I've been loving the eldermorne setting, with the plan for the campaign to only be around 50 eps, is there any chance we'll see another campaign in the setting?

PFeelz

I know Emily is really big into multi-classing and has already done so for Fia, Caldwell and Jake, have you ever considered multi-classing Zirk or Henry? If so, what would you multi-class Into and what?

Jacky

Any critter country updates?

Matt Silich

Jake, can you go more into your decision to play a fighter again in Campaign 2? You’ve played other classes in shorter campaigns obviously, but it’s interesting you chose to go that route again!

Keith Conner

When will we see hot boys ski extravaganza?

Carter

Question for Murph: do you think Eldermourne is going to be shorter or longer than the Bahumia campaign?

Flando Maltrizian

Murph, you said that this will most likely be a shorter season then the first. How close do you think you are to the end of the Third Mate's adventure?

Laney

Of all the characters you've played on naddpod (from bahumia to trinyvale to hbs to eldermourne/hexbuds), which characters do you relate most to? Which do you feel least similar to?

Lee Southwell

What’s your favorite character you’ve built, both mechanically and story-based/personality ?

David P

If you had to make an alternative character to play in the Eldermourne universe, which one would that be? Which are your top 3 favourite nuts? Have you done the "nut or not" test? What about your top 3 favourite herbs?

Fulton

Could we get a one shot with brennen Lee mulligan as the dm?

Carter Register

Are there any plans to have Ally Beardsley on the podcast anytime soon. I would love to see what kind of chaos they would bring to the show and it’d be extra cool since they are the only member of the main Dimension 20 cast who hasn’t made an appearance yet

Alessandra

LIVE SHOWS WHEN. NADDCON WHEN.

Cody W

What has surprised you about playing your character and exploring the world of eldermourne? What has surprised Murph in planning it?

Anonymous

I don't have a question I just wanna say I love you all and I hope life is treating you well.

John H.

How's the video game coming along? Any updates?

Chloe Louise

Does Emily have any plans to put her soundtracks on Spotify? Or is the plan to just keep it Soundcloud at the moment?

Maya B

Should we expect to see anymore guest stars in Eldermourne? Either returning guests or new to naddpod?

Craig Fitzpatrick

When is Ally going to guest on the show to finish the NADDPOD/D20 crossover?

Jeff Merrill

Murph, you have created 2 DnD worlds so far. Where did the ideas of these worlds come from? Was it an amalgamation of fantasy realms from games or was it an everyday thing that triggered creativity?

Andrew E

Question for anybody and everybody: What is your favorite story to tell from any dnd campaign you’ve been a part of?

Grant Kenny

Was the old man shank planned from Hanks original backstory, or did that develop over time leading into the revelation that he broke a fairy curse?

Robert McDaniel

Players: If you had to rebuild your character from Campaign 2 as your favorite DnD class, what class/subclass would you pick? Murph, have you all ever considered creating a Bahumia/Eldermorne campaign setting book?

The Real Kal-El

Fmk Thiala, Mercurio Delurio/Coin/Ca$h, and Balnor

Hunter Gahr

If you could retcon 1 thing, what would that be and how do you think it would affect everything?

Kevin Williams

What helps inspire our great and powerful dms stories?

Matthew Tyler Helm

I've tried very hard to emulate the feel of your podcast in my DnD sessions to no avail. I know Daddy Murph busts his tail on the editing to cut down on the math and what-not, but I still want to run a roleplay heavy campaign with as little pain and suffering in the way of mechanics as possible. What can I do as a DM to try and streamline the crunchy bits to make for less mechanics and more storytelling?

Will the Wraith Dad

for jake, emily, and caldwell: what developments since episode one of eldermourne have suprised you the most? like, did yall imagine your characters moving in this direction? and were there any things that ended up getting left behind that you weren't expecting? for murph, along the same lines but a bit different: what has been the most unexpected development on your end?

Austyn Donoho

Is there a chance we will get a "Chill Boy Fall" or "Cool Boy Winter" campaign with Maverus and the boys?

Micah Edmonds

The Tomb of Horrors Livestream was such a hoot - are there any plans to do more streaming or video content for Naddpod in the future?

chronicsunshine

If each of you could choose a single NPC from any campaign to play as for your next character, who would you choose and why?

Marc Wynn Rauckhorst

When Jake accompanies Jill and Tucker on vacation, does he get his own room or stay on a rollaway in the corner?

John Haefner

Having played so much of Eldermourne now what is your favorite difference between eldermourne and bahumia.

Mark Mcknight

A question about the dice each of you uses: Do you have a "favorite" set of dice that you use constantly, dice you use for specific rolls (like death saves), or do you just roll whatever random dice you grab first?

Witch of the Wandering Thought

Will you guys have to play both your Hex Blood characters, and your 3rd mate characters in the end game if it leads in that direction? Or will Murph just kill the Hex Bloods off screen?

ComradeTaco

If the third mates were in a hot dog eating competition, who would win?

Anonymous
>>66409082

Wow, I've seen you with the time stamps in both critical role and dimension 20. I should have figured that you were a naddpole as well. Thanks for all the work you do!

David

Is it possible for Jake to become a nationalised citizen of NZ and only speak with a kiwi accent? Please?

Dippity_Dip

If you (as people, not your players) lived in Eldermorne, would you follow the Reaper, the Trickster, or just not worship anyone?

Spam Jackal

Who are your top three Final Fantasy Villains?

Freen

When will Jake run a campaign?

Jess

What song is playing as your character enters the wrestling ring?

Dave 3D Art

Is there any chance of Congo Bongo DLC for NARPG? Possibly with Zinkie the Zard as a playable character? I'd pay 800 Microsoft points for that DLC.

Armadon the only

Questions 4 everyone. I would love to know the story of how naddpod was started. Also: if you would start another campaign in any of the current worlds, which would you be more excited about and what would you play

Cameron McEwan

The Eldermourne crew all have to create a cocktail. What are they mixing?

Sir Crits-A-Lott

What's is your guys favorite thing to happen since starting NADDPOD?

Jess

Read any good books recently?

Sylas Welch

Murph, when coming up with the different factions and groups the Third Mates have met/will meet, do you have any specific process you go through to determine what their goals and aspirations as a group are? If so will you discuss it?

Andrew

What is the biggest different between playing remote and in-person? What is the plan going forward with covid and Jake living on the best coast for sessions?

Dave 3D Art
>>66409292

I second this motion. The world needs more Counting Crows covers from Murph.

Daniel McCray

For Jake: Do you believe that Henry is destined to get back together with Izzie now that Ben Affleck is back with Jennifer Lopez?

Mich Blackie

Hey beautiful boobs! I was wondering if there are there any classes or multi-classes you would prefer NOT to play? From lack of interest, or not feeling up to it? Love from Aus ❤️

Ness O.

For the players: What are your theories about the situation with the gods of Eldermourne? It's recently been called into question whether they're present at all.

Vinegar Tom

Have you read the new Ravenloft source book? Would you say Eldermourne is a Domain of Dread and if so, who is the Dark Lord?

Austin Johnson

Emily, what are you reading? Your book suggestions are always really good.

Brandalf The Bae

Do you ever have days where it's hard to get in there and record the episode? If so, where do you draw your motivation from be it internal or external?

Anonymous

How long are you thinking Eldermourn will end up being? Do you have any ideas for next main campain?

Valentina O.

Hey guys :) Id love to pick your brains on what you believe about the deities of the world. Do the Repear and Trickster exist? Do they both endow their followers with magic (or neither)? Who does Maxora serve?

Joseph I

What is a class you've always seen, and wanted to play, but never have for some reason?

DanDrako

Have you guys considered doing a one-shot multiverse episode where characters from Bahumia and Eldermorne are stuck together on an interdimensional mission? Could even get the triplets involved or an injection of hot boys?

Laura Gibbs

I love all the book, TV and music plugs at the end of the episodes, any good new ones?

Allison Smith

You guys have really helped me find joy during the pandemic. I’m, curious if playing and recording remotely has changed your dynamic and how you play at all? If so how?

Gabriel Mauch

I'm assuming Campaign 2 is still looking to be 50 episodes? Is that a hard 50 or just 50-ish?

Maya B

Who is your dream guest on naddpod, living or dead, famous or not?

Jakub Mrożek

Eldermourne sourcebook after the campaign ends - what do you say? How many patrons needed for the stretch goal? Absolutely love the setting, would love to read "the chapters"

Zach Schueler

Have you guys played the Magic the Gathering Dungeons and Dragons set? Does/has anyone played Magic before and if so what are your favorite decks or cards?

Frank Cocuzzi

If you were to cast a Muppet film of the Moonstone Saga, which muppet would each character be played by, and who would be the one human actor at the middle of the chaos?

Hunter Vaught

Question for everyone/murph specifically. When you are talking to your players as a DM and receiving their backstories do you plan then how you are going to include them in the campaign or do you kind of naturally let them develop through out adding new aspects of their backstories depending on how the game/story goes

panpolypuff

Any chance of a one-shot DM'd by Jake? I love how much heart you put into all of your characters, and would be so excited to see that expanded. ❤️

Noodyl
>>66409550

Oooh I'd like to second this! I love Emily's book recommendations

Y C

For each of you: What has been your favourite location/city/town in Bahumia and Eldermourne?

Tyler Adams

You guys have now done 3 1/2 campaigns, and countless live shows. If you had to pick one moment in a story from all of that content, what would be your absolute favorite moment?

Chris King

Are there any plans to have a BoB v 3rd Mates battle after this campaign, a la Critical Role's Vox Machina v Mighty Nien?

Talia

How do you all feel about how your familars are growing? Did everything go as you expected?

Luke Polito

Chances of a universe crossover between the boobs and the mates? Gotta cash in on the crossover money babyyy

King of the City Pigeons

Murph - do you have a vague timeline for how long you except campaign two to go? You had mentioned before going around 50 episodes which I think would put us into late spring of next year at are currently rate.

Laurawr

For Dice God (AKA DM Ryan Nurphey), what moment of a character improv most changed your plans moving forward in a campaign?

David Hamet

If you all would go on an adventure as a group (and as yourself) who would die first?

Terrence Peugh

What would you say is your favorite DnD world to have inhabited through out all of the different campaigns you've been apart of?

Kodi Earnhardt

In what ways do you relate to your characters in Eldermourne differently than from Bahumia? Do you think the connection will be as strong with Fia, Hank, and Zirk after what'll be a significantly shorter campaign? And for Jake in particular, there's something special about a first character, so I'm curious how you might feel differently about a subsequent long term PC.

Laurel

If you could have anyone guest on the pod, who would it be and why?

Emily Aimola

Hey 2Crew! Who has been your favourite NPC that Murph has created? Side question, what NPC does Murph have to work the hardest "to become"? (For example, the bullywug voice sounds like it takes serious effort). You guys are amazing, thanks for all the good feels!

Y C

Are there any more plans to livestream anything similar to tomb of horrors? I thought that marathon livestream was amazing

Hyacinth

Question for Murph: As you design the campaign, how much of the story do you have set in stone from the outset? From a listener perspective it feels pretty seamless, but I assume player decisions are constantly changing the storyline (even in small ways). I'd love to get a peek into your process, you've been a big inspiration for me as a DM!

Harrison Attema

What character is Brennan going to play in Eldermourne?

Nathann Morais

Before eldermourne, you mentioned this idea of having multiple DMs bring the Bahumia heroes to different settings - We've seen a glimpse of that with the amazing Jasper Two-shot, do you plan to bring other DMs in the future?

Spore Zealot

For Murph: Do your players talk to NPCs in combat as much in your home games as they do on NADDPOD? If so, how do you get them to do it? Every time I try taking to them they respond with, "does a seventeen hit?"

Chris King

If there were to be a Nannerfly-Effect-style change in Eldermourne's story so far, what event would you want to play out differently?

Sam Heap

What's your view on PCs playing themselves? As I am currently planning a campaign where my pals (as themselves) are transported back to our childhood village in the middle ages, but they've said they want me to pick their classes for them based on whatever they seem closest to as a person. I don't want them to pick classes entirely unlike the person, but I feel like by being asked to pick classes I have to make some weird character judgements of my friends (what if Niles doesn't want to be a bard?!). Is this a problem of having PCs playing themselves or am I overthinking?

Nathann Morais
>>66409601

I was going to ask something among those lines! We have a lot amazing lore both in Bahumia and eldermourne, it would be great to have a sourcebook or even a UA-esque PDF :)

The Plum Satyr

Mainly for Emily but anybody can answer, what do you think about replaying a pc in a different campaign

Jason Maurer

For all the players: If you could have Murph reverse any decision he's made so far (in either campaign), what would it be?

Lauren Listing

Would your Bahamia and Eldermourne characters be friends?

Evan Cordero

Can we get an update on NARPG? Specific question: will we see any Easter Egg characters from the other campaigns like Keith or Bookvar?

Matthew

Will we ever see the return of the Hexbloods? This whole "Eldermourne" sidequest has been fun, but when do we return to the main story: the Adventures of Jabari the Safari?

Cody & Tiare P. - Pendergreen's Roommates

Any word of advice from an aspiring DM? I love the game so much but my social group are more interested in being crazy players versus being a world builder. Because of this I volunteered to be the DM even though another person in the group has way more experience than me but doesn't want to be the usual DM. Easy to say that I'm very intimidated but thankfully my husband is over the moon excited that I decided to do this. Looking for any advice to make the campaign for my group that likes chaos and that is consistently doing Caldwell flavor moves in a campaign enjoyable.

Joseph Collison

Hello all, we hope your warm by the fire 🔥 💜 ✨ We were wondering if there were any magical items that you want to use in Eldermourn that you have come across but haven't yet? Is there anything out there that you haven't come across that you think you would want to use? Just really really love magical items

Nicolas Lee

What olympic event would each of your PC's do best in?

Brayan Martinez

How have your characters developed compared to what you expected the character to be like when you started the campaign?

Dave 3D Art

Just for funsies, out of all Naddpod PCs which combination of three would make for the most and/or least interesting parties? Let us not be limited by players themselves.

Jade Finch

since this campaign is going to be wrapping up soonish, have you all thought about who will DM the next one? i'd be really interested in seeing Jake run something for everyone, bring Amir in too to kill everyone

A Mo

Which of your characters between Bahumia and Eldermourne would win in a WWE style cage match?

Kyle Conrad

Murph, where do you pull inspiration from while world building and planning sessions? I'd love to hear more about how you do things behind the scenes, as I have been thinking about putting together my first campaign and would love some advice.

James Ekstrom

Is Hank objectively not hot? or is he "medium" for Eldemourne, and everyone in Eldemourne is extremely hot, making him pretty hot by our standards?

M. T. Kadisin

When you picture the events of your campaigns how do you see it? For example, I imagine Caldwell sees everything as an old school style cartoon.

Austin Lacombe

Question for the DMS from any/all of the campaigns.. did you ever have a certain big plot point or story beat planned that you never got to do, because of the story changing? Examples?

Kodi Earnhardt

For Murph, what lessons have you taken from Bahumia and applied to Eldermourne? Maybe I'm forgetting something, but it doesn't seem like you've been whomped this campaign (outside of maybe the fire water elemental), and I'm curious if you've done anything to try to avoid that to keep the stakes feeling high?

Nick Garito

If you had 1 do over, for any of the Naddpod campaigns, what would it be? Would you change an outcome, response, character build, etc?

Eric Nesser

What minor or seemingly innocuous moves have the players made that ended up being huge and either paid off with major dividends or wildly changing the course of events in a game?

Andi M. Kraxberger

When will we get new Merch in the Merch store, referencing epic moments from the campaign? I request, nay, I DEMAND a spoonie-shirt.

Kevin Crist

Hey guys, I've been wondering, what do you think will happen with Bev and Moonshine when Hardwon eventually succumbs to old age?

Mason McCauley

How do y’all go about making characters? All of you create such interesting characters, that are great mechanically and through role playing , and I’d love some insight to that process.

Brendan McClafferty

Short and sweet: who wins in a fight between BoB lvl 20 and the triplets (jens, onyx, nyack) lvl 20? Assuming magical items bonuses are basically even between the parties.

Morgan M

Hello wonderful people! I know talking about money is tacky, but I've always been curious about the business structure behind NADDPOD. Are guests given an honorarium? Is Murph compensated differently for his editing and planning? Is one person more in charge of finances than the others? I would love a peek behind the screen, if you're comfortable sharing! Fuck you, I love you, eat a rat 😘

John Niska

When will Jake finally throw his hat into the DMing game? I’ve personally decided that when he does it, I will too.

Daniel Hynes

Super technical question for Murph. Ive been getting into podcasting but i have terrible internet sometimes and it leads to talking over people. Could you elaborate on what you did to record everyones voices separately during the pandemic and then stretch them so it no longer sounds like the crew talks over each other?

JessMayWin

Question for each of you - if all of the characters you've played on Naddpod (e.g. for Jake: Hardwon, Hank, Tred and Nyack) got teleported into a Battle Royale... who would emerge victorious?

Regan Shere

Question for Jacob: if you were to take on a spellcasting character, what class would you play?

Kamil Borowski (edited)

How do y’all feel about the current state of encounter design in 5e with the MM/DMG and the wonderful additions made by Kobold Press? What do you think of some ideas such as Multi-Initiative, Legendary Resistances taking a set fraction of boss health, and Clash (opposed attack roll) mechanics*? These mostly pull from games like pathfinder and 4e. I love designing for 5e but I use all these crazy systems and stuff to make it more interesting than what I think the MM offers. *Clashes are mostly seen in Arcadum’s World of Verum

Zach Z

This one's for Murph, how much of your worldbuilding is well-planned and how much is improvised based on how the gang interacts with it? I remember in Bahumia Emily's comments on The Crick informed the shape of the realm, but I'm curious as to how much of the world is constructed meticulously versus making up the environment on the spot.

Isa Gamez

Question for everyone but Caldwell more specifically: How do yall go about brainstorming (and drawing) the designs of your characters? Do your ideas change a lot throughout the campaign?

PilsburyFlowBoy

How much does the Naddpod crew talk about the campaigns/characters outside of the recordings and games? I like to reach out to players to ask about their characters and backstories so I can tailor the upcoming stories to them, but often I get anxiety that I'm being annoying and opt not to.

Laura Donohue

One Eldermorn question: What would the Choo Choo Crew do if Irina turned out to be the Reaper or was trying to replace the Reaper? One question for Emily: Do you have any other book recommendations? Priory of the Orange Tree is amazing!

The_Suspicious_Bulge

If you were going to design and live in a food based world, what would it be? What level of society would it be?

Would you consider playing a oneshot or mini campaign with RPG systems that aren’t D&D?

Liza K

What songs define the soundtrack for Eldermourne (Guardians of the Galaxy style)? In addition to Emily's masterpieces of course.

Chelsea

What is your favorite college humor memory?

fabled_sword

Hello great peeps! I wanted to ask how to go about dealing with PCs that constantly want to make major character adjustments they've been playing since the beginning. I usually don't mind minor changes but they keep asking for more and my tolerance for saying no is getting low. I don't want to just give them what they want because that's unfair to the other PCs but I also don't want him to deal with a character that he doesn't enjoy. I understand this is a pretty basic question, but I'm a relatively new DM so any advice is appreciated!

Jesse

Can we get any video game updates? Just got my poster and I'm very hyped!

Chris Yzaguirre

For Caldwell, who was running the popular jenns trynstagram account?

ThatManGareth

What's the craziest thing you each ever did in character. Can be NADDPod related or from other series you played in?

Blake Henderson

Will there be any other side arcs with new characters? Roughly how long will this campaign be? If everything goes smoothly will it follow the three we have now the whole time?

adam

Everyone does such great voices. How do you guys prepare a characters voice/personality? Also I know you guys talked about playing WoW have you tried FFXIV?

Chelsea

Would you consider introducing an $18 tier that includes an extra $8 for an 8-bit book type episode once every couple months?

thiswayjose

What is the first thing you ask yourself about a new character? Do you find your backstories as you play or do you have details from the get-go?

Robert Spoon

Question for everyone: how has your background in comedy affected how you play? Did that make role-playing easier or harder? Thank you guys for everything!!

Parker

What kind of merch would you love to have but challenging to make/sell?

Foolnif

Hi sweeties! is there wrong and right ways to do romance for your players? What should you avoid and how can you make it more interesting for everyone

thepurplehippopotamus

how would each member in the band of boobs get along with their respective member in the third mates? thank

Jacob Buttarazzi
>>66411193

I second this! The transition from CH to D&D (and other podcasts) seems really interesting!

Draco

For Murph, When creating your world and creating successive sessions, do you have a particular way of going about creating and adding to lore as your campaign progresses? What is your thought process?

Galen P

Will there ever be another separate mini-campaign arc with different characters, like the hex blood arc? For example, Murph DMs a quest where Emily, Jake, and Caldwell play ancient blades from days long past, or horrors that oppose the Reaper like Tabatha.

Jim Faris

In Eldermourne, there’s been a lot of people being judged/executed by the scales. Are there any recorded in events in Eldermourne’s history where the Reaper spares someone when the priest steps off the scales?

Gareth Bryceland

Would you ever guest on or have guests from any other popular dnd podcasts (adventure zone, critical role, dungeons and daddies, etc)???? Would love a collab. P.S. When the frickin frick is Beardsley planning on turning up?

sami clements

For everyone, what was it like to go from coworkers to friends who genuinely want to collaborate on your own projects together?

SolemnSeagull

Will the Hex Buds and the 3rd Mates ever meet?

Saru

Any tips for making cool NPC's that make the party want to interact with them but also not too powerful that they overshadow the PC's ?

Kevin Crist

What do you think the Hot Boys were doing during the end of the main campaign? Same question but with Stunkbug since we never heard any more from him.

Aavik Pakrasi

Emily: when do you feel your Witch-iest, most Fia self in real life? You strike me as someone two steps and a shift in our interaction with the universe away from supernatural :)

Jo

hi friends!! newish dm here and i was wondering how many of the non-important npcs are planned out vs improvised. My players seem to love meeting new people, but sometimes i plan out a bunch of characters for a bar per se and then they take their drinks to go!!

JesterTheCleric

How do yall feel about people playing in the worlds yall have created? Signed, Dandelion Cybin the 5th level community cleric (second cousin niece twice removed of Moonshine) and Daffodil the goth possum (grandchild (with possibly many greats- added onto it) of Paw Paw), from Bahumia 100ish years later after the end of ep100

52 AD

Question for DM Murph and players: do you have plot points, character development, etc… you thought would be cool but didn’t fit the main campaign of Eldermourne and decided to transfer to the ‘‘Oups, all monks!’’ side campaign? Also, do you think you might come to Toronto at some point? Talk about critter country, Toronto has been called the racoon capital of the world! Chubby racoons, or even families, crossing the street are a common occurrence.

Jo
>>66411726

i’ve wondered this too! it’s so tempting to create a bahumia esque campaign, but i think i could never do it justice!!

ananarama

How do you guys come up with your characters names? Are they off the top of your head, something that just sounds cool, or inspired by movies/literature/etc?

PineappleLiar

Would you guys ever consider doing something similar to ‘Baggin it with Balnor’ except with the characters from either Eldermourne or even Trinyvale? They were some of my favorite eps, and I’d love to see a ‘My Triplet, My Triplet, and Me’ or a ‘Boating with the Blades’ sometime soon.

NoLifeKitty

Question for Jake: In the near future is there at least a 1 off campaign to be run as a DM? I think a Hurwitz daddy em would be interesting and quite charismatic.

Maxwell

Hey 2 Crew! Sad to hear that Eldermourne is going to be shorter than the 1st campaign, but understandable that level 20 characters can be a hassle with story arcs and the like. What’s next on the docket after the Eldermourne adventure? Hopefully more hot boi summer! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Nieve

How was your day?

Allison Shaw

At one point I think Murph said he thought this campaign would be much shorter, maybe only around 50 episodes. Is that still the plan? Are there ideas percolating for campaign 3?

Orangeleader398

Got a question for Jake! As Murph has stated in a short rest that the campaign doesn’t have a ton of episodes left, will we finally get to hear you DM a mini campaign while Murph works on the next major campaign?

Valentina O.

When will our own exalted bailiff Jake debut as DM????

Mad Dungeon Mama

Would y'all ever publish lore books (like Theros or Ravnica) for Bahumia or Eldermourne so your writing fans can play in your world?!

Daniel L Hodson

Question about the game! I know you cant say much but when i hear that my favorite podcast is making a video game, i get a little pessimistic. Is this gonna be an 8 bit side scroller that ends in like 4 hours of playtime? or are you going for a full AA indie title? I’d like to have a game to really dive in to and after a wait like this i would hope its something special. P.S. Angry Murph needs to make a comeback in the new Jake and Amir videos

Garga Lenoir

You guys are all proficient actors, ever considered dressing up and acting some skits inspired by the funniest moments of the show ("chicken" comes to mind)? It could be a ton of fun and great publicity.

Y C

What are the differences between when you play on the podcast vs when you guys play for fun with friends?

Ming Eng

A question for everyone: If you could pick one NPC from any of the previous campaigns and drop them into Eldermourne, who would you pick and why?

Frank

Question for the whole crew: Do you ever feel limited or intimidated by the love that fans have for campaign one? Does it make it more difficult to create new environments or characters or take risks? I wonder what that journey has been like for each of you

Jonathan Cooke

Are there any TTRPG systems outside of DnD that you've considered running as a one-shot/ Mixed bag? Think you'd enjoy the Edge of the Empire system for Star Wars or (for a narrative focus) the Shadows over Esteren system of play!

David

The people want to know! Are there any plans in the works for our Baliff Jake to serve as DM? Even if you think it wouldn’t work out, an uncut version would be entertaining to hear him figure everything out.

Devodebo

Was the decision for the Duskmother to be wearing a wimple a reaction to how the 2 crew lost their shit about the tavern patron wearing a wimple, or was it in DM Daddy's plan all along?

Matthew Rossi

If any of you had to play as an NPC in Eldermourne, who would you pick?

Matthew Sharpe

If there was one decision throughout the Bahumia campaign that you could change....what would it be and how do you think it would have effected the story?

Julia V

Have any of you played other tabletop RPGs? If so, what did you play and what did you think? If not, are there any systems you are interested in checking out?

Katie P.

Piggybacking on a previous question re: TTRPGs, what other systems have you played and enjoyed? Also, if you are familiar with Cthulhu, how would you translate the 3rd Mates and Band of Boobs into Cthulhu investigators? (I.e their old timey occupations and main skills)

Vince Mascoli

I love Eldermourne and I really loved the way the side arc with Lou played out to expand the world. I would love to see another side arc before the end game of the main campaign as well. It feels like there’s so much more to this world and it’d be fun to see more and live in it a bit longer before moving to the next campaign. Honestly I’d love to see another main campaign in Eldermourne as well.

Bob

Does Murph do BJJ? I hear him use BJJ jargon all the time and have always been curious if he trains.

Shaun McChesney

What would you do if you woke up in one of the other cast members bodies in real life?

Debra Wasson

Q: if y’all could have any Hollywood celebrity guess dm who would you chose :0

Ryan Budde

How much did zoom change the show for y'all? As a listener I can't really tell the difference from pre-, mid-, and post-pandemic episodes

Xavier

Will we ever get the ski trip arc of DM-ily’s campaign?

Dijonmustard

Hey question for Murph, as a fellow dm I gotta ask what’s your creative/writing process? Personally I find myself imagining situations or plot points then after a lot of “daydreaming” I can put the pen to paper and hash out details, thank you guys so much and keep up the great work!

Hobbad

You all have been writers / improv performers / comedians of some shape or form for awhile now. Do you find the podcast scratches that same itch or is it an entirely different beast?

Stephen Beggs

Are there any plans for any more guest stars on eldermourne??

Omvega

Hey guys! Love the show. My question is: have you ever based a character or NPC on a real life person (more than just a nod or one character trait) and if so, who was your favorite/ what made you want to see them in your fantasy world?

faizaan723

Q: do you have any plans for other guest players to appear during the Eldermourne campaign like Lou did during the Hexblood arc?

Paul Westmore

What would a Nannerfly Effect episode look like in other campaigns? Trinyvale, Hot Boy Summer, Eldermourne/ Hexbloods?

Matt M

Question/suggestion: can we expect to see some guest character appearances in the current campaign? P. S. I would be very happy with a guest appearance of Jabari the Safari.

Travis

I was wondering, with Eldermourne ending entering the final stages, is there already a plan in place for a 3rd campaign? And will we be returning to the 3rd Mates like we have with the 2 crew? Thanks!

Donevon Pankey

How close are you and all thd college humor peeps. Seems like a really close relationship, does it extend off camera?

Dave 3D Art

What are your opinions on THAC0?

Alex Cooper

Question for Murph mostly, how do you think you're going to work the hexbuds back in? It feels like the third mates and them would have to meet at some point if they're both gonna fight Moxora(?), but would it be weird for Jake and Emily to play two characters at once? Would you get guests on to play one of they're characters? Thank you all and keep up the great work!!

Chelsea L (0ffbeatt)

Was Philip also made by Arina the same way that Bookvar was? I've always been curious how he came about in Fia's life.

Andy C

Hey guys, love the pod. My question is do you have any plans on rekindling Hot Boy Summer again? Like a Halloween special where they get dropped in Eldermourn, I loved the characters and their dynamic.

Aaron Black

For everyone - Across all campaigns, who is your favorite NPC and why is it Pendergreens?

LaserOstriches

Have all of you ever considered doing a non-canonical Battle Royale match between the Band of Boobs and the Triplets? I would die to hear all the sass being thrown back and forth.

GREYFOX!!!!!

Is it hard for you as people to leave the characters at the table or do you find that the headspace you occupied bleed into your normal lives?

Will Brannon

Will there be any more side arcs in Eldermourne? Or will we ever see the Hexbloods again?

Anonymous
>>66409830

I would love a Peek Behind the Screen episode (or two... or three...) where Murph talks about his DMing process! He's such an amazing storyteller and actor, and when you combine these skills with his in-depth knowledge of D&D mechanics and rules, you get one of the best DMs in the business. I'd love to hear more from Daddy Murphy!

Will Brannon

If you had to change your characters class but needed to keep the same vibe what class would you change to? Third mates or BoB

Alan Hickman

Just wondered if Murph or anyone else has ever considered or been interested in doing a one shot or mini adventure using another tabletop system? Maybe if jake wanted to DM a one-shot for a mix bag he could try Sexy battle wizards or a similar system that is very light on rules and focuses on narrative and improv shenanigans.

Gudni Lindal

More of a technical question, but how do you manage to record so smoothly over Zoom? You seem to never have that classic Zoom moment when two people talk over each other and effectively cancel each other's voices out, leading to a hesitant "Please, after you", "No, you go first" thing. We deal with that on Roll20 all the time and it kills the natural flow of a back and forth. Share your secrets, please! Thanks!

Holly

Can you all sing a round of Ill Luck Henry for us?

DMCDawg

It all started with a chance meeting in a tavern, but NADDPOD has grown into multi-campaign chart topping podcast, an upcoming video game, and more. Where do you see the brand going next, and do you have any exciting ideas for the future?

Cara McKinley

If the eldermorne crew existed in the bahumia campaign, do you think they'd all keep their current classes?

Owen Rath

Which of your characters from Bahumia do you think would transition easiest to Eldermourne (or vice versa) and how do you think it would change the way you play that character?

Chahista

If you could have your own Spoonie, what utensil would you want?

Nicole

I know Jasper mentioned that he was already a fan, but did you give him certain episodes to listen to before hosting the two-shot to brush up on Bahumia lore? If so, which ones?

Brad Brown

I really enjoy how the gameplay decisions made are representative of how the characters actually feel/believe, not how the people playing them feel/believe. That being said, what's the most "why the hell did you do that?" moment you guys have had?

Scott

Hi guys, I’ve loved Eldermourne from episode zero. I really think it’s got a different tone and mood to most of the Bahumia series (possibly with the exception of Shadowfell), which is a brave and original move given how easy it would have been to revisit Bahumia. Going back to the ideas in Eldermourne episode zero, and taking into account how awesome the Hexbuds were/are, is it likely we will see different characters in different parts of Eldermourne again any time soon?

Andrew Yeager

What past character did you feel you were able to play the best? Either in how you played in combat or social interactions or both.

Anthony

Question for Murph- Who would win in a 1v1 battle: Thiala or Moxora?

Baron Swan

Emily. Cool Boy Winter? Missing the boys Bon Frères behavior.

2026-09-17 02:00 A question for the DMs: What does session prep look like for you, mechanically? I'm a new DM and am finding it hard to keep myself organized at the table, as well as keeping all the behind-the-scenes content organized in planning. I know Murph uses D&D Beyond now, but I'm wondering about what other systems folks have used. Thanks!

Question for Murph - I’m starting to create my first campaign and it’s going to be super high fantasy / anime type of world and i was wondering if you have any tips on how to either not get overwhelmed with world building or what are some rules to follow when building a high fantasy world? Also I love you guys thank you for inspiring me to become a dm!

Morose Psych

Heyyo, if you had to choose a character you've played before to babysit Suzie, who would it be? P.s. thanks for curing my lockdown caused insanity

Vonvonvon

Does playing DnD affect your normal life? If so how?

Jonah

Hey guys would you guys ever do a crossover with a different dnd group doing a one shot where you have to fight each other and then help each other. I love you guys been a listener since 8 bit book club.

A Bug in a Hug

For those who write, how do you overcome writer's block? How do you get into the head of characters who are incredibly different from you or smarter than you in some way?

Matthew Chauvin

Hey y'all 👋 question is for Caldwell but there's an episode of 8-bit book club where you do an impression of a dwarf and I thought it sounded amazing. Do you ever think you'll play a dwarf in any future campaigns?

Sean Marshall Jr.

Have y'all talked more seriously about possible character death in Eldermourne, as opposed to Bahumia? Resurrection isn't really a thing, and we've had a few close calls already but the mates always end up pulling through

Logan Klein

My question is for Jake, what class that you haven’t played yet intrigues you the most, and what would you like to play the most?

Andrew W

Hello everyone! Question for Murph and Emily - I am a new DM that is starting my first campaign where my wife is a PC. She’s an artist that is helping me with character and map designs to add a little extra flavor for our sessions. My questions is, How do you work on a campaign alongside someone you live with without sharing too many details about the story or characters. Thank you for the help!

Antonio Gonzales

Question for lovely daddy murph. What is your take on the current state of wrestling? Have you jumped ship to AEW, with their partnership with other promotions and return of CM Punk and possibly Bryan Danielson joining the fold?

Sedona

A question for everyone: what would be your characters' last meal if they were on death row?

Santiago Mareque

Question for Murph: you've stated before that you've estimated that Eldermourne was going to last 50 ish episodes. Is that estimation still exact or did it change due to unforseen story changes? Loooove the show!

Rion

Question for Emily. When you are thinking of character creation, how do you decide what type of accent to use? Like, what made you decide "southern" for elves or "eastern european" for Fia?

Melissa Knutson

Question for all the DMs (sorry Jake): I've always been curious about the voice effects (often dragon voices for instance have that "in a big cave" effect). Do you have something set up so that the party can hear them in real time or do you add them after the episode is recorded?

Andrew D.

Here's a quick question. I just relistened to the Mavrus Chronicles and was thinking about the inspiration coming from the Matrix. Are there any other movies or properties that you'd consider incorporating?

Andres Rodriguez

Question for all: when a DM ties your PCs backstory into the campaign, what makes it the most memorable? Is it adding tragedy, closure to something left ambiguous, adding in something brand new, etc?

Martin Paluoja
>>66418532

This is a super good question! I know you can kinda keep stuff to yourself and hide what books you use, but I want to share stuff with my SO all the time! :D

Mason McCauley

Out of all the player characters in NADDPOD (the BoB, 3rd Mates, Hexbloods, Triplets, etc.), who would make the best adventuring party? Also, which mixed party wouldn't even make it out of the first tavern?

Noah James Perito

Question for the whole 2 crew - If your characters from each campaign (Bahumia, Trinyvale, and Eldermourne) had to fight each other (assuming they were all the same level) who do you think would win and why?

Charlie Sainsbury

Jake is the only one not to DM on the pod so far. If he were ever to run a session or an arc what kind of setting or genre would it be?

Jaxon Letendre

Who can we expect to see guest star in Eldermourne. Any returning voices, or maybe some new to NADDPOD?

Little one

For all. Do you have anything that you’ve done with any character that you really regret doing? Player wise and character wise. EG.A place they didn’t get to go, an NPC you chose not to trust, a move that got your whole party TPK?

Victoria Shotts

Would you ever consider letting Murph roll your death saves? Apparently it allows for more immersion because you wouldn't know if someone was about to die. Also Murph, would you ever give inspiration?

Victoria Shotts

Also, I'd love to know more about Fia's mother!

Miranda G

Basic question, but: how old is Fia? Is a girlchild a teen or a young adult??

kody lanca

I have a question for everyone. How can I make likeable NPC’s? Or are my players just a pain in the ass? I’m a new DM and whenever I introduce a new NPC my players instantly hate them or don’t trust them. I created Granny sue the baker to help them gain information about disappearances around the town. They decided that she was trying to set them up and attacked her. Now I’ve got a party on the run from the local authorities.

Ezekiel J Dean

I'm very curious if you will return to the Mavrus Chronicles for a ski trip. I love all your content but each of those boys and Emily DMing for y'all holds a special place in my heart.

Calla, Kisser of Lizards

Is Ally Beardsley ever going to guest on the pod? I think they're the only main cast d20 alum to not have featured yet, and I'd be SO stoked to see their chaos energy added to the mix!

Winged Thief

For everyone: is there a subclass or multiclass you've been dying to play but you haven't been able to yet?

I'm new to DMing and looking for practical tips and tools for managing the data especially in combat. I haven't found something that doesn't make me feel like 2 parts accountant 1 part story teller. I'd like it to be the other way round.

Nicolas P.

If Eldermourne had a Nanerfly-Effect tour now, what would be some of the moments that would be tackled? And generally what would those consequences be?

thedragonllama

Dear Two Crew, I was wondering, after playing and DMing so much now, if any of you ever get a little burned out on DND or have weeks when you need an extra push to get into it? I’ve never gotten sick of playing, but it also was never a job for me, and I have had times when I didn’t feel like DMing. Part 2 if you were to do another podcast all together what would it be about? Playing another game or something entirely new? Thx eat a rat I love you.

Julie Westra

If you had to date a cryptid - such as mothman, loch Ness monster, jersey devil, etc. - which would you pick and why? Note: the relationship must last at least 2 months.

Tree

All: How do you determine when someone is "overacting" when it comes to their character? Sometimes in home DnD sessions a PC goes a bit too far with their character tropes, what sort of reigns do you use to prevent that for NADDPODD? I suspect it's because you're all pros ;)

Kara

Hi cuties! I just DMed my first one shot with friends. I’ve actually never played dnd proper before or DMed (I’ve just played Apocalypse World), but my friends had zero exposure or understanding of dnd so I was like fuck it, let’s try this DMing thing (they won’t know when I fuck up). Wow there was a lot of reading, y’all make it look so easy! Any who, they ended up having a great time and want to play again. I am super not ready to do my own campaign, but do you have any recommendations for fun and easy premade one shots? Thanks so much! Ps. Would love to see you in Toronto when you guys are comfortable touring again ❤️

AbolithSpawn

For Murph: on a short rest you talked about the "smoke and mirrors" of being a DM, could you describe what you meant by that?

Nicolas R

For Murph/Caldwell/Emily/those of you who have dm'ed for the show/not Jake: do you ever develope a boss/manager mentality in regards to your costars in the context of making the show?

Tavitafish

Dear cool dudes and Jake, have y'all ever thought about playing another ttrpg instead of DND for the show? Something like call of Cthulhu or shadowrun? Love y'all so much

Bryan Grover

Hello everybody! What's a roll you'd humbly ask the Time Devil to intervene in from Campaign 2 (so far) that you'd like to reroll?

LM Larson

A fellow DM (dungeon mother) here with a question for players: do y'all prefer to have short, but exciting campaigns or longer, more epic campaigns? and does it seem possible for shorter ones to be lore-packed?

Graham

If Caldwell had the chance what type of monk would he play as a hexblood?

2026-09-17 02:00 DM here who just started the Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign setting with a couple veteran players and a new player who is playing a bard. The new bard player doesn't really know how to play (has no idea about bardic inspiration) and it's frustrating some of my other players. I don't want to come off as condescending but what is the best way to teach him some other things he can do as his class without ruining is first d&d experience?

2026-09-17 02:00 Since Campaign 2 is planned to go shorter than Campaign 1 it means that we're likely past the halfway point for campaign 2(I know things CAN change, but whatever.) Have any of the players contemplated side arcs to give papa Murph another break after it finishes? Specifically Jake, since we're ALL waiting to see you make your final step from Regulars Dude to D&D guy and run even a one shot. Thank you all for the goofs and Good D&D.

A question for the group! In a "What if?" mcuniverse (n-a-d-dcu) what characters would you want to have swap places or show up in a different campaign?

Beav

How is the videogame development coming?!! Any significant updates?

Cler Henley

is "erinna" based off of sapphos lover? and also would that mean that she and fia will have a romance????

kallyn

How do I get my fellow players to love DND as much as I do? My older brother is DMing a long term campaign for myself, my boyfriend, our friend, and my 15 year old cousin. While he is 10 years younger than us other players, my cousin is very funny and excited to play and be goofy which I love. However, he can also be a bit scattered and has trouble truly playing to his character. I can tell my friend is annoyed with him but frankly I'm annoyed with my friend because he is barely playing at all and at least my cousin is going for it! It's all of our first time playing DND so we're all still trying to figure it out and get comfortable role playing. Is this normal to have different playing styles clash early on in campaigns? Should I just be patient? Should I address either of them? How do I excited the friend and push his boundaries? How do I reign in my cousin who at his best is the Caldwell of the group but is stepping in other's toes?

Andrew

Will jake ever DM a one shot? We know he’s run at least one game for his nephews so what’s your excuse if the answer is no Mr. Hurwitz? 🤨

Kevin Tan

Will the hexbloods be back before this campaign end? Will caldwell have his own hexblood?

Zaq Williams

Have you guys ever considered making you're own class?

Sarah

Can Emily please tell us her Love Island thoughts for this year's season?

ZZYZZXX

Would balnor have had the same backstory if moonshine or hardwon had pulled him. Or would he have become a totally new character

Connor Free

I think having guest stars on the podcast is one of the greatest facets of the show. Do you normally ask your friends to join or do they volunteer? And are there any potential future guest teasers you can give?

Amelia

Does Murph use a voice modifier during play? Like the way the Cindersworn have a robotic like sound. Or is this all done in post?

Adah Kinzer

(Very late in posting this; hopefully someone will see it and it’ll plant a seed for something) Would y’all ever consider doing a Call of Cthulhu one shot?

jayden f

DM Q; this relates mostly to modules, but what do you do if your players go to the “wrong” part of your campaign? How do i stop my low level players from going straight to an over-tuned encounter too early, without railroading or TPKing them?

Carina

This is a more off topic question for all, but what do y’all do for fun? What hobbies do you have?

bj cox

Everyone Q; Would you consider doing another hot boy summer short campaign maybe with Lou and Zac as guests?

evan deas

Hi Two Crew, Can we expect any further installments to The Mavrus Chronicles? Camping trips, tropical cruise or snowboarding trips?

Laura Goodman

Any plans to have Ally Beardsley guest on the pod? 😊 it would be awesome to round out the whole d20 crew

G.X. Barnett

Q for everyone: what is the perfect number of players for a party and who would your dream party members (actual people) be if you didn’t count your prime NADDPOD crew?

Jeff T

Murph, it's been awesome hearing you grow as a DM and I've learned a ton from you as well as Caldwell and Emily. After all if those time playing together what wisdom would you all share about how to keep your game fun and engaging throughout a long term campaign. P.S. Jake, I can't wait for your debut as a DM.

Isabel S.

Will we see another one shot or campaign from Emily in a new world? Side bar: I love Hot Boy Summer with all my heart, but it would be so cool to see what kind of world Emily comes up with.

Jack H

For everyone, who is your favorite celebrity you’ve worked with? Crazy to see you all in a video with Lin Manuel Miranda

nandrusin

Which characters has been your favorite to play and why?

Kaiden Ciongoli

Hey very late question, but is Emily ever going to drop another album? Doomsday Diaries got me through it, not a fun dnd question, but loved to hear either way. Thank you Honorable Hearthside Question Collector.

Ninjakeyblder

If you could summon a familiar irl what would it be?

Kal and her cats Portland, Star, and Berlin

oops. i am late on submitting a question but i hope you guys see it how important is it for you all to create and integrate diverse characters in your world and how do you suggest making your game more inclusive?

Aaron Beguelin

What class would you all be in real life and why?

rafamalafa

I have a question about charges on skills and items. What are your opinions on being able to spend more than one charge on your turn? For example, the staff of withering has 3 charges that can unleash an extra 2d10 necrotic dmg upon hitting. Is it okay to allow spending all 3 charges to add 6d10 dmg, letting the player deal hefty dmg at the cost of no longer having any more charges until sunrise?

Mick

What are the 2 crews top 3 fave mechanic that Daddy Murph has used throughout naddpod?

Tim

A question about monks for Jake and Emily: did either of you consider picking the Way of Four Elements Monk subclass? I just finished playing a campaign where I got to play a level 20 Way of Four Elements monk and it was awesome! Getting to cast fireball and fly as a monk is pretty awesome. And, between NADDPOD and Dimension 20, there’s been almost every monk subclass represented (Shadow, Drunken Master, Ascendent Dragon, Kensei, Long Death, Mercy and possibly Open Hand), but no love for Four Elements. Why do you think that is?

Alex D

I started listening to the Two Crew about six months before becoming a dad so some of the most touching and memorable moments have been between the PCs and their parental figures. So, my question for the team, and specifically Caldwell is, if you had to pick an NPC or community from any of the campaigns to send your child to daycare with, who would it be and why?
