There's been some cultural conversation about how the extremely negative response to the campiness of Batman & Robin was (in part) blatant homophobia, since Joel Schumacher was gay and obviously made the most homoerotic and campy Batman film he could for the fun of it. So Emily is right on the money about fanboys being mad because of Batman's luscious ass.

the guesses of "is there a person in the wolf's head y/n" are really interesting. Center pieces that are deliberately put there by writers often call attention to themselves for plot reasons, especially when they're brought up multiple times, so "yes" makes sense. On the other hand, Curse of Strahd is really heavy on prosaic description and ominous symbols. I can see the thinking either way

Maybe I’m a cranky old man, but I can’t get on board with these “new perspectives” on terrible movies. All the Schumacher Batman movies and Star Wars Prequels are terrible. If they accomplished what they were going for, what they were going for was bad. Like, id personally be fine if they just made a good Batman movie where he was actually gay. I’d also be fine if they made a Batman comedy that was actually funny (like Lego Batman). In Batman and Robin everything is just dumb in a completely un-compelling way

I think the issue for shumucker batman movies they wanted to revert back to the campy and silly movies. But we had Michael Keaton movies that set the dark knight Era after the campy silver age of Adam west. And people really wanted that world still. But for me it disappoints me in ruining and kinda putting a stigmata on using poison ivy or mr freeze. We got bane back barely without venom. Probably wasn't use due to those movies. But batman used venom in the Robert Patterson movie though

Two things: First, I too have floating head nightmare machines but instead of "bones are full of soup" recently someone said "did you know you can be constipated and have diarrhea at the same time?" And it swirls around me like a bad Doug Funny flashback sometimes. Second, --Murph.. I work at a guitar store and have been slowly learning the tristram theme from D1 and it is way more complicated than what they let you do this time. That being said I would pay money to watch you do it with your mouth which we previewed here.
