Dmkampz

Can you explain the Zonk zonk at the Honk honk? I’d really love Murph’s opinion on it.

Barback of Penance

Murph’s turf question here. Have you thought of who might be guest starring in the campaign? Would love to see Lou or Ally!

Emily Lalande

In the holiday spirit — what would any of your PCs give each other as holiday gifts? Bahumia, Trinyvale, Eldermourne, and/or even the Hot Boys. Much love and happy holidays!

Ryan Coogan

Caldwell has mentioned that he sometimes imagines the campaigns/one shits as if they were animated. Is there a difference in the animations styles he pictures for Bahumia vs Eldermourne (vs Donkey Kong, Hot Boy Summer, etc)?

Daniel James

Hello! Do you all discuss how you picture different scenes or NPCs after playing? Have there ever been surprising differences? Loving Eldermourn!

TimidSock

I love Nadpod because you guys manage to publish a two hour episode of polished dnd stuff every week. Most podcasts only do 1 hour every other week, how does murphy manage that? Do you guys make DnD content full time? Thanks! Have a great holiday

Bryan Martin

Jake, would you consider trying to dm, and if so, what type of game would you run.

Cookie

How’s it feel bouncing around levels like this? Emily especially, but I guess all of you too, going from level 3/4 to 20 and presumably back down to that 3/4 range must be confusing, I know I felt that way when I bounced between my level 20 and level 5 campaigns.

Calvin J Andrews

My head cannon is that Hardwon's new body came from the sea in hot boy summer, any thoughts on this?

Joseph M McDevitt

I feel like Caldwell would be a very fun college of creation bard. I think he would have fun making dancing item. Any interest?

I am a new DM. how can I help my players be more engaged in the game?

King of the City Pigeons

Murph and Emily: I play DND with my wife and have noticed that no matter her character there are always parts of her personality that come through. Have you noticed constant character traits with each other’s characters?

2026-09-17 02:00 Emily: you’ve mentioned enjoying some Discworld books. I would wholeheartedly recommend the entire series especially the character ‘Spike’ first seen in ‘Going Postal’. To everyone, what changes or additions would you like to see in the next edition of D&D (e.g. possum companions/lawyers)?

Julia V

If the Boobs or Choo Choo Crew were a Christmas song, what song would they be?

Ian Fildes

Would the band of boobs ever consider doing a rap song and posting it up. Just think there’s lots of potential there.

Graham

Level 4 choo-choo crew vs level 4 BoB, who wins?

Elizabeth

Hi Friends! My question is a bit crunchy, but it’s my go to icebreaker for my players. If your character from Campaign 2 could create a PC, what race and class would they play?

Ophelia Black

How do you find the energy to write such masterful art in a time of pain?

Dave 3D Art

Hi, last weeks Donkey Kong one-shot has left me with two major questions in regards to the Congo Bongo timeline. First of all, did any of the Kongs bend the knee to Thiala in their timeline? Secondly does Zinkie the Zard exist in the main timeline? Thank you very much, I hope you all have a lovely Coconite.

Sir Humphery

What are the winter holidays like in Eldermourne? I know Frostwind had “holiday cheer” and want to know what it would be like or if there was any winter holiday celebrations in the new setting.

Nicole

If your current Eldermourne character were to be on a game show, which one would it be? What’s been an unexpected benefit of recording remotely? Also can we get a Sebastian Fenrose ghost plushie that screams “MY BOOOOONNNEEESSSSS” when you squeeze it?

Eagledink

Murph and em- I know you guys used to play WOW and you talked about it quite a bit on 8BitBookClub- have you ever thought about coming back ?

Supsupcool

What enemy or enemies do each player wanna see the fight with the crew

Tim Price

The setting and characters of thornekirk seem a lot more fleshed out and in depth then compared moonstone. What do you think are the positive/negative impacts of this are?

Jazzypiantrum

Murph do you think you write your story for the characters, or for the people who play them? I.E do you shape the story based on the choo choo crew or by Emily and Caldwell?

Katheroony

Please don’t ever release the letter! I much prefer the mystery and I don’t think anything could live up to what I have in my head.

Tom Sutton

Hey choo choo crew! Now that you're back at a lower level, I'm curious to know: what level range do you enjoy playing in the most? And as an addendum for the Direct Messenger: what levelled group of characters is your favourite to DM?

blob209

What is your favorite homebrew character idea that you've heard of?

The Great Zarquon

If you rolled your dream characters right now, what class and race would they be?

Noah

Murph, how do you come up with your worlds/ maps, I’m currently writing a campaign and want to figure out how to best create a world that feels lived in and somewhat fleshed out with room to grow.

Manuel Espinoza

For the choo choo crew, smooth or crunchy peanut butter and why?

Hat Trick

If your characters could be a power ranger, which color would they be and if so which series of power Ranger would they be? Yes I’m completely serious about this.

Elias Wilson

Hey friends one and all! To all of you, do you think that interesting characters supersede optimized ones? In a campaign I’m playing I’m a Warlock/Barbarian which I recognize is not a “good” multi class per se but it makes for a way better role playing experience. Other members of my party have said I should have picked something more useful to combat. Are they right? Thanks! You’re all amazing. Especially Emily. No offense fellas.

Mikey Malikowski

Jake, if you had to play any fullcaster, what class would you prefer the most and why?

Fraser Connell

For Christmas my DM gave the whole group cool homebrew items, except me - I got a moon sickle (I am a gloomstalker ranger X rouge) .... do you think he hates me lol

Robert Chapman

Campaign 1 throwback DM question, I loved the way you leveraged family for the PCs stories, 3 out of 5 of my players have no family (space campaign, aliens be weird) - what other things can I do for 'dealing with the past' sessions?

Casey Brenner

I want to recycle my thanksgiving Q!! If you were in a secret Santa within the Bahumia-verse, who would you want as your giftee and gifter?

Taylor cohen

Do you think hank takes cialis?

Justin Chrisco

What magical item would yall want to have in real life?

Cristian Perez

Could y’all release the breakdance cut?

Brad Slavin

About to create my first character for our group’s second campaign. This pod is a huge inspiration. What are your priorities when crafting a character from scratch, not just to make it powerful, but fun to play?

Yusuf Qureshi

Are jake and Caldwell planning on doing any multi-classing? Hank is looking at being a brawler so maybe getting some monk levels in would work well?

Jay V

hey! the third mates seem to have a bit of a darker vibe as a whole than the band of boobs did (even towards the end) - emily has mentioned some of the reading and music she's been engaging with to prepare for the vibes of this new world, but is there anything in particular anyone's doing to prepare for the... bleakness of the world of eldermourne? what major inspirations go into the characters and their backstories and relationships with the world around them?

Connor Noonan

Hi guys! Hope y’all staying safe and having a merry ol time over the holidays. For Honk, Bonk and Zonk, what magic item would you want your characters to have? Practically or coolness factor would love to know!

Jack McAlevey

For Murph and Caldwell - As a DM who hopes to run a campaign reaching to level 15-20, can you describe how you designed exciting and engaging combats and obstacles for such powerful characters?

Michael Critz

I asked before, but I’ll ask again… will we ever have a Hardwon/Hank odd couple-runs-a-gym crossover called “Hot Plates”?

Andrew E

Emily, how would you describe your irl personal relationship with possums?

Ivan Ramos

What are the holidays like in Eldermorne? I just like knowing what kind of traditions other worlds may have. (Even holidays like the infamous, but hilarious in retrospect, Life day holiday special)

Alex C

Hi everyone, what do you think your characters would get each other for Christmas/Crickmas/the holidays?

Steven Hoffart

Murph question: What are the races, if any, in Eldermourn? Are you going to keep everything human variant or is there certain cultures or evolved races less like humans in the world that we will encounter later?

Jason Matthews

Oh my god this is the greatest week of my life, I work graveyard shift and you, Murph, Jake and Caldwell are life savers( cause without you guys I'm sure I would fall asleep and be promptly fired) so keep up the good work!

Rintoul

If Daddy Murphy could replay one "boss" battle which would it be and why? Also which encounter was his favourite to run?

Travis

Question for Jake: have you considered taking a peek into the Direct Messages and DMing? Would love to see your perspective and maybe watch you DM for Amir.

Tasha Quiett

Whats your favorite "Nat 20" moment?

shane morris

I'm running my first campaign as a dm . Murph how do you manage atmosphere for a campaign? And if the crew could tell us any of the things murph does to help them feel connected to their characters. I have someone who is playing a path of devotion paladin and is struggling finding his motivation. Love the show!

JeeringTyrannosaurus

Date night: each member of the Band of Boobs and Choo Choo Crew have a date coming up. How do they set the mood; what’s for dinner, do they get/make drinks, and what activities are lined up for the evening?

Devlin Macpherson

Zonk bonk gronky gonk? Dronky stonk, bonk wonk tonk! Honky vonk shonk sonk konk?

Sarah

emily i beg u for a reading list

Dominic Brown

I noticed for this campaign, the DnD races aren't as prominent. I personally really enjoy that, but I also wonder how this affected the roleplay? Will there be similar dilemmas that Moonshine had with her longevity vs Hardwon's? Or does everyone age at the same rate (excluding magical immortality?)

Arwyn Robinson

Do you think covid and needing to record via zoom has made the podcast better in anyway? Are there things about recording remotely that have made things easier or that you'll miss once you can record in person again? Or are you like "naw fuck that in person ftw!"

Lex Flexington

Will we ever see another All-Nighter stream?

Jamie Matthews

If you could have one spell-- any spell-- and you could cast at will once a day, which would you choose and why?

FiendishNoodles

I love your work with Ren/Wren (sp) and generally the breadth and quality of material dunking on elves. Any tips on making similarly fun, annoying, dunk-worthy dwarves? Please bribe a doctor in your fan base for vaccines so you can do a live show in Hawaii.

H-Train

where did the arc names (i:e mage madness, frostwind chronicles, a faerie tale) go!? are such frivolities a thing of the past or will eldermourne be getting arc names? also ongoing petition to change the eldermourne crew’s official name from the choo choo crew to “the third mates”

Tanner Roman

We've had dm daddy murph, dm Maiden axford, dm uncle tanner -but when will we get dm estranged cousin hurwitz??

Rob T

Favorite holiday treat?

Holly Garrick

Is Bookvar friends with Fia's other books or is he seen as a teacher's-pet type amongst them? Alternatively, does he consider himself above the other books?

Xavier Brennan Brown

For Em: How do you picture Fia's chronal shift ability when roleplaying? Is it something you feel only Fia sees as like a vision or do you think everyone in the immediate area witnesses time shift? I kind of imagine that everyone feels it but they only have a feeling of deja vu or intense indigestion. lol P.S. Naddpod has been such a treat and I love the magic you guys create. thanks so much for everything you do. Happy Holidays B.O.B. (band of boobs!)

Arwyn Robinson

Emily, what has been your favorite piece of music you've written for the show and why?

Zoe Johnson

When will the Choo Choo Crew be visiting Kongo Bongo Island?

Tyler Draehn

Will the choo choo crew have their own DK adventures now that the DK arc is pretty much done in bahumia?? 😂

Robin Greer

If band of boobs and the choo choo crew teamed up, who all would pair off as besties?

Shannon Andreoli

What would your characters do in quarantine lockdown?

Chris

Love the podcast and I'm also a big fan of love, in this season of love and family can you all tell us the story of how you met your partners, and also the story of how you got all your pets

Flyermaria

Jake and Caldwell, any thoughts about multiclassing Henry or Zirk? If you were to multiclass, what would you pick?

Katheroony

Can we please please PLEASE get some Pentigreens merch?

Collin Weigle

Are you planning on having guests to appear with the Choo choo crew in the near future?

Ryan Coogan

Which two characters from across all campaigns would you most/least like to spend Christmas with?

PineappleLiar

Would you guys ever consider playing characters from classes for 5e released outside of the WotC content? I know Murph’s played that Beer Domain cleric, but do you think there’d ever be a game where someone decides to play a Blood Hunter, Gunslinger, etc.? I keep thinking about it cause there’s some really fun homebrew Witch classes out there that I could see you guys (Emily) having fun with.

Arwyn Robinson

Murph: have you ever considered doing a futuristic campaign with spaceships and laser beams and stuff? Would be interested to hear the crew navigate space and planets.

Emily E Morris

Thinking about getting a fish tank and wondered what kind of fish the Band of Boobs/Retrieval Team 22/Bon Freres/ChooChoo Crew would be? Both salt and fresh water are an option. -Emily (aka kipper24601)

Matthias Woeckener

Murph, Are any of the NPCs you've created thus far inspired by anybody in your personal life, or do you typically derive them from characters in the fictional worlds you enjoy? PS: I got so excited when a random knight saved a couple Boobs, because that was the first time I have ever heard anybody in media get pumped because of a character that shares my name did something awesome. It truly warmed my heart and solidified my love for everything you guys do. Sincerely, Matthias (not of house crit)

Cy_ann

I have a Question for Murph. I know that in some points during the first campaign the Boobs would sometimes absolutely destroy bad guys extremely quickly, even when they were supposed to be difficult. Is there any time that something like that happened and it shifted the story/forced you to change how you would implement that part of the story?

Daniel L Hodson

Have yall been watching any new anime? Im super into Jujutsu Kaisen right now

Cj Ferrigno

What was Murphs original plan for Pendagost the Betrayer?

Fetterccino

What level, and class, is our dearest Sewastion after a whole day of questing and killing a man in cold blood?

jada

What holidays do they celebrate in Eldermourne?

2026-09-17 02:00 Jake and Caldwell, if Sus and Jill were FORCED to play D&D and you had to recommend a character for them to play, what class would you pick and why? Also how much trouble would your marriages be in if they were forced to play? 😂

Scott

What kind of self care would Beverly, Hardwon, and Moonshine indulge in to stave off the blues?

Kira

For Murph - when the Boobs first arrived in Shadowfell there was a scene where Bev's blood was getting sucked out of him into the surrounding fog. I'm pretty sure you had Bev roll for something (can't remember what), but whatever it was didn't come up again. What was the deal with the blood, and what could have happened that didn't?

Keithan Denkinger

Hey all! Long time listener, first time writer. Question for Murph: How much of the lore/quest/world/etc. of Bahumia did you have planned/written before the first session? As a general question, how much do you plan for a campaign at its inception? Do you have the entire plot arc already written, or do you only plan what’s immediately happening, and plan the next “arc” as you’re fleshing out the current one? I’m interested in DMing, and I’m not sure how much or little I should have planned before the first session. As always, I love everything you guys put out, and look forward to seeing the Choo choo crew ruin Murph’s life.

Mitchell Murphy

Hope to see more Bloodborne references, maybe some hunters or trick weapons make a sinister appearance.

Claire M

Hi, just wanted to check in with whoever's reading this. How are you? Are you eating enough vegetables? I hope you're having a good holiday season, whatever you celebrate. Drink some water and think of me, another random commenter. I love you.

Jack Campau

For anyone: What are your thoughts on a subclass whose negative modifiers becomes a positive? I've been throwing around the idea of making a set of subclasses where, for example, a wizard with a negative con score gets to add additional damage to his spells, or a barbarian thats so dumb he gets bonus weapon damage. Basically it would work like you're subtracting a negative to make a positive! It just felt like a really rules crunchy way to get characters into rollplaying the "bad" parts of their character as well and rewarding them for it. Your thoughts?

james_in_space

world-building question: how much do you plan out the backstories of the PCs before you start playing? and how much PC backstory is created by the players themselves (as opposed to created by the DM)? would be interesting to hear about this aspect of the non-Eldermourne campaigns too!

NajwaOfTheGrave

Hey! I’m a new DM generally doing one or few shots, do you guys have any tips for creating npcs that are generally gonna be around for a very short period of time, so I want to make them memorable but... efficient?

Destiny Rector

My coworkers and I like to try and place each other into classes based on our personalities and hobbies, if you had to put yourselves or each other into classes this way what would you be?

Sir Humphery

For Murph: What’s after Congo Bongo Island? Is the band of boobs going to ruin the lore of any other niche 90 memorabilia?

Noah Kyle

Any plans for a b campaign a la trinyvale? You know we all wanna see jake dm 👀

Danny K

Hello from the UK! (Leeds - Yorkshire). Have as Merry a Christmas as possible! What kind of festive heroes feast would moonshine prepare for the band of boobs? PS: You guys inspired me to play and DM for a bunch of my friends during lockdown and we have now been going for 6 months! Thanks so much for the weekly entertainment and for making me laugh hysterically while walking down the street.

Those who love and give where they can

Dearest Murph-Master: I am a brand new DM, and am currently running a one-shot adventure called “Lets Kill the Moon” by RaptorHeist. I did my first session yesterday, and my players had fun, but we were... loose with the game mechanics. How did you develop such a good blending of mechanics and story as a DM?

Jan Endresen

Hey:) For DMs (Brian, Caldwell, Emily), is there any event/location/interaction you spent a long time planning that never made it into the podcast? Happy holidays :) xoxo

Sydney Ess

Question for everyone: what are your characters zodiac signs?

Kyle Smith

Murph: OMG, what was going to happen if the Band of Boobs didn’t give Diddy Kong a banana when they arrived at the island?!

travis faul

Question for merph have you ever though of a one shot where the crew knows nothing of class and they have to discover their class that could be interesting.

Matt Solarczyk

For Murph: I am a new Dm and I have my first session in a month. How can I engage my players in the world, and how do I prepare for unexpected zaniness?

Dmkampz

Who would Henry’s Steel Cage Match Wrestling partner be? NWO, WWE, who ever!

james_in_space

very open question: is there anything that’s happened so far in Eldermourne that you (players or DM) would have handled differently in a home campaign as opposed to for a podcast?

raiu

Not sure if you ever talked about it, but what are your favorite multi-classing combinations that you maybe wanna try someday? doesn't matter if it's because of cool abilities that work well together or simply thematics that match nicely.

Micah Edmonds

Hey all! Big love from Australia. Question mainly for Murph but the others also - Is the Big Bad of Campaign 2 planned out yet? Thialah was such a fantastic villain that acted like a shadow over everything the BoB did for such a length of time - has Murph got any ideas to make the main villain different in any major way, and what do each of the players think a big bad could do to scare each of their characters the most?

2026-09-17 02:00 Hello Emily, Jake, Caldwell, and Murph! I have been loving the Podcast and you all are responsible for my growing love of D&D! My question for all of you would be who do you have in line to make a guest appearance in the newest campaign? My vote is for Lou Wilson! You all rock and are the highlight of my week!

Nicolas P.

For Murph, Caldwell, Emily, and Jake, what would your real life skill proficiencies be? Love the pod and keep it up

James Wagner

Just like campaign 1 made the mawmaw possum show up, I’m convinced that Henry’s love of the bills has made them do so well this season, is there anything else that campaign 2 has predicted in your lives yet?

Dippity_Dip

Question for everyone but Jake (sorry Jake): what’s been your inspiration for moments in your campaigns on NADDPOD? I always sit in awe at how in depth and cool your stories and adventures are, so I would love to know what kinds of tales you have derived your own campaign ideas from!

Bo Jack’s Personal Steed

Question for Murph: First time DM I was curious if you had any tips for tying in backstory into your main plot line of the campaign. Very big fan of the show which is actually the cause of me playing dnd for the very first time, crazy to see where the pod has come and I’m already trying to DM for the first time! Love y’all!

InsertName

Have you every thought of trying a different roll playing system for a one-off? Example: World of Darkness, Exalted, Monster of the Week, Feast of Legend etc... If you guys do not know about Feast of Legend. It was made by Wendy's, and it was ridiculous :D.

Zach Stenzel

Hey Jake- poopoo peepee? Or peepee poopoo?

Caerezosa

To the Choo Choo Crew: what have been your favorite sources to draw for when naming things? I know Fia mentioned that she had Slavic roots so I was curious what other places you guys draw from. Thank you for all you do and Merry Eldermourne Equivalent of Crickmas!

Ryan Hill

Hi Naddpod I got a question for Murph. Now that we are in the fresh start of campaign 2 how have you been handling creating a new tone and atmosphere to set this world apart from bahumia while still keeping the overall silly vibe from Naddpod as a whole?

2026-09-17 02:00 This is a q for Murph! I'm so curious, how much of the campaign do you have planned, even if just in broad strokes? Do you know who the big bad is going to be? Love from Ireland <333

For Emily and group - Bookvar is an amazing companion to Fia and I wonder, if you could befriend any book, which book would it be an why? P.S. love the show so much. You are all terrific story tellers it's . . . Completely ridiculous.

Warren Springer

Thoughts on a Charlie's Angels'esque one shot where Pendergreens directs Josh and other nasty hellboys on a quest to get more controllers for Rocket League and/or snacks

Noah James Perito

Question for Murph - I’m Listening to old 8-Bit Bookclub episodes - thoughts on an adventure book one shot? I can’t stop thinking about the two crew in Metal City

Jack M

Murph: what is one thing from each campaign you wish you didn’t let the gang make canon , a moment where they tried some bs and you let it slide but it affected other things later in the campaign(1or 2)

Dace Ruthven

I am almost 30 years old and I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I feel like I have been dunked on by life. My waking mind and my sleeping mind razz me incessantly. Should I start smoking cigars?

Talia

Will there be more donkey kong specials in the future and what holidays might you all pick for the specials?

The Wizard Snoop

Happy holidays! I really love the world's you've created and developed on the podcast, but are there any official settings you'd want to run? I personally love the new Theros book.

Emily Kelly

this is more for murph and emily! is it ever weird to have to see your partner role play romantically with someone else? obviously it’s just to tell a good story, but does it ever get like a smidge uncomfortable seeing someone that you’re married to get so invested in a fake character thats also played by one of your best friends? i hope you guys have a wonderful holiday and here’s to another year full of laughs !! ❤️

Samuel Burris

Hey Jake release the letter... lol But on a more serious not have you guys considered doing a live show on a digital platform? Streaming a session where people could tune in live? Just a thought I’ve had and thought I would share

The Sandreyan

If the meaning of life is food.... what is better Turkey Duck or Chicken for an xmas dinner? And would it include bananas on Congo Bongo Island?

Nicole Jordan

Are there any books/tv shows/movies that remind you of NADDPOD?

Nicole Jordan

What are your favorite DnD podcasts?

Nicole Jordan

What's something that you've stumbled upon/decided while playing a character that surprised you?

Dylan Gardner

What would hank's favorite christmas dish be? I could see it being either mediocre ham or cranberry sauce 😂 love you guys

Nicole Jordan

Murph, Caldwell, and Emily what have been your favorite moments to DM?

Chloe L

You guys probably get asked this a lot but is there a chance we could ever see a crossover between NaddPod and Dimension 20 or is that some kind of rights issue? I’d love to see the Band of Boobs or the Bon Freres meet the Bad Kids or the heroes of the Unsleeping City! Either way love the work y’all do and thanks for keeping our spirits up through these hard times!

2026-09-17 02:00 Hey gang! Long time listener, first time inquirer! (Feels like writing to old friends) One thing I love about this podcast is that you guys get to create really awesome characters that you're excited about! But, do you have any character alignments, races, or classes that you feel you couldn't (or simply wouldn't want to) play? I feel like you can learn a lot about someone based on the characters they play in D&D, so maybe avoided characters/characteristics could speak in similar volumes. With thanks and love, Sedona

I have a question for the DM's. I have been a DM for several campaigns with a few different groups. I have noticed that in all my campaigns, at least one PC has witnessed the death of a parent. I don't do this intentionally, but it is something that I have a habit of coming back to. Are there any habits that you find yourselves falling back on or repeating across campaigns? Thanks for being awesome humans! Happy Crickmas to you and yours!

Hope Wasson

How do you decide what features and traits to keep when multiclassing ?

Cameron McEwan

What food would each of your characters bring to a Christmas dinner?

Nicole Jordan

Do you set out with an ending place for the character's general arc in mind for your characters or do you go off of what the dice's story?

Sam Heap

I have 100+ blurays, my collection is expanding into my bookshelf, is this justified?

Elizabeth
>>49951388

I may not be part of the choo crew, but I really dig this concept! I might start working this into my home campaign, so thank you for a cool crunchy game mechanic.

panpolypuff

When you picture your characters and their worlds (any/all campaigns), what kind of art/animation style do you see?

Ola Aleksandra Hill

This might be silly, but: how do you start constructing the roleplaying aspects of a character? The voices, accents, and idiosyncrasies you've developed for the Eldermourne crew are so different from the Band of Boobs, for example--it's so impressive. I'm great at developing character traits, backstory, all that stuff, but when it comes to actually being in-game, I freeze up completely. Where do y'all start?

TubaGinger
>>49951835

Love this one. I know I’ve learned a lot from NADDPOD that I’ve applied myself.

Mark Mcknight

Emily loves a good multi-class. Do Jake or Caldwell have interest in following suit? If so, what combinations lie in store for Honk and Zonk?

Eric G

If the band of boobs or choo choo crew were to find themselves in the world of Naruto. What would be their special jutsu, who would they hangout with, and would they have a cool thing with their eyes?

Nicole Jordan

What's a creature you haven't encontered/used yet that you'd love to meet in a future/current campaign?

hunter vanover

would you ever consider doing a raffle or something where the winner got to join a sesh as a guest player?

ThatManGareth

For any of the DM daddies or duchess, how do you balance failures to keep things tense but not overly cruel. Have you ever strayed from your own original plan to help the players out?

Everett Pidgen

What does the crew think is awaiting them at the end of this journey? Like grand schemes or theories of who's pulling strings

Gus Rachels

What has surprised you the most about your new characters’ personalities as you get used to playing them?

Arwyn Robinson

There should always be a save for something like that. High stakes? Make a save.

Treanne Brown

My roommate insists that Moonshine and Hardwon are purely platonic. I can't believe he'd think that they are not in love after all the buildup in C1, personally. Would Jake or Emily confirm the post-campaign romantic status of Hardwon and Moonshine?

BeskarBoi

Canonically, did star spawn create and influence the band of boobs' love for the silent worm? Will we see a dance battle between the spawn and the boobs? Is Emily's new connection to the purple worm make her a queen of some sort? These questions haunt me.

Emilio Gomez

Hey Emily! Do you think Fia got her habit of sprinting everywhere from Batilda? Or is running around something her strict father never allowed but Batilda encouraged? Either way, do both Fia and Batilda sprint around like a couple of maniacs when they are together? Love you guys, your laughs make me smile!

Harry B

Emily, does Fia take any inspiration from Nadja in What We Do in the Shadows?

Holden

One of my favorite parts about this pod narratively are the flashbacks. What are the logistics behind the planning/running of those? Do they players know they’re coming and know what happens since technically they’re in the past, or is it just as much a surprise as the present-day encounters?

2026-09-17 02:00 One thing I loved about the Choo Choo Crew/First Mates so far is how quickly you all bonded to each other and became friends for life. Is that something yall planned from the beginning or was it a natural thing yall just fell into? Or is it a product of this being a live play show that it makes more sense for yall to be a bonded trio? The Boobs felt pretty similar but Retrieval Team 22 took some time to get that way. Thanks to all of you for giving us such great story telling through D&D over the past few years and giving me ideas to steal for my own home game :).

Can we maybe expect another small campaign mixed in to campaign two like trinyvale? What is your favorite holiday season memories?

Miguel Fuentes

Hey Choo Crew, In my experience most PCs want tend to gravitate to young adult or teen characters. That's one reason why I think it's cool to see Jake playing Hank, being a middle age divorced man is a very different perspective. Do any of you think you would play a character who is even older (60+) and how would you play them?

Bulph

For Murph: Is there any reason in particular you seem to like playing Dirty rat men? Between Kugrash and Redd, they seem to be a favorite of yours and specifically will we be getting one for Eldermourne?

Eric G

For everyone: me and my friends all want to know what is up with your guys way of generating stats for characters? I find it interesting that you guys roll 5d6 and drop the lowest while I have always only rolled 4d6 and dropped the lowest. It is also interesting to hear you guys talk about how crazy it is to have 1 negative stat with the rest positive while most of the characters me and my friends make generally have 2 or 3 negative stats. How did it start? Any reason why you roll that way? Would you ever want to roll 4d6 drop the lowest? I need answers!

2026-09-17 02:00 Hi! Thank you for keeping us all going during the pandemic! I’ve re-listened to this podcast so many times over the last nine months, it has brought so much light to the darkness. My questions: How did the four of you end up doing D&D together? What was the catalyst? Also, I’ve always wanted to know, how did Em and Murph get together? I assume you both met at Collegehumor, but I could be wrong about that. Who shot their shot first? Love you all!

Moose and Orca

How do you create BBEG? Do you have an idea of what you want them to be and find what works or do you use a template and work with that?

TK Pitts

What would have happened if Fia had moved all of the copper to the other side of the scales on the statue outside of where they went in to meet Sadie’s ghost?

Austin Gumbiner

DM question! When starting to build a new campaign, where do you personally start? Do you have the Big Bad in mind from the jump, or does that come up later on? With world building, do you make a map first and populate the land with different settings, or do you let the storytelling influence the geography? I'm trying to build my first campaign that will hopefully be an ongoing game for everyone, but I'm getting bogged down with all the options and possibilities.

Marcel Martinez

Hey naddpod, this is a career question I guess but how can someone do what you all's do? Imagining either improvising characters going through a journey or creating worlds and narratives for a preformative podcast seems like a dream job. Any advice looking back on how to get where you all got? Thank you if you see this, and thank you for existing, you've brought so much joy to my world!

Eric G

What class, race, and background would best fit yourself if you were a dnd character? -for everyone

Kozak

Hey Jake, when you gonna DM? Seems like you’re up next. But who’s keeping track? 🙈

Oliver

If Your characters were to die, what class would you make to replace them?

Tim S.

I love your attitude toward "the dice tell the story" and being completely honest with dice rolls. But has there ever been a time when, as a player or DM, you were really tempted to fudge because you found yourself caring so much about the outcome? PS. Your DM style is my inspiration for all of the sessions I run. Keep being awesome 😎

The Mighty Wombat

How do you think the Choo Choo Crew would handle Kongo Bongo Island ? Ps: I cried laughing more then once

Caroline Martin

Hey gang! 🎨 If you could have any sequence from any of the NADDPOD collection animated, what bit would you want to see? Thanks for keeping my ears company during the pandemic! 💖

Ryan Bourne

For Murph specifically: A lot of campaign had a lot of 8BBC influences. How does it feel to expand away from that with Eldermourne?

FeyWyldRat

Who will be defending the ChooChoo Crew in case of a lawsuit?

Lucas Manubens

As a DM trying to run his first home-brewed campaign, I was wondering if you have any books about writing / improv that you like and would recommend. If not, is there a non Wizards of the Coast book that you usually go to when prepping for a session? Happy holidays from Chile!

Mattie Honda

Hello Choo-Choo Two Crew! I've been a fan of all of you for years now, but this is actually my first time commenting. Thanks for keeping me company during all-nighters, long drives, and quarantine. My question is if you could take a character you've played before (Eldermourne/Bahumia/Hoy Boy Summer/Trinivale) and drop them into a new system/genre (Starfinder for sci-fi/Call of Cthulu for horror/etc.), which character would you pick and for what genre? I personally think it'd be hilarious to see Moonshine in a hi-tech setting, and I think Henry would fit perfectly in a horror noir setting.

Patrick Schiller

If you had to do a cross over episode with some of your character over all the campaigns what would it look like? Like Hungry Dave, Moonshine, and Nyack teaming up for some various reason

Hannah McFarland

Question for Emily: I feel like Fia is based off another campaign you have done that maybe Murph has talked about on another podcast. Is this true or am I making it up?

The Third Rat Queen Zelda

Question for Murph: How do you decide what worldbuilding stuff to focus on and what stuff to scrap? Also thabk you all for doing this podcast, it kept me from going insane during the beginning of the pandemic.

rando

Would you all ever consider doing a sci-fi campaign? Someone made a star wars 5e homebrew thats been gaining some traction. Would love to see the boobs as jedi students haha

Scott M

Question for Jake! How does Hank Hogfish feel now that the Buffalo Bills have won their division for the first time in 25 years? Could it be that they are actually sapping Henry's luck from him? Is Henry's true curse that the better the Bills play, the worse his life becomes? Also, please come to Buffalo when the world returns to normal! If you like Manchester and Pittsburgh, you'll love the working-class, hard-partying vibes here. (If it helps you can call us Buffhumia, the Buffeywild or Bonfrerelo.)

Julia Austin

With the large world of Eldermourne still to be discovered, what is everyone most excited to explore/encounter in this new world? What about is currently tickling your interests to learn more about? Also, what ideas of this world do you think Murph may have planned for you all? As a player I have found that I have given my dm the most ideas by just going “what if this were to happen?” And then dm whomps me.

DrVonStreusel

We know that the Band of Boobs have gone to Kongo Bongo Island and have met Donkey Kong, but will the Choo Choo Crew go to Green Hill Zone and meet Sonic?

Liolie

Bonfrere Winter Arc when?

Element

GUT ANSWER: The Boobs, Retrieval Team 22, The Bonfreres, and the Choo Choo Crew have their own lunch tables. Where do you sit? AND where would you have sat in high school?

Paul Villanueva

You mentioned that you would like to have Lou Wilson and Ally Beardsley are going to be on the podcast on some point...any other guests you're thinking about? I'd love to see Geoffrey James and Reilly Anspaugh!!

Mel R

When building a character, what is the first thing you like to do- decide your class, roll your stats, think about the backstory, etc? Does it vary by character?

Sam Moore

How would the band of boobs get along with the choo choo crew?

Bonky Fiasco

Now that it's winter, any chance we'll get the ski trip one-shot of Hot Boy Summer?

Nick Garito

Been wondering this since campaign 1. What would you do if you get to the big bad boss fight at the end and had a total party kill? Restart campaign? Bad guy wins?

Kormaq Saltspray

Paw-paw, Caw-caw, Jaw-jaw, Obsidian, Bookvar, Spritle, Shank; Royal rumble to the death Thunderdome style. Who wins?

Ming Wang

Will Yugo be back this year?

Jess

Hi First Mates! Loving the new campaign. My question is: How has it been playing these new characters? Do the new characters have any emotional ties to the Band of Boobs? If so, what similarities would you say you took from the Band of Boobs that are a part of the Choo Choo Crew?

DrooDroo

Murph, if you had a total part kill this early into campaign 2 how would you carry on? Would you have another few introductory episodes to a new party? Leave little clues about the dead party's backstories that never got fulfilled? How willing are you to let a tpk happen?

Two Deers Beep

What did you learn from the first campaign that you brought into this campaign for all of you

Oriana Mulatero

Question for Emily— I am copying your mini-campaign, “hot boy summer” but putting it in a new skin, in another season and calling it “chill girl winter”. Is that okay? I’m relistening to each episode and taking notes but I’m really nervous. I also got the PDF from the Patreon about the kelp forest encounters but putting them in a winter setting. Do you have any tips for this first-time DM?

Nye-Low

Have you considered a Teenage Mutant Ninja Tortles one off or mini campaign? I’ve got one of my friends on board with this and wants to be Casey Jones tavern brawler.

Hoid's Friend

what was your favorite nat 20 or nat 1 from any campaign you've played?

Gudni Lindal

Murph, which is your favourite character voice to do and why is it Pendergreens?

Tyler Nelson

Question for Murph- how much of the story do you have planned out in your head at this point in the new campaign? Do you usually plan for an episode or 2 at a time or do you have an idea for the overall story at this point? Love everything you guys do and keep up the awesome work!

Torrey Smith

What are your favorite combats in NADDPOD history? I’m currently creating a battle scene with lots of enemies and interactive weapons/defenses, and would love to hear what you all thought made certain fights so memorable. Happy Holidays, thanks for making a long commute feel a lot shorter.

Scott Boegeman

The 2 crew and the choo choo crew are invited to a high school prom. Who do they invite as their date, how do they do it, and how hard do they get shot down?

Matteo Cina

Hi guys, I took your advice and named my DND cooking vlog Wizards of the Roast! If you could have one food dish from any of the campaigns exist in real life, what would it be?

A Brain In A Bucket

For each of your characters, who would enjoy which seasonal festive treat? Who likes candy canes, who likes mulled wine, who likes dancing naked around a bonfire on the winter solstice? (just kidding i know who dances naked around the bonfire on the winter solstice)

David Benson

If you could all each only choose one Pc from your three campaigns (Bahumia, Trinnyvale, and Eldermorne) to make a super team which group of Pc's would be the funniest group and or have the most interesting dynamic?

DieBard

Hello my lovely lads, dungeon docents, and dads, I had a question for Murph! I'm actually recording a podcast myself for my final film project in school, in lieu of a film (I'm currently in lockdown). I'm impressed with how quickly you're able to turn around episodes with effects. Murph, what is your editing workflow? Happy Honda Days!

2026-09-17 02:00 I am a crisis therapist for teens and I always think of how (and there's evidence to support this) roleplaying and d&d can really help with social anxiety and building emotional and self-awareness! If you are all comfy sharing, I'm curious if playing your characters (or any characters) have led to some personal growth, helped you work through an issue, or just gave you any catharsis? What'd that look like for you? work is tough, esp in this pandemic, and listening to your podcasts while i do paperwork has really gotten me through it. Not to mention, being a NADDPOLE really earned me some street cred with some of my kids! thanks for all you do! :)

How do you think the Band of Boobs and the Choo Choo Crew would react to one another? The extroverted jocks meeting the introverted nerds would be so fun ♥️

MaKayla Vaughn

Hey guys! Im a new patron and I was wondering if the Band of Boobs and the Choo Choo Crew met who would like or dislike who the most? Side character wise I think MeMaw would like Batilda and Paw Paw would eat Spritle.

Hello Choo Choo Crew! New patron here, so this may have already been discussed and I missed it but- can y’all talk about your pets? Names, personalities? 🥺 I love cats and hearing Em and Murph talk about their cats and possums makes me wanna know more!

Eric Soares

Hey! I'm loving the new arc so far. I've began smoking cigars, riding on cars and putting cocaine in my drinks and we're only on episode 8! My question, how much of your respective backstories do you come up with and how much does Murph surprise you with? I get chills thinking about these character's pasts and wonder how you all keep it together in the moment. (*cough* Henry *cough*)

RPKB

Hey gang! What is the Eldermourne equivalent of Crickmas/Galade-nukah?

Taylor Schult

What would your new characters want for a holiday gift?

jaydon

Also is there anywhere I can watch the black girls code live stream you guys did a couple months ago I want to watch it and it might be gone which would make me sad

Broghar The Bugbear

Hey Choo Choo Crew!! Happy Holidays from Icewind Dale! What gift would your characters get for eachother for this holiday season?

Adrian Ivashkov

I wanted to know if there's any way we're going to be able to see all of the spells the party knows? And why everyone picked them! Tenser's Floating Disk was a really interesting choice!

ShuntStub

How has the fact that these campaigns are for a podcast audience affected any of your major decisions either as a DM plotting and planning or as a character? What might have been some major differences if Bahumia had been a personal home campaign?

Holly

What's the magic item you've had the most fun with over the various campaigns?

Martin

Hi guys happy holidays! Out of all the merch that’s been sold either by you guys or the naddpod community, which have been your favorite (top three or so)?

Grace

Hi choo choo crew! I discovered the pod in March and got completely caught up by May! it really made my lockdown slightly more bearable! I remember in campaign one on short rests you would sometimes talk about books you read that maybe influenced your role play (Sanderson’s Mistborn, The Wheel of time series, etc). Is there anything you’re reading now that helps you get into the vibe of Eldermourne?

Hannah Osborne

Hey gang! Your podcast is definitely bringing some joy to a bummer of a holiday season where I can’t travel to be with my family! So thanks! Does Eldermourne have any wintry holidays it’s people celebrate? What are some of their traditions. If Emily, Jake, and Caldwell could make up one bonkers tradition that Murph would have to make canon what would it be?

SoupLightning

When is the Jake Hurwitz one shot coming to mixed bag and how does Zac feel about being a DM? From ep 1 id guess that Murph was listening in to give him some pointers afterwards?

Matthew Nielsen

A question for the DMs, specifically Murph. Has there ever been an NPC who you felt should have been more powerful based on who they were, but they couldn’t be based on when the party encountered them in the campaign? I feel like characters like Meemaw and Marabelle felt like they would be more powerful then they were, and do you up their power later in the campaign in they return?

Matthew Nielsen

Question for murph, Balnor was sort of your PC in the first campaign, and he came about very randomly. Are you planning on something like that for this campaign, where there is a fourth member mostly played by you? Would you write it in, or let it happen naturally, or do you want the party to stay how it is? Love the show!

Vie.

Any plans for an amir/fpk special?

Zach

Hi Guys long time listener (since the ezry arc) newish patron, I was curious if you’d ever do an early modern themed campaign that leaned more into some of the steampunk and arcane tech elements of bahumia and eldermorne or maybe confirming if you plan on having eldermorne dig into those elements a bit more as I found the arcane technology of the bubble city and airships of galaderon to be really interesting facets of the campaign that offer really good world building opportunities as well as interesting mechanics like the fight on the tram system in galaderon, also please do another Donkey Kong one shot! I’ve listened to the first one like 11 times and have listened to the new one at least four times, I find it crazy and bonkers in the best way possible and I nearly broke into tears when you red weddinged the cast of donkey Kong something I never thought I’d type!

Sherry YR

Wondering how you and murph handle being angry at each other in game and then how you go out of game, not bringing that into normal life? Also about to start dming my first game ever, how much of the campaign did you have set out and how much do you let evolve organically?

Brayden Rittner

Have you ever considered holy closet Pelor’s arc in C1 resembles that of Olaf from Frozen 2? Although the groundwork is laid with the Gith woman in the Astral plane mentioning it would be possible to resurrect a husk using a divine heart, I still think Murph is just as much of a coward as Disney is for not letting him stay dead.

Arwyn Robinson
>>49957539

I feel like bookvar is kinda his npc except bookvar doesn't get to fight really so it's a little different. However I do deeply enjoy Murph being able to give his input via Emily's familiar. LOL

John Taylor

Have you guys ever thought about doing an episode with player vs player combat with level 20 characters? I feel like it could be fun to see especially if you used rolled classes so you may have to use classes you’ve never used/don’t have as much experience on (or maybe just having the band of boobs fight as level 20 characters). Love the show and keep up the awesome work!

Anonymous

Happy Holidays from the UK! I’m just curious about how the character creation process went for Eldermourne, or is anything that yall do to help flesh out your characters while making them?

Garga Lenoir

Little lore question. When in hell Moonshine made contact with Maribel who apparently still lived in the fungus network, but we never heard from her again. What happened to her since then?

Merky Vids

So there's a DnD movie coming out, to either people's chagrin or elation. In Eldermourne: the Movie, what famous actors/actresses would you love to play the Choo Choo Crew? (Including Bookvar!)

2026-09-17 02:00 To indulge my 8-Bit Book Bud heart, since Congo Bongo Island exists in Bahumia, what video game realms exist in Trinyvale & Eldermourne? Is Hyrule Castle at the end of a forgotten forest path leading from Thornekirk? Or maybe Dr. Robotnik has a secret base on the dark side of the tiny moon? Y’all are the best!

For Emily - what is your music composition and recording workflow like? I ask because I'm looking at putting together a digital audio workstation for myself and wondered if you had any advice.

Victor T (Balnor's Boy)

What would each member of the BoB think of the chewchew crew? Don't forget Balnor! What are his thoughts too?

GREYFOX!!!!!

Question for the whole band, what made you particularly interested in playing dnd let alone creating a podcast for it.

Tyler Board

What's y'all's best cooking tips/advice (asparagus aside)?

Lady Nishi

Hi from SoCal my dudes!! Question I have is from any First Mates / Choo Crew / Band of Boobs which character would you guys actually cosplay or an outfit influenced by one!!! Much Love

William

BoB vs. FM at level 3. Which squad claps the other?

Robert Z.

Hey gang, I think all of you are great at having a wide range of character voices. What are your favorite voices to do? Which ones are easiest or hardest for you?

Toe-bean-wiggler

Howdy y’all! I have a question about Meemaw. At the beginning of the podcast, my understanding is that Meemaw has literally birthed every recent youngun’ (hence the dangerously fertile aspect of Moonshine). However, later on at the Crick it seems like everyone is interrelated but not necessarily THAT closely. Moonshine is also super pumped and surprised to meet her half brother later in Shadowfell. Was I wrong? Is Meemaw an honorary mother in a matriarchal sense or is she really a birthing machine?

Lauren

For Murph and Caldwell, how do you wear headphones and glasses without getting a headache? If I place the glasses on top of the headphones, the glasses are no longer imbedded in my temple, but I look silly. Is this the only solution? Is there another way? Thank you

Rachel Bakke

Question for all: How would your BoB character react to being hit with Feeblemind?

thedragonllama

If you all could play one of each other’s PCs (any campaign) for a Switcharoo One Shot, who would ya play as? Alternatively, if you did a mini arc as Bahumia NPCs, who would you play as?

Dani Sharkey

What kind of presents would you (the players) get your characters for the holidays? (Bahumia or Eldermourne!)

Julia Austin

Another quickie: what are some of the moments that made you guys go “now *that* is why I play dnd”? Love the show and everyone one of y’all💕

Donny

What makes Willie beloved and Denny despised? Narratively, they both had such similar introductions (incompetent and nervous) yet the BoB immediately turned on Denny, further defining him and all Pebblepots as cowards, while Willie was embraced and given a chance to prove himself in the fight against the Whitlocks.

Joseph Swenson

Out of all the npcs encountered playing dnd, which ones have been your favorites? What do you consider a good npc?

Joshua

How would your Band of Boobs characters react if they met the Choo Choo Crew? Would love to hear the gang's thoughts! PS. I teach high school science and often reference criting on homework (like one kid laughs per class). Thanks y'all!!

Max Telmer

To all - do you find that knowing where the DM is pulling inspiration from makes you enjoy the story more? Or less? Keep up the excellent work 🙂 can't wait to see some guests!

Frank Mastromatteo IV

Question for Bronk Monky: if you were to make a PC in Eldermourne, what type of character would you create and why?

Carlos Aguilar

Murph! You were able to express so much with Paw Paw’s reers (you even made me choke up once) any major differences with Bukvar because he speaks common? We know Bukvar’s secret profession as a talented chef much like Paw Paw’s career as a lawyer, does Bukvar have a hobby like Paw Paws sewing?

Michael Harding

Since the players had so much fun revisiting the Boobs for the DK one-shot, are there any plans to revisit them more often? Is there any possibility we see them come back for a mini-arc, or would it only be one shots? Is there anything in particular the players have always wanted to do as the Boobs that they never got to that we might see at some point?

Baron Breakfast

How are everyones pets/ strays/ possums? Merry Crickmas!

gnawford

Did you ever get my map layout for Metal City Mayhem?

Rheyn

Less of a question and more of an idea pitch, because at this point each of you have played multiple PCs, what do you guys think about a free-for-all PvP (maybe for a stream or a mixed bag) where each of you runs a 2-person team of your PCs? I imagine it being something like Murph comes in with Jens and Mac, Jake with 2 of Hardwon, JV, Nyack, Tread and Hank (this is why there's the 2-person rule), Caldwell with 2 of Bev, Dave and Zirk, and Emily with 2 of Moonshine, Onyx and Fia. You could scale everyone's power level to 5 or 10 so the older characters don't just stomp the competition, or make it 3-person teams and let Murph call in Balnor. Mostly I just want to see all the PCs getting a chance to roleplay with eachother, and an interdimensional battle royale made the most sense to me.

Morgan M

Did you have anything planned for your Campaign 2 character that did not come up or no longer felt right when you started playing them?

megan lee beals

Will there be a map for Eldermourne? It seems like the PCs are already familiar with places that we haven't seen yet in the podcast (which makes the setting feel enormous!), and I was wondering if the players have been helping to fill in some important places that we might see later on. Maybe on a map? The first eight episodes of Eldermourne have been thrilling and I'm really excited to see where the river leads out of Thornkirk!

Adam da Silva

The next time Emily is available for a live stream, could we see the in between breakdance please?

JohnnyB

What does Jake have in mind for his first campaign as DM?

Elisa K

Jake, how do feel knowing that Shank is the Gooigi to your Henry?

Dragothor

Why does Bukvar look so much like Cavill?

2026-09-17 02:00 How many signatures would it take to make Metal City Mayhem a D&D setting? Maybe this is Jake's one shot so the 8-bit book club can have one last shot at victory? Murph, I know your scruples make you feel like this is cheating, but the book sucks. Its not logical. Kill it already!

Have you ever considered a crossover with another podcast? Like NADDPOD x The Rotating Hero’s?

SirKnight Murph, Sir Knight Caldwell, and Knight Emily, how would you build rival groups to battle against any of the groups in all of the campaigns? A classic equal opposite anime episode

Somebody asked a similar question to mine back when Trinyvale started. How do you think your characters from Bahumia would get along with your characters from Eldermourne? Bonus question that is actually my real question: how much time did you all spend developing your characters, and how much input did daddy murphy have during their development?

Derek Zickert

Will there be a song written over Paw Paw beat boxing?

Elliott Woyshner

Emily, Murph and Caldwell - what surprised you most about the act of DMing?

Brendan Wohlers

Murph, what are the inspirational sources you pull from to give character to Fia's three books? Is there inspiration in your life that you might use for other non humanoid NPCs? I like the idea that people personify animals and objects, and you're giving them life!

Christian Smith

Greetings masters, would you ever have the Band of Boobs meet the Choo Choo Crew? If so, who would/wouldn’t like who

Scrotie Pippin

Emily always has bonkers character ideas. Any that murph had to shoot down for this new campaign because they were too rambunctious?

LowlyWorm

have y’all considered the name Crew Two for the choo choo crew?

Will

Hello big time fan here, just wanted to know if you would ever consider doing crossover one shot or mini arc. Where the band of boobs team up with with Retrieval team 22, Choo Choo Crew or even The Bon Frères?

Sabrina Bernaby

This is a question for just the players (sorry Murph you’ve gotta sit this one out😂) but what are your guys’s theories for the future of Eldermourne? Do you have and suspicions about the people from your past (like Batilda or Henry’s son), the petty king, the blades, or maybe Henry’s curse? I love the podcast and it always puts a smile on my face each week!!! Happy Holidays!!🎄❤️

K

A dope live show would be when Pendergreens finally gets his Feychella 2023 tickets you guys sent to hell as the boobs lol

Alyssa I.

Happy holidays in the warm california sunshine! I've been curious but what are all Crickmas/Crit-mas/holiday traditions of all the band of boobs, choo choo crew, and RT 22? I could see Eldermourne with a cool Nightmare before Christmas crossover so finger crossed.

Emma Horton

In the wake of the tremendous success of the first campaign , did creating campaign two feel like higher stakes? In what ways does campaign 2 feel different than the first?

Paterson Lewis

Hiya! I think one of the questions we all want answered is: Will Tread Nevers ever land a gig at FeyChella, and if so, would the Bon Frès be there for their boy, or be distracted by the resident Tris’s? :P You are all absolute inspirations and bloody legends! Keep up the good work xoxo

Joy Turiano

What colors do you associate your characters with?

Cody W

If the choo-choo crew met the boobs and the triplets, what would they think, how awkward would that scampi party be?

Josh Meier

Does Murph try to implement all his creative and interesting characters into his campaigns or does he put any away so he may one day play them himself?

Cisco Garcia

What’s up homies/gang !!!! What actors or actresses would you guys like to be casted as the Choo Choo Crew ??? I was thinking a disheveled Mark Wahlberg for Henry, Daniel Radcliffe for Zirk, and Saoirse Ronan for Fia (shes not tall but I feel as though she can do a great European accent!!!) Thank you all so much for doing what you guys do, I couldnt get through quarantine without y’all !!!!

Jason Maurer

Greetings again from an American in Sweden! Love these Hearthside Chats and pretty much all you guys do! Do any of you guys have any ideas for more one-off, Hot-Boys-of-Summer style campaigns? Or like Emily's brilliant dark one-shot? Maybe with young Jake as DM? :D Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas!!!

Ben Kloosterhouse

Hey guys! I want to start this off by saying how much I love the show! I was always interested in DnD but never really had anyone to play with until I got my friends and colleagues to listen to the show. Now I am apart of two different campaigns! I’ve had a blast in both campaigns and look forward to them every week!..... Now for my question, which is for the DMs of the group (Sorry Jake!)... has there been something, in any of your campaigns, that the party missed?Something that they overlooked or failed a check on?

Jason Maurer

Hello again, had another question—out of all the characters that you've introduced Murph, which ones have you most enjoyed roleplaying?

jedijames2

Hi! After listening to your show for quite some time I think I’ve finally convinced some friends to play an RPG with me (with only minimal kicking and screaming on their end). With the pandemic still going on we will have to start by playing online and I’m interested in recording the audio of our sessions (mostly for posterity, partly because I’ve been trying to beef up my editing skills this year). What programs would you recommend for recording our online sessions and/or what does your setup look like when you guys record NaDDPod? Thanks!

Colin Riley

@Murph, would you be willing to share what, if any, plans you had for if Honk Honkfish had beaten Fergus in the boxing match? Be it through Fia rolling better to hide that she helped Hank or Hank just rolling amazing in general to win the fight fairly.

alethea

how do you think your histories in improv and sketch writing affect your gameplay?

itamar mendelson

To Murph: Re-listening to the first campaign, I feel that one of the biggest differences between Bahumia and Eldermourne so far is how important or unimportant race is in each universe. In the first campaign the characters' races and their relationship with their race was one of the main things that informed their identities, Moonshine and the cricks\high elves, Hardwon and humans\dwarves and later half-elves, and Bev's halflingness... What made you decide to mostly take race out of the equation in Eldermourne and how do you feel it has affected the campaign so far?

Ryan Budde

1) Multiclassing always seems more enticing at higher levels (i.e. Deadeye). If you had to start a character at level 10, would you multiclass? What split? 2) How have the story and jokes changed the characters so far? For example, Henry appears to be becoming primarily a fist weapon user instead of his initial (lance? halberd?).

Thomas Troy

If the Crystal Coconut is so powerful why didn't Thiala steal it and use it to win? What if Ilsed and Funky Kong teamed up and used the Coconut to start a Vest Empire?

Are there any other centaurs in bahumia or is it just pieter? Also, who do you think would win: an army of centaurs or an army of men on horses?

Do you ever talk in a voice just because or drop into a character to react to something? Love the show and all the hard work you put in, happy holidays!

Is there an Eldermorne or Bahumia version of Chanukah?

Kalleberg

This is not even a question, I'm demanding a oneshot where Jake is the DM.

Vonvonvon

Will Eldermoure have its own "Balnor"? I was thinking an ex strongman who was cast out of a evil menagerie for being to dumb to be bad.

Julie Westra

This question is for any campaign. What song would be your characters entrance music?

Nikki Lynn

Not a Campaign Question but a player question for Emily. First off, you are my player rolemodel. Your creative plans and use of spells, your builds that are fantatsic, your roleplaying and characters that are hilarious, yet deep. Anytime I do something clever with my druid spells, or come up with a cool plan, I always joke that I'm chanelling "Axford Energy". I'm wondering if you've ever dealt with negitivity for your characters at other tables you've played at. My last campaign, I played a character that I wrote to take more of a side role so I could learn the rules. Now that I'm more comfortable with the game, my current character was built to take a more active role, and I've started to face backlash from another player. Small things like him disregarding my ideas, accusing me of Metaing because my character knows diffrent information from him, butting in while I roleplay to take the attention away from me. Since I'm the other female, I'm often told that I'm "over-reacting". I guess I'm wondering have you ever experienced things like this(i want to clarify, question is not about toxic fans... but just players you've played with)? And how have you worked through it so you don't loose the magic with your character and still enjoy the game?

Emily D

Do you have any inside jokes that originated from recording the pod that you bring up off mic?

The Plum Satyr

What are your and your characters Pokemon starters

Dana A

happy holidays Daddy Murph and gang! if there was a holiday season in Eldermourne similar to ours, what traditions do you see the Choo Choo Crew having in their pasts or wanting to establish with each other now that they're friends forever? much love to you all, thanks for all of your hard work!!

Hayden Saxon

What do you think the Choo Choo Crew would think about the Band of Boobs if they met them? (and vice versa)

Crescent Minor

I'm interested to hear from any of the DMs if you run through sections of it yourself while you build it, like playtesting a level when making a video game. Does the creative process of a campaign benefit from that sort of thing, or because it's collaborative in ways other forms of art are not, do you find it needs entirely its own process?

Crescent Minor
>>49979275

Ooh, can I add to that question? Emily, Murph, what are some tips and tricks for cleaning up audio that you hear other people miss and you notice it every time?

Maia Costea

As we're all excited to throw 2020 in a trashfire, wondering while looking back, which moments from any of the Adventures made you cream your jeans the most. Happy Holidays and much love from Romania!

Grant Klein

Will there be any side campaigns similar to trinyvale during campaign 2? Love you guys, you’ve been the only good part of 2020.

Dawson Mudd

In your home games or streamed games what your favorite finisher

Mel R

Are there any home-brew rules you have experienced in a campaign that you feel should be applied to all campaigns?

Kora la Bora

Do you have any holiday traditions that are unique to you? For example, in my house we put candy canes on the tree and those need to be eaten by the end of Christmas Day

Jeff Sparrow

Question for Murph. I'm not 100% certain if this hasnt been asked before, but how do you come up with your NPCs? Are they based off of people you know? Or characters in fiction?

Rkds

To the boobs, what piece of advice would your campaign 1 character give your campaign 2 character?

Jeevs Cas

Hello from Down Under! Love the pod guys, I look forward to it every week. I have a question for all the players; if you could play as one of the villains throughout all the campaigns done, who would you play, and what alignment would you play them as? Hope you and everyone listening have a wonderful holiday and a brilliant new year!

Good Guy Josh

ADM of mine is having some confidence issues how do I let them know they’re doing a great job, because simple words and affirmation don’t seem to be enough.

Sawyer Erstad

What's the best way to handle a big and unexpected character moment/decision? Like when Hardwon decided to kill Galad (the first time) or if Moonshine had chosen to wear the Hellfire Crown?

What do the band of boobs want for krikmas and what do they get each other and their loved ones? Does eldermourne have somethin like krikmas?

AJ Carreau

Do you think you’ll ever have guest on the pod from the Patreon?

Groove819

Do you have a break down of the number of play each episode have (I sometime skip some sode/relisten some more than once)? If so any surprise (ie episode with far more play than other)?

Skyler Morford

Should DM’s make big moves to player characters to move to advance the story? For example my DM killed my party out of the blue because he wanted to run an undead campaign.

Ewan MacDuff

I had a question: Seeing as (almost) all of you have DM’d and all of you have played many characters in the past, which character that you’ve portrayed have you enjoyed the most? Thanks for putting on such an amazing show!

BP

When playing your characters, how do you decide when to keep something secret from the party? After the sharing on the boat, are any of your characters keeping secrets? Also, not a question, but just an idea. One thing I'd love to see is one of the DMs recording their preparation, then releasing it a little while later once there would be no spoilers.

ThrillsChills&Pills

Hey quick question, the episodes of Zac's show, I dont see them on my feed or the patreon page. Where else should I look??
