I love eldermourne so so much and one of the most vivid scenes I picture of it is at around 15 minutes when the king shows a slight expression of fear and corbeau says “are you craven?” For the king to say “am I craven? Of course not. But I’m not crazy”. That shit is straight out of a fantasy book for me 🫡

I just want to say how much I loved the Hexbuds and that Lou will be missed! Fantastic arc and fantastic world building. I love how rich the world is now. In my home game I run one shots in my world but different times or locations to help flesh it out for both me and my players and this is such a wonderful way to do that in a podcast form.

As a plant scientists, I just wanted to say that roses do "fruit" but they are non-edible fruits. A lot of flowering plants fruit but the fruit is simply the protective tissue around the seeds. Some fruits like apples and tomatoes are tasty because they want animals to eat them and disperse the seeds. Most plants do not make their fruits tasty, so we do not think of the as fruits in a dietary sense. I am also curious what Terry was after with the pollen of the plant.

I loved this arc. The energy Lou brought for Jabari was innovative, and led to a really fun and different vibe from the rest of the campaign. The multiple arcs in the world create a real positive difference from the band of boobs. Looking forward to Caldwell's return and how the chocho crew will build in the outstanding work of the hex buds. Also wanted to give real props to Jake and Emily. This is your world and the energy Jabari came in with could have created some conflict. But where each character led the story, the other players fell into step and it felt very satisfying, complete and fresh. Outstanding work! Oh and I guess Brian did ok too weaving all the completely left field things the hex bloods threw at him while maintaining pace and a coherent world, only kidding! Sublime work Mr DM!
