AmberDextrous!

Oh my god, I haven't listened yet but I'm so so so excited for this. I LOVED Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue soooo much as a kid, I straight up wore out the VHS 😂

Cavan McGinsie

No way! I played this on repeat as about a 5-year-old. Literally feels like a fever dream that no one else has seen.

Blue Bee

Fuck yes, I knew it had to happen eventually with all the 90s cartoons that have been kicking around, I just didn't know it was gonna be so soon.

Doug

Thanks for the link to the movie, it'll be exactly what I need to teach me how to say no to drugs.

Blue Bee

Fun fact about this also, Jim Cummings asked for Pooh's lines to be rewritten intentionally because he didn't think Pooh would know what drugs even were.

Doug

I would love to get a View Crew Review of Dragon Ball: Evolution some day. Professional Dragon Ball fans like you are the perfect critics for it.

christien

The joke about Jake not being part of 8 bit book club was too good to lose let's bring it back pls

Lauren

I’m tired of 8-bit book club after subscribing to the $10 level and they constantly do this :/

kaylee w

constantly? they make an effort to switch it up

MamaMayhem - Sal Soeh, Sal Nu

So impressed with all of Caldwell's character voices - he just had all of them on deck and so good!

Ninar Nuemah

Constantly do what? This is only the third view crew

clerby

omg i hope you told ally about the winnie the pooh cameo

Elderbax

Don't worry, I've been with this tier for years and there's never a shortage of new formats. Just wait for the next off-hand comment or gaffe to turn into a full-blown segment 😂

Jay

I (25) have never seen a single Muppet movie and like several Aerosmith songs, so there are at least a few people v.v

clerby

dream blunt rotation is the two crew and the extended naddpod universe btw.

Ninar Nuemah

There has only been 4 8BBC in the last year…

clerby

oh no no one tell lou what caldwell said about bugs bunny

rosebramblewolf

I'm 9 years old again listening to the intro

Mr. Dude Sky

Late Millennial here, I like Aerosmith over the Muppets

Hunter Stevenson

My wife isn’t happy that the Aerosmith ride is changing but my muppets are homeless rn so I’m glad for it

Bob C

Of course Alf has a history of drugs, his name is Gordon Shumway. That's the name of someone who got bored of weed by the age of 12

clerby

fantastic episode 😛

biblioprincess, the executive dysfunction fairy

1. $20 in 1990 has the purchasing power of $50.68 today according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation calculator and 2. The most reliable places to buy drugs in my hometown when I was a teen were a) the Teen Center (which got closed down because of this and then became a bicycle museum) and b) just outside of the back gate of my junior high

Lilli of the bog

I saw this in school in 1999 and six year old me had no fucking clue who alf was.

Angie McClelland

I was 9 when that aired. Had it on VHS recorded from the TV. Between that and other after-school specials I was utterly terrified to go to a school restroom beyond single stall ones. This lasted through high school. (anxiety--it was there all along!)

Clever Innuendo

What always stuck with me when I watched this at the intended age was the brother looking like a zombie, moaning with a 'headache' after he smoked pot. It's such an awkward, terrible lie, because it just takes you seeing your cousin being high once to realize you've been lied to. If they lied about that, what else did they get wrong? Scare tactics can only work in the veil of ignorance. Once again, South Park somehow had the best message about this topic that future "DARE" efforts should emulate.

Chris F

I’m not the biggest Aerosmith guy, but I do lament missing a rock and roll themed rollercoaster. Muppets will be fun though.

RavensBinch

Sound off if you ever bought weed with coins, not necessarily from a piggy bank

Calder Kilyay

Muppets > Aerosmith, and I've seen Aerosmith in concert

Hannah

this is also only part of the $5 tier dude

Transfemmes4murph

Dave Seville is definitely coked up caldwell is wrong here sorry not sorry

Hannah

i’m elder gen z but I grew up watching the muppets with my mom and listening to aerosmith with my dad so I’m happy either way, sad to lose the aerosmith theme but happy to see the muppets get an attraction that will likely be more popular than the show

dummythixon

Very much dislike the Muppets, always have...

ali

Muppets over Aerosmith 100% of the time

Andy Côté

Where is the poll where is it the people need à voice

Tate Horse

I was given an autographed copy of Barbra Bush’s book about her dog as a child and was inexplicably obsessed. I never thought my boy C. Fred would be mentioned here.

Hammy

Pooh, you fucking snitch

Grass

I’m listening to this stoned

Eos

This has 100% convinced me that you guys need to watch the Aeon Flux cartoon tv show 😂

TomGeJ

Never seen anything muppet related, never listened to aerosmith, but have been on an aerosmith coaster so... I guess aerosmith?

Mila Janus

Zac Oyamas brother-in-law Ken Marino is the producer in the pre-ride video for the rock n roller coaster.

Grimmie

Oh thank goodness it's not just me 😅

kora

the real crime is losing muppet courtyard- at least the coaster is letting us keep them hollywood studios (i am biased on this though, and i don't care)!

Matthew Sands

Early millennial. Muppets over Aerosmith. Fond memories of Revolution X as a quite goofy rail shooter though

Bebs

I was born in '98, and the muppets were not a huge part of my childhood

Olivia Spencer

My dad is "Too cool" 🤢 for the Muppets, and his favorite band is Aerosmith. So... 0.001%?

Lee Mulkins

honestly i loved the segment teaching kids how to set boundaries based on comfort level with confrontation, like thats genuinely actionable advice for children esp ones who cant 'just say no'

jaydon

wheres my poll

Delwin Agustin

I'd pick Aerosmith over the Muppets lol, Muppets weren't as big when I was growing up

Grass

idk why this delights me

Hannah

I was ‘99 and i think this was pretty common for our age group unless you were like me and had parents that loved them, the biggest thing that came out when we were still young (as far as I can remember) was the 2011 one with Jason Segel and Amy Adams

Alex Kennedy

I love the rockin rollercoaster! Hurry up murph you'll miss aerosmith. Also i have a rad gen x mum.

Kellyd

1993 millennial here - I was never exposed to the muppets as a child, and when I was a teenager started encountering Muppet people who were fanatics in a way that turned me off Muppets forever, meanwhile Liv Tyler was regularly acting and it felt like a Big Deal that Steven Tyler was her dad. Aerosmith by a mile

Jack

I’m 29. If I had to choose between watching the muppets or listening to Aerosmith, it’s Aerosmith all day

NOBLIVION

The Muppets rock, they have a revival every 6 years or so and I’m here every time for it

Jesika Thomas

Idgaf about muppets are Aerosmith

Stefan UrKILL (Figgy)

tbh I think if you’re a person with the mindset of “these things are for kids, I only care about approved adult hobbies” then you can easily be in the center of that Venn diagram (like my aunt who made fun of me at Family Christmas because my then-bf got me a Steven Universe Funko pop 🙄🙄).

Cal

Muppets actually inspired Aerosmith

Evan

Aerosmith isn't even that great by Dadrock standards, Muppets clear any day

Olivia Spencer

Aww I love Stephen Universe. Which pop did you get?

bigbadevilgaming

My household was not a Muppets household when I grew up. I am 32 now and had no older siblings. I have not, just by coincidence, not consumed any Muppet-related content. My father is a massive classic rock fan and through living with him I ended up listening to a lot of Aerosmith growing up. I have seen Aerosmith in concert twice. I definitely prefer Aerosmith over the Muppets.

Ken

My mom (66) LOVES Aerosmith and is frankly indifferent about the muppets

Ken

Same here, ‘97. My older sister loved the muppets but was done with them by the time i came around.

Bryce Peterson

That would be a great journal prompt; “one cartoon character that could shame me into getting clean is…”

Spears

Muppets

Goodjt

Muppets all the way

Colin Kilzer

Caldwell gave me whiplash when he said Bush sr was like nick fury because I just listened to the short rest for episode 39 of eldermourne and you guys also mentioned nick fury in that episode

Ron A.

RIP Fun n Games willowbrook mall in Wayne NJ, shadiest arcade ever in the early 2000s

Broghar The Bugbear

This I think was the overall best rating they have done across the board

Kyle Veach

I grew up on classic rock (I'm 29) and Aerosmith was always a staple among my favorite bands as a kid. Muppets are great though, just in a totally different category of things I like.

Jack

The new cartoon allstars would just be italian brain rot let's be honest

Totally Offside

My 4 year old son watches the exact same cartoons that I did. Hollywood won't let IP die. The all stars would be 90% the same characters swapping in Pikachu for Alf.

Jay Taylor

“Bugs Bunny is best when he’s dressed as a woman trying to kiss a man who’s trying to shoot him with a gun.” Truer words have never been spoken.

Jesse Rogers

This inspired me to smoke some grass and revisit this special, IMMEDIATELY understood Emily thinking Winnie the Pooh had a wife

Jay Taylor

Does anyone else think Miss Piggy deserves a place in Surprise Round lore?

Robert S.

Aerosmith was the first rock concert I ever attended. They put on a pretty good show, but it’s muppets, no contest

Jay Taylor

I like the Muppets at least 10x more than Aerosmith.

Ilana Galpert

my biggest takeaway from this is the best cartoon characters do drugs (the looney tunes, sponge bob, the turtles--and all the characters from adventure time)

Ken

My brother is one of the insane people who prefers Aerosmith over the Muppets and was horrified of the change. But he's nuts, The Electric Mayhem is awesome.

Tiernan M

I'm with Emily on this one. That is a full grown woman cuddling up to winnie the pooh

avery

i do like aerosmith more than the muppets but that’s just bc felt puppets kinda freaked me out as a kid and muppet babies implied something really terrible happened to them texturally as they aged

Stefan UrKILL (Figgy)

just the classic Steven without the gem! and hey, the Funko pop has stuck around longer than the relationship so take that, family 😂

Maia

I can say without a doubt in my mind that the muppets are better than aerosmith. The muppets give you the real hard truths about life, they inspire you.

Peregrine

“The most powerful weapon that we know in politics is the cartoon”

Benseanjamin

22 y/o Gen Z here, I’m very anti-muppet and pro-Aerosmith so you can Dream On about it only being a small sliver of Gen X, I’m gonna have to walk that way with Jake away from the muppetcoaster

B B

The George H W Bush impressions are great. Favorite bit.

Bridie O'Dare

This episode felt like an intelligent but still humorous leftist political podcast that might play on NPR?? Anyway muppets all day

Mnixon

Thank u mx view crew

Zanna

My (25yo) only tie-in to the muppets was Sesame Street. I preferred the Brian Froud type of puppets.

Richa W

Can't wait to listen. BTW I watched Van Helsing for the first time tonight. Early 2000s campy goodness, some really dodgy (in a fun way) sfx and Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale being hot while monster hunting. I don't know if you all ever watched it on here or 8bbc. Would be so fun to hear the View Crew's take. Perfectly spooky and silly for the Halloween season!

Kendall Bailey

Revolution X was the only good arcade game at my local bowling alley growing up.

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

As GenX that grew up on hard rock/metal, don’t hate Aerosmith but The Muppet Show was the shit! (Muppet Babies kinda missed me). Even though Mickey came first, Bugs Bunny is the Godfather of toons imo (Mel Blanc is a fuckin Icon) and deserved better in this.

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

A couple future viewing recs. The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones(1987) or with Halloween coming, The Flintstones Meet Rockula and Frankenstone(1979). Also found The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!(2017). There’s also a Flintstones/WWE one(2015). Well, the Rockula one doesn’t seem to be available but the other 3 you can rent on Amazon or Apple for like 3.99.

Alexander Powers

Huge fan of Cartoon All Stars, I own it on VHS and have watched it so many times. The contents of the marijuana box crack me up every time. So glad the View Crew is reviewing this.

Rafael C

Some beautiful american history right here.

Nova

We had this special recorded off TV on a VHS and it was so weird not realizing just how well I remembered it until things were mentioned. Murph’s Alf impression about the Piggy Bank really caused some flashbacks!

commas-and-ampersands

omg I remember a friend of mine in college owned this for some reason and she made us watch it because no one else had seen it. I am not immune to the nostalgia of it all. Looking forward to listening!

Courtney F.

Millennial who had to think really hard about Aerosmith vs the Muppets here... I feel more connected to Aerosmith because my momma raised me on them.

Courtney F.

37 and same but my mom! I think there's gonna be dozens of us!! 😂

Courtney F.

I said this is another comment but there's dozens of us! I swear, we exist! 😂

Courtney F.

Yes! Forgot about the Liv Tyler tie in, there's definitely some credit in that defense!

Courtney F.

Sidenote: so cute that Emily conflated Demon Slayer with KPop Demon Hunters

Violent Pixie

Aerosmith 🤷🏻‍♀️ never really watched muppets (cusp gen Z - ‘97). No big feeling about either one, though

Lorelei and Kyra Newly Weds

I was born in '96 and I'm 100% behind the muppets. They were funny, had cool designs and had decent-amazing music when used. Kermit's the GOAT that I'm pretty sure has a nobel peace prize

Everest

This is the year I came out! (Was born).

Kimberly Uggerholt

My brother and sister (both millennial) definitely love Aerosmith more than the muppets. They are bad people.

Jacob Barnhill

The Aerosmith roller coaster was for my dad specifically

Rebecca N

So I haven't seen or even heard of this. It sounds like it's all animated, but I can't help but picture it as one of those live-action with animated characters interacting with real people things. Couldn't help laughing at some of these descriptions though

Ella

How can you be anti-muppets? Miss Piggy alone is an absolute icon

Michaela

No hahaha the coins to buy weed was an actual thing for us in the late 90’s! We’d scrounge our change and pool it together to get $5-20, and then we’d go buy literally 0.5g or maybe we’d get enough to get 1.5g (southern Ontario) and it would last 2-3 of us the whole day/night. Wed smoke behind the mall and then go in to the bowling alley to play pool. This is bringing back memories. 😭😭 my siblings definitely stole my change over the years to do the same thing.

Pyt

I’m with Emily, I totally thought it was implying Pooh just had a human girlfriend. He was tucked in right next to her, and since it was a cartoon it didn’t connect in my brain that he was supposed to be a stuffed animal until he spoke to the smurfs like 5 seconds later.

A.J.

"i'm gonna come pretty hard ..... on the muppet side" dude

Greg Jovi

I had to rewind it to hear Murph's flawless off the cuff Alf impression

Kingzley Sparkman

Suggestion for the View Crew outro: You guys sing or hum the theme song for whatever you watched. Or a song that was in it

Jorde

TV is weird because I’ve never heard of muppet babies but watched old alvin and the chipmunks cartoons enough to know the general lore lol (born in 97)

Jorde

These sound incredible. I cannot believe they were making these crossovers in the 2010s

SlainSigny

old gen z with some millennial stink (late 90s) also coming down HARD on the muppet side when i was 8 i got really sick and my mom rented a bunch of muppet show video tapes from the library. the muppets were my fever-addled brain’s salvation.

chlo!

“we heard the music joe, and it was beautiful” ohhhhhh this episode is so good release the jeb cut

rollinginthecrits

So what I’m getting from this is that Biden has just always been like that Also, I think we needed Raphael for the Ninja Turtles cameo…get some tough love in there. Also Bugs definitely has hollowed out one of his carrots out to make a joint before so tonally the wrong call for sure…

A$

The muppets for president

Nick Lerche

I always thought Garfield sounded like bill murray

clerby

sonic, the grinch, scrooge’s nephews, everyone is welcome

clerby

wait scrooge’s nephews are kids i think, not them 😬

Hannah

I would allow Aerosmith to be erased from history for one more muppet movie

Hannah

ALAN MENKEN? he wrote little shop omg

Kingofanchovies

I gotta admit I never liked Muppets thought it was weird as a kid I hated the mouths and hands

Emma Robinson

This made it's way to Canada! I remember watching this in my catholic elementary school in the 99s. Had absolutely no clue who those old people were.

Edie

Very funny listening to this as a gen z who has no relationship to any of these characters aside from the chipmunks. If you think the tv show was bad , I dragged my poor parents to listen to those demonic rodents through 3 theatrically released movies

Rain Elizabeth

My mall just opened a seedy looking dark arcade and honestly it's pretty nice

Rain Elizabeth

Me too! One time my baby brother went to the ER with croop, so we were all sick and quarantined, and the only thing I remember from that night is Muppets treasure Island, specifically the rats

Alrec von Zarovich

This is one of the most relatable conversations ever. Lmao Also I'm learning everyone my age had no idea who Alf is. :( (I'm twenty. Frickin love Alf.)

Jason DeVrieze

I think it was an Aerosmith ride because they were the only band that would agree to take the money that Disney was offering at the time, like...I think the Rolling Stones straight up said no

Cliftonshire Pennywhistle

Aerosmith - vital plot point in Dazed and Confused. The cryin’ dyin’ lyin’ music vids with Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler were developmentally important to some of us mid 80s kids

Steelbirdy

Hey gang, I've been listening and enjoying since before I started college and at this point I graduated several years ago and I have a real job. I'm about to embark on my first solo vacation (with >24 hours travel time). Just wanted to thank you for always being there to raise my spirits no matter what, I've downloaded 60+ hours of the first campaign and recent stuff to (re-)listen to while I'm there ❤️

Georgia

"mcdonalds should LOVE weed!" personally thats the only time i have mcdonalds 👍

Zeon Liberation

I watched this multiple times in school. Like every year until 6th grade or something

GintokiShids

what's funny is the fact that DARE (which at the point of this releasing was in 75% of schools) was created by a guy in the LAPD to 1) fund his extensive network of spies (deadass) and 2) infiltrate schools and have kids become informants; children literally started turning in their parents to the officers teaching the DARE program

Aidan Boyle

The fact that the screening to congress happened on 4/19 is such a cherry on the cake

Katie P.

This is like the We Are the World music video, but with the nostalgia factor of a Michael Eisner-era Disney World commercial which makes it forgivable lol. I used to go to an arcade in NJ which was in the same strip as a Hollywood Video and a defunct school bus which was 100% the crack purveyors

Unloved

I would much rather listen to Aerosmith sing than the Muppets, any day of the week lol

Fox

Older millennial, Muppets all day every day, Kermit is the only reason I met my wife (we met outside the muppets ride at Hollywood studios)

Gogs

GenX (1971) here, Muppet>Aerosmurf Also, I wanted to comment that current cartoons don’t have laugh tracks (Scooby Doo,) and the voices are about 50/50 annoying to tolerable (I have a 7yo.) The difference is that some of the cartoons break the “toy formula” of: Action happens>conflict introduced>characters reintroduced changing/morphing/getting vehicle/etc.>child actor laughs the same every time or with condescending tone>story wraps up. (Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, fall into another category of shorts that’s pretty much lost right now.)

Ariel, the Occasional Mermaid

Millennial born in ‘88 and I’ll be blunt: I do not care for the muppets. I LOVED muppet babies. But when the muppets would air immediately after an episode of muppet babies I was so…unsettled by their voices and the texture of the fabric of the muppet puppets that I would never watch more than a few minutes before turning it off in distress. I’m also autistic so maybe it was just that particular sensory experience that I could neither fathom nor enjoy. I like Aerosmith (I mean, Dream On is a classic, let’s be real), though there are many other bands from approximately the same era that I dig way more. However, if I had to choose between watching an episode of the muppets or listening to Aerosmith for an equivalent amount of time, I would choose Aerosmith in a heartbeat. Having said that: I would never disparage any muppet diehards! They are just not for me. 🤷‍♀️

Zoop

Yall joke but I literally did learn what crack cocaine was at a DARE school assembly when I was 8 years old (circa 2007) Literally no idea why they came to my elementary school given that the program was designed for 6th-12th graders but to their credit they did fully win me over with their campaign…I even exercised what they taught me when I was first offered weed 5ish years later…Ofc by the time I graduated hs I was a full blown stoner who’d been smoking everyday for multiple years but hey you win some you lose some 🤷

Zoop

I was born in 98 and I’ve gotta vote Aerosmith partially bc of my childhood borne love of Dream On but mostly bc the muppets terrified the crap out of me. Tbh, The only puppets I’ve ever been chill with is Elmo & his squad but I actually didn’t like Sesame Street either bc the grown ass adults walking around talking to child puppets freaked me out lol

JR Lonergan

As much as I love the Muppets, Aerosmith wins for me. Went to my first concert for my 11th birthday and they rocked!

Livicent

Asked my Gen X mum about her opinion on Aerosmith vs Muppets. According to her, the Muppets are funnier but Aerosmith makes better music. When it comes to rides, she would prefer one with Kermit and Miss Piggy specifically over an Aerosmith one tho

Griffin Buswell

I am 25, personally prefer Aerosmith over the muppets. Feel like the muppets had no presence when I was growing up and played the fuck out of Aerosmith guitar hero

Kuzco's Poison

Now I really want an episode on that Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon movie where the Chipmunks and Chipettes race around the world in hot-air balloons as part of an international diamond smuggling ring.

Takowowo

Interrupting the Aerosmith v Muppet Babies talk to bring up that Pikachu is currently already doing an anti-drug esque PSA in the current story arc of Pokemon. Context: Someone is distributing "Strong Balls" that make your Pokemon stronger but severs your bond with them and Pikachu and the new kids (not Ash) are trying to stop it

TheLazyHusky

As a gen Z, the Aerosmith ride was my first upside down roller coaster as a kid and I think the muppets are lame so I don't want the ride to change!

Kas

Murph, that Alf is pretty spot on man.

Kellyd

Wait so there's already a muppets ride?? Are they shutting that one down or are they going to have two? This is a smoking gun for me lmao

A. Lee. S

Non-American Elder millennial here - we didn’t have the channel with the muppets. So, I think I vote for Aerosmith. Also, a tiny bit I’m voting for Liv Tyler — who I recognize has nothing to do with this.

A. Lee. S

Actually, this brings up an important question for me and I feel like this is a safe space. Are the Sesame Street characters muppets?

C.J. Smith

I believe they are? They at least exist in the same universe

C.J. Smith

They've already shut down the old ride at Hollywood Studios to make room for the new Monsters Inc ride

Dean Moir

AEROSMITH ALL DAY

Ali Cat

32 and ABSOLUTELY muppets lmfao

Felix

can we recognise Caldwell's Meowth impression

Rain

Muppets FOR sure!! Also I love these view crew patreon episodes, they’re my favorite kind of mixed bag

Alex Gonzalez-Garcia

I’d love to see y’all watch looney tunes back in action, or if you guys want a crazy cross over that only Caldwell may no do the Jimmy and Timmy Power hour that’s a cross over of fairly odd parents and jimmy neutron. There’s three of them

A. Lee. S

I didn’t know that!! Cool!

Kaidan C

I’m gonna throw in with team muppet

Anthony Abreu

Hearing Emily say "If I had 10 dollars I could get us crack right now" absolutely cracked me up so hard

Matthew J

Fun fact! Sesame Street precedes the Muppet Show by about 7 years, and Kermit was a recurring character in the early days of Sesame Street. Some Muppets (like Kermit and Rolf the dog) existed before Sesame Street in various commercials, but Sesame Street was the first Muppet-content that wasn't designed purely to sell something.

A. Lee. S

😮 I have learned so much today!

Nocturne

Team Muppet, no contest

Kate

Team muppets all day.

Adam!!!!!

gen z. i have zero opinion towards the muppets and could not tell you a single fact about aerosmith. i would vote muppets just because i know they're more culturally relevant to me

Renegade

‘95, aerosmith exclusively because i feel more strongly about music in general & i never really engaged with the muppets as a child or adult. theyre definitely recognizable to me!! but i dont associate anything positive with them the way i do with some aerosmith songs. but imo yall 100% nailed the demo i think they were going for—my fondness for aerosmith comes from my moms intense love of music of that era and she has some retired groupie vibes for some of the bands 🤭

Joe S

I was born in 84 and I like Aerosmith way more than the muppets.

Tavitafish

"close it was Joseph r Biden" got me laughing so hard I had to fully stop cooking dinner for a minute

Amaya A

"close" absolutely broke me

I Shark

Muppets don’t adopt kids as groupies so I’m going muppets

Kathryn Martin

Public reminder Pikachu did talk to Ash in Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! Everyone lost their minds in the theater

FiendishNoodles

Jake being able to get in touch with George W. makes sense cause dubya went to yale which is located in the apizza capital of the world, Jake's hometown of New Haven CT.

Gretchen Welch

ALAN FUCKING MENKEN WROTE THE SONG?!

Moose

Unfortunately I’m a zoomer that passed by the muppets on my way to aerosmith

Kiera

Listening to the Pooh t shirt comments after the cloudward ho adventuring parties….fantastic work. Anyway love the view crew 🙂‍↕️🫡

Sharon G

Aerosmith’s rock’n roller coaster was for ME as a kid lmao I rode that ride like 4 times in a row the one time I went to Disney

Dom Lehn

"that's because Bugs Bunny is best when he's dressed as a women trying to kiss a man who's trying to shoot him with a gun." 😂😂😂

Mia S

Gen z and muppets easily

Cole Power

I still remember being in primary school and getting amped when the teacher would roll in the TV cart to play this episode ⭐

jdthetugboat

Gen Z. I grew up with Aerosmith in the music mix and Muppets in the screen. Give me Kermit, Fozzie, Dr. Teerh and the Electric Mayhem any day

J. Gro

Millennial who likes to think I'm closer to the cusp of Gen X than I actually am. I think the Muppet version sounds fun and more relevant to multiple generations, but my heart has a hard time letting it supplant Aerosmith. I like the idea of merging the two - Steven Tyler could for sure fit right in with the Muppets!! Outside of the roller coaster, I'd choose to consume Aerosmith media/music over Muppet content. Both are great, but Aerosmith wins for me.

Julia Thompson

I literally choked on a grape when it was revealed to be Joseph R Biden

Benny Marx

"Wally never did this to the Beav" was a great Alf line... surely a very timely reference in 1990

James Andrade

This ironically sounds like a great thing to watch while high.

Lee Blatchford

I need to weigh in here!!! Born in "79, and i prefer Aerosmith to by muppet babies by a LARGE margin!! Lol

Bloop bloop

I was solidly in the Muppets camp but you just reminded me that Liv Tyler as we know her wouldn’t exist without Aerosmith, and now I think I have to change my mind.

Colton T

*takes a drag*

Fiver

Si

Kyley Underhill

The Aerosmith ride is for the dads right

Tonyyyy

I can't believe they think SpongeBob is only 22, it's like they don't even know the lore (for the record, he still LOVES edibles)

Camilla Jefferson

repeatedly rode the Aerosmith ride with my friend Katie. It’s a deep core memory. (i was born the year this came out) there was 0 queue, we just kept going!

Camilla Jefferson

disregarding the battle for the rollercoaster, I’m fully on the side of the muppets.

Compound27

Cosmo from Fairly Godparent voice grinds me now as an adult! They should just mash Aerosmith and Muppets together. Gotta include Paw-Paw with Pikachu and Bluey in today's All Star

Evan (BeachBum) Higgins

Um actually, it wasn’t a “car” on the rockin roller coaster it was a “super stretch limo” that Steven Tyler PERSONALLY ordered for us

riskutforthebriskut

if you cant gleen a life lesson from steven tyler's insanity, thats on you

Nikolaus Cox

I thought the question “who are the modern cartoon All Stars?” was unanswerable, but honestly you guys nailed it: Moana, Elsa, Pikachu, Minecraft’s Jack Black, and Huntrix would absolutely slap in a modern reskinning of this story.

Kozai

I have so much to say, but god I would love a t-shirt of The View Crew’s logo. It’s amazing.
