my party loves to throw out at me. It just so happens that for this case, he was the most dangerous in my eyes. I appreciate the wise decision of the judges, and am currently planning a trip to the Red Lobster for some Murph and Murph. Might go out for some Pizookie after.

Jack

Let's go Buffalo!

Silky

Jesus christ people control your dogs. Imagine letting your dog bite your friends and not immediately changing the situation so it never happens again

Clotilde

there's also free chrome plugins to remove google ai answers from the top of the results.

Jordanne Stahl

Any Belgian Mal that is 1. Not well-trained, 2. Not given a job that it does 10 hours a day and 3. Stressed out is a dog that is going to end up euthanized. That is God's Most Intense Dog and it's bred to bite. I don't care about the cool table, this is an actual crisis waiting to happen.

Clotilde

i was shocked that no one immediately said "If they're not getting the hint, tell them directly to stop bringing the dogs" 🥲 SAY WHAT YOU MEAN, PEOPLE

Sarah Sullivan

I completely understood the dating question immediately, Murph and Caldwell clearly never had hs dating drama

tacticalgrandma

Did anyone else get Formation stuck in their heads after all the “take [x] to red lobster”s?

Gearbox

Seeing Jake pull out his "If I Were You" experience was really fun, lol

Walker Thurman

Strength is not the only thing to consider when carrying that many potatoes, 200 potatoes all in a stack is bigger than a person. Like maybe they could drag it away but they would noticeably by pulling an ENORMOUS sack of potatoes behind them

Jeff Sparrow

My honest opinion on the Bard/Barbarian "case" is that it wasn't even close to a d&d thing. I also assume the "DM" was actually the "Bard" but didn't want to come across as it. Anyways, point it, it wasn't a case and I don't know why it was included >_>;;

SimpleWater

Come on Murph. This relationship question is not hard at all... get it together man.

SimpleWater

It's not even drama is wildly straightforward lol.

Alex S.

Still waiting on pins and needles for the Trinyvale triplets in Barovia

froggy

great ep!! i always enjoy y'all's silly commentary and insight on these silly situations. as a fellow introvert, i fully hear the anxiety about flirting in a group social setting. we had some friends where one of them thought the other was cute and we played some dnd together and they would help each other out with rules, but nothing ever came of it. you can't force anyone to hit it off, but you offered a great space for that sort of thing to happen in the first place!

froggy

also does anyone know emily's substack? i'm following an eaxford but not sure if that's her ...

Victoria Fair

How are we not having the person bringing unwanted dogs swimming in a suit of armor? Stop avoiding the conflict and tell them to leave their dogs at home or they're out of the game. This is a recipe for disaster for everyone involved and the Malinois is going to be the one blamed for people's stupidity.

Sean Q

Ah hell… gimme the shell

Ross Wright

We need a Murphs big naturals with two potatoes on it merch drop

Sean Q

Shout out to the Stew Crew

Hugo Wull

Surfin’ Murph is my favorite 60s garage rock song!

DC47

No it wasn't, not at all. It seems to me that recently more and more non-game "questions", like this, are being showcased. Im not sure why...maybe people just aren't bringing up actual game-play things anymore. Regardless, you are right, and I hope they get back to what this was originally.

William Lambertz

The song playing at Red Lobster will be “These Are My Crustaceans” by Oysher

HopsteinGoodbarrel

All I know is, after the first 10 minutes of this episode I am definitely making some baked potatoes for dinner tonight.

Jo Hobbs

The Barbarian/Bard situation might have been easier to understand with another way to refer to the people involved - perhaps fruits? Eg if apple was dating pear …

Hugo Wull

As long as Blueberry doesn’t show up, I hate her.

Cory Wyse

“Your butt must be raw from all the ass pulls” 😂😂😂

Ian Hanson

BLADES IN THE DARK REFERENCE?!!

Ian Hanson

The crew should totally play that!

Hammy

Or Ducktales characters

Doctor Ransom

Gotta give it up for the Gotches! (I’m including Wealwell cause he’s solid)

Doctor Ransom

Personally I’m not a big fan of these “hardly D&D adjacent” cases that are more IRL personal problems. I get that it’s for comedy but it does nothing for me. C’est la vie.

Lily Holmes

Obviously not the most important part of the episode, but as an escape room employee we can always tell who the first dates are. They tend to be significantly worse at talking to each other than most groups, which means that most first dates don't get out.

t✨

i dont know if many other people know this but if u add "-ai" at the end of your google searches, it searches like it used to!

Zoop

I do wonder if the pony thing is a bit of a cheeky shoutout to Skyrim in which horses absolutely can and do report you to the authorities for any crimes they witness you commit

Zoop

Oh word, I hadn’t even considered using Boolean search tools- I was just scrolling down- this is smart!

Kailie Hind

Ugh the dog one is so stressful. Both owners are being so dumb. A poorly trained malinois is unreasonably dangerous to be around. Then adding TWO more dogs to that environment. Thats asking for a tragedy.

Jo Hobbs

I’m glad my genius has been recognised

tautcarabiner

The dog one is crazy. Having an untrained Belgian malinois is irresponsible already, but then someone is just bringing their dogs without asking? And why are they 'hinting that dogs aren't welcome? You just say 'hey you can't bring your dogs to my place'. If they got a problem then they're also irresponsible. Wild.

aMeanSquirrel

All but one of these cases would have been solved by an adult conversation. No hints. No, hoping they intuit. And the "but one" case was the one in which the targeted player talked openly about their issue with the DM. Be honest about your feelings and intentions, things stand a better chance of working out

Ian Montgomery

A friend got it for me but I moved away and haven’t had the chance to run it yet. Does it work remotely?

clerby

I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR NADDPOD LIVE AT RAINFOREST CAFE PLEASE 😭😭😭

BoneyJabroni

This dog story is crazy. A dog biting a person is not caused by other dogs. Maybe they hype it up but a dog that will bite a person, especially a friend, has a mindset that is way more dangerous than it seems and is absolutely the biggest issue.

Andrew Jennings

The lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely baliff Axford

Sean

Huge missed opportunity to order these people have their difficult conversations at a little place called mangia’s

Melaninja

It’s very rare that Murph of all people derails the podcast. 🤔 Was anyone else slamming their head against their desk when they were explaining the Barbarian and Bard dating situation? 🙂‍↕️

Snackonomics

My group solved the birthday problem, by have a group birthday in April and doing a secret Santa style gifting. Everyone gets a gift and cake, and no one feels left out. This year we even turned it into a sleepover, which was very fun

Ian Hanson

Oh yeah! Me and my friends play it online!

Ian Hanson

I think Emily would run a really good blades game!

Jules

I 1000% agree, my head hurts from all the desk slamming

Sarah Sullivan

Even Murph admits it’s potentially a “friendship breakup”. Feels a little dramatic

Neil Dutton

Do NOT get me started on Blueberry.

Neil Dutton

Your game sounds awesome!

Sean Q

Hey, thank you so much! This campaign really does mean the world to me, and I’d absolutely loredump at any given chance.

Rebecca

Would be so cool if Jake would start it with that guy who played Yugo or something. Seemed like they had really good chemistry

Jolly Bee Happy

An escape room as a first date is brilliant. However, you can take it to the next level by running it solo beforehand. If you know all the solutions ahead of the date, you are fully set up to display so many admirable traits, “intelligence, reliability, patience”. You’re basically wing manning yourself.

Kingzley Sparkman

My "confession" being read on the pod is the highlight of my week. Probably month! Can confirm my ass was raw 😂

Vinnie Vidi Vici

Went to a restaurant today and there was an app called "Lobster Potato Boat". I think the Justices were on to something.

Dr. Eggman

This is off topic but I still think about how about a year ago Murph got everyone to stop saying Sweet Blue Hole by suggesting we save it for 2025 and then sighed a huge sigh of relief knowing everyone would forget

Max Herzog

Some of the most toxic submissions to date, dating your friends ex and bringing biting dogs to sessions??? Wake up or grow up people

Reuben Simmonds

The bard and the barbarian don't need to talk about the girlfriend, Chris and David need to talk about the girlfriend. This is so far from being a D&D problem

Goggalor

They didn't derail for very long and honestly it was a highlight for me for Murph to be the ONE confused person for once. Lol.

Goggalor

I absolutely wanted them to sentence the question asked for being frustrated the other dog owner wasn't "taking the hint". JUST TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS!

Michael Graham Abernathy

It is absolutely wild to expect Carl to figure out he was supposed to be flirting with Ingrid if nobody told him he was being set up. Most men are simply too dumb for machinations to work on us. Lol

dryptid

kugrash mention 🔥🐀🪳🦄

driftin through space

eating the horses? damn, doesn't matter if he's playing hardone or not. jake really has a dislike for horses!

Daniel B

How do they keep saying Carl without regressing to CarRol?!

Fearne Pérez

Murph being unable to understand the dating question and assuming no one else understood was the highlight of this episode

Cooper Erikson

Murphs big natural Murphies have all the eyes on them.

rollinginthecrits

Caldwell gave me an idea for a session villain - one of those corporate facilitators whose whole thing is team building synergy nothing is worse than corporate icebreakers

Toblerone. jpg

Thank you for bringing attention to this Dr. Eggman

Mach T-Rex

Right? I didn't even think it was that badly worded.

Toblerone. jpg

Sorry you’re going to hell, but it was a good story, filled me with dread

Fearne Pérez

To be fair, auditory processing is hard and we all have our moments but the sweeping assumption no one else followed the pretty clear breakdown of the problem was very funny

Mynne Maxine

That was part of the puzzle that he didn't solve

Zoop

Tbh it’s not entirely clear to me that Ingrid neccesarily knew either- I mean it would be crazy if she didn’t(& also i may have j missed them stating that she did) but imo it’s already very odd & frankly, misadvised to tell one of them but not the other. Cuz yeah a lot of men ARE a bit dumb esp when it comes to social implications/reading the room but tbh, I think most women in carls position would also be unaware of what was expected of them. The whole thing j feels v poorly planned lol

munch lax

A horse could definately ID a person, i mean they can count for crits sake.

SneakyTweaky

Pathetic and sadly common dog owners. No one wants to put foot down against their pet

Logan

The dating story from 11:00 was very easy to understand. I was laughing at how terribly murph was understanding it.

Courtney F.

GUYS I'm eating a steak with shrimp and potatoes. Is it a Murph and Surf and Turf or a Surf and Turf and Murph???

cob D

You could remove all mention of D&D from the first two cases and it wouldn't change anything.

Ingrid Rossi

Look up the breed. Malinois are notoriously very hard to train and extremely territorial and bitey. Not trying to justify, more the opposite. Regular ass people should not have these kind of dogs.

Ian Mcilwean

I think pathfinder gives natural stat bonus to races but you can still make a strong halfling they just start at 8 before point buy.

Kevin Engelkamp

A D&D campaign is way more important than a nine month relationship :P

Captain Positivo

Murph saying Circle of the Shepherd isn’t known for being powerful made me give a full “HUH?” out loud 😭

Holden

The fact that they have this conversation last week and now red lobster is having a revival right now is so funny to me

Summer Tribe

Yeah i couldnt help but come here to point out how wrong he is. That druid making themself worse with levels of rogue is a mercy

SolemnSeagull

Horses don't draw with their hooves, they draw with their mouths. Paint is easier, and some can get pretty good at abstract art.

Owen Mustos

Just wanted to note that circle of shepherd druids are widely considered one of the strongest and most problematic subclasses u can play. A lot of games ban them due to their strength + the tendency they have for slowing games down with extra turns in initiative. I don’t see how rogue combining with this would be especially strong - but definitely shepherd Druid by itself is powerful.

Grass

Is Carl hot?

Mike

So ordered? More like spud ordered 🤣

Doctor Ransom

Better plan those next birthday sessions for the other players.

Joshua Qualls

I think the biggest issue with the boy who cried wolf’s dm is that instead of bringing up an interpersonal issue they had with their long-time friend, they took it out on them in-game, and then mislead them by saying “it’s just what my villain would do”

J. Gro

The first time I met my husband was through a pseudo set-up at a game night, and I was NOT into him at all. Repeat exposure over time is the way to go to see if a spark could be there. Also, I would never waste an escape room on a first date. I'm in it to win it, and if they didn't pull their weight, the room would be ruined!!

uh

YES

Yes ik this was posted five yrars ago

And you’re right

murph and turf is just steak and potatoes... i want that please hahaha

Snackonomics

Greetings from 2026! Did the dog situation ever improve?

Jelly

Hello! I actually have debated commenting on one of these with an update because it is long and there are no heros in this story. The DMs Belgian malinois sadly ended up passing away. They got another Belgian Malinois puppy shortly after. They hosted a few “office hour” days where we could come play with the puppy and socialize him to new people, which I thought was a great idea! Our next dnd session, puppy was there and fine with all the new people. The other PC with the two dogs, did indeed, bring their two dogs. One of their dogs was roughhousing with the puppy and took a sharp puppy tooth to the face. This stopped the session and they took their dog to the pet ER for stitches. The dog is okay, but that PC decided not to bring their dogs for the next session.
