Caitlin

If anyone from Naddpod is still monitoring comments on this episode, please tell Emily she needs to read Deathless by Catherynne Valente- Russian folklore retelling and SO GOOD.

Noah Kyle

Might be the fastest turnaround I’ve ever seen from asking questions to uploading answers. Excited to listen!

Sabrina Bernaby

Murph it’s so late!! Thank you guys for your hard work!! Go get some sleep now please!!💖

Wandering Giant

Just as I was feeling sad that I had caught up to all the content that's been posted, my prayers have been answered!

Matthew Young

Looking forward to listening to this in the morning!

Thruhiker

Going to listen to this on the drive to our Turkey Trot in the AM! Happy Thanksgiving, crew!

Isaiah Rich

“I can see him going back wild on some beans” 😂

Alex Hansen

The crick cup game was after saving Ulfgar in the start of the next episode. The improvised flip cup rules were to do an athletics role DC20, up and down the table.

JessMayWin

I can say with 100% certainty I would book tickets in Manchester every night for a week to watch you guys doing different shows each night 😂

Ellen Thieme

I love the idea of a homunculus mech suit for Spritle. I see endless paths of tomfoolery

Ryan Coogan

My goal now is to hear the Boobs attempt a Manc accent. Come on Jake, I know you have one in you.

Joshua Heyes

Love that Emily is a fan of Master and Margarita, it’s so amazing

Thale

Interrail Tour yes PLEASE

Stephen Corston

I think the Rogue UA Subclass Emily was thinking about was the Revived! They edited it to be Phantom subclass in Tasha's, but originally it was essentially a zombie Rogue. I play on in a Curse of Strahd game and it's really great!

TransCrafting

Listened to this episode while making a cinnamon rolls and coffee Thanksgiving breakfast for my husband and I. ❤ Thank you so much for making me smile and laugh with your podcast.

Debra Wasson

How can we find Calum’s art? I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this chicken incident

Debra Wasson

Oh OMG I understand know from the DM court

Kendall 🎶

Ahhhhh music teacher here. I wrote a huge research paper and subsequent presentation on The Firebird and feminism in college! FREAKED OUT when Emily started talking about Stravinsky.Emily, you do a fantastic job with the music! I love listening to you talk about your process!

Sabrina Bernaby

Flip cup was right before you went to the fey wild and were partying on the airship after the frost wind adventures while you were with Ulfgar, Jaina, and Matty Big Crits

Dana A

I always geek out when Emily gets into music talk!!! I love Firebird (and the way you're incorporating it into Fia is so cool) but my favourite Stravinsky piece is Jeu de cartes😍 and I've been meaning to say- huge props on the new music for this campaign, I've been absolutely LOVING it!!!!

tacticalgrandma

"Would you kiss a ghost" I see you Undertale question asker

James Wagner

HOW DID I NOT PUT FIA AND FIASCO TOGETHER???

Scott Hewson

So glad Emily got to chat about some music, I could listen to a whole hour of just that :)

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

I am thankful for the opportunity to know and support you - Murph, Em, Jake, and Caldwell. Your talents and kindness make the world brighter and I love that you get to do it on your own terms. Emily, your music is magical and loved by many eardrums! Happy Thanksgiving!

Saleana Judd

Spending Thanksgiving alone, thank you Emily for mirroring my belief that going it solo can be beautiful as well! You guys rock!

Vie.

The three bogatiers

Barbie Pootsky

I just leveled into a Fey Wanderer Ranger and absolutely love it!

Michael W

Hey, I played with that Unearthed Arcana rogue archetype! It was really fun, especially with a Loxodon character. I created multiple additional character sheets that were his past lives, so whenever I did a long rest I'd pick a new sheet to be the one he was channeling.

52 AD

Yes please for Canada!!!

Error

So I honestly laughed at a mental image of the players, all each buying a rotisserie chicken when they meet in person in honor of cluckgamebal happy thanks giving naddpod

Prince Pangolin

Hello! I'm 100% sure I asked this question and had it answered, but that must have been in an alternate universe because I have no evidence and cannot find a trace of it. So, apologies but I must ask yet again: I'm looking to start streaming and I'd love to work with some higher quality audio: What microphone do you wonderful folk use to record the podcast?

Resa

Thank you all for the dedication you put into naddpod!! I love the show so much, you’re all such great company ❤️ I’ll be moving to the UK from New York soon and I hope you can all come to the UK for a tour once this is all over bc I’ll need some Americans back in my life lol!!

Thomas Rose

Hearing them talk about their characters reminded me— if anyone hasn’t seen it, you GOTTA watch Cinderella Man with Russell Crow. Absolutely Henry energy. A 1940s boxer fallen from grace gets back in the ring to help his family get through the Great Depression and everytime i 🥺😭🥺

Tocayo

Murph (and anyone else that likes the eldermourne type of setting) you should check out Darkest Dungeon if you haven’t, it’s an amazing game that really pushes you to the edge and can be quite challenging yet super fun

Fulltime Cleric

Y'all played flipcup with Ulfgar! And he pouted when he lost. Such a delightful lil moment!

SonnyPiousFive

I will say this every time. JV’s accent is Australian, not New Zealander.

Michael Singer

What an amazing crew, through all the laughs all the tears and every emotion you four boobs have put me through in between, you’ve made me a better person, thank you for letting me feel at home and with good company during this pandemic, y’all are great, love ya!

Jenna

Yes to Canada dates!!

This is going to sound stupid but thank you for pronouncing my name right, it was incredible hearing it and I'd made me so happy to get my name in the council of elders . Thank you.

Lizzy French

Emily I love Naomi Novik! And the bear and the nightingall series has been my favorite since you recommended it! If you did a book club, I would join immediately. I absolutely love witchy slavic fantasies.

orion johns

I've never known anyone else who knew master and margarita by bulgakov I'm so glad you like it emily

2026-09-17 02:00 IDK the right place to do this, & i dont want to anger anybody! But Emily mentioned not having access to higher spells because she's multiclassing but as Fia's a full caster in those classes, her spell progression wouldn't change and she should have full access(p163 phb. Dunno if anybody has said this, but hope it's helpful. <3

That's only the spellslot. She told that she had those spellslot (as she upcasted guiding bolt). Apparently you're supposed to be considering each level separately for the spell known part, so she's a second level wizard on the wizard table to assess what spell level she has access to. Edit: It is on p164 of the PHB:"Spells Known and Prepared. You determine what spells you know and can prepare for each class individually, as if you were a single-classed member of that class. If you are a ranger 4/wizard 3, for example, you know three 1st-level ranger spells based on your levels in the ranger class. As 3rd-level wizard, you know three wizard cantrips, and your spellbook contains ten wizard spells, two of which (the two you gained when you reached 3rd level as a wizard) can be 2nd-level spells"

Make sense though, otherwise there isn't any downside to multiclassing which would fully unbalance the game.

"There's this guy Stravinsky" is such a funny line

Yes i was searching the comments to try to figure it out. Can anyone lead us to where to find the initial bit?

Daniel Soto

Awwww the list of thanks

Lucas Sharrett

Oh my gosh! The Master and Margarita is my favorite book and I've been getting vibes that you've read it since I started listening to Eldermourne!

Bec Robson

Aw listening to this since ep 28, bukvar and spritel :(
