This ep is bursting with friends being in the same room hours into a hang sesh levels of joyful nonsense and horniness. I applaude murph’s attempts to make scary characters in the face of that horniness, though I think you succeed at the end!! Felt like there were a ton of 2 crew shoutouts on this one- maybe it’s Caldwell’s curse, or maybe it’s just that y’all were rolling a ton. Lovin the fae vibes and looking forward to the next episode from when y’all were in person!

So if the reaper left, then why do the blades think their founding purpose is to protect Serenesis from the reaper? The blades must have been formed after the reaper religion began creeping back in. But then how did they connect Serenesis to the reaper? Did Moxora have some covert work on founding the blades or something to mislead them?

I lowkey expected Murph to pull a switcheroo and have Isiah actually be the lord scythe in disguise and they fought and killed their friend, only to watch the real lord scythe rise and stab them in the back. especially after saying Isiah “got a bit of energy back” when lord scythe died.

I’m curious about that too, especially since it seems that the blades are here to protect Serenesis from her own sister. did a previous incarnation of Serenesis start them or is there someone else who has a stake in this fight? Specifically I’m wondering, since Serenesis is the daughter of spring and her sister the daughter of winter, are the reaper and trickster meant to represent autumn and summer, respectively, or are there children of those seasons too? So many questions…

I’m so sad this campaign will be over soonish. i really love the third mates and their style of quest, eldermourne is such a cool setting and i love Fia so much! I really hope you’ll find ways to do future one-shots in eldermourne or even set a second campaign there! I would love to see a sea-faring campaign with eldritch horrors in eldermourne or something like that. it just has such a great spooky vibe!

From what we'd know so far..... The Blades don't know that the Reaper is gone. Zelbuldar disappearing was 10k+ years ago. Walder/Kenley talk about being Blades about 1k years ago. Kenley only talks about communicating with the fairies, never the Trickster. They don't have the full picture. - Murph

they've had a few of those errors this episode that happen when you just forget a little of the rules, the kind any table would make. Same thing with sanctuary, once lord scythe failed the save against it he shouldn't have been able to switch to a fireball. Completely understandable errors to keep the flow going though.
