To Julia: How comparable is a room full of snakes to the world-renowned character: Room Full of Vampires?

Brent

May or may not have squealed like a fan girl when I saw it myself

Brent

It's really hard to listen to this without imagining the crew drawing these cases out as they talk about them. Release the DM Court episode on Drawfee!

Chris

Molly Oxenfree

This is like 99% of everything I’ve ever wanted!

Peter Mundell

1. I absolutely lost my mind seeing that Julia was on this 2. re: cat mounts! Mage Hand Press has a bestiary called Fantastical Felines! Filled with lots of kitty monsters of all sizes and challenge ratings, I'm sure there's likely a great opportunity to find a good kitty mount in there :)

Mason Shucart

Is no one going to talk about how pressing a key into soap would literally do nothing? What's the key going to be made out of? If you MADE a key out of soap that would make sense.

Liam Harvey

Dungeon court has rapidly become one of my favourite segments/mini shows.

Avery

SO EXCITED TO LISTEN WTF WE GOT SOME REAL SPECIAL GUESTS :O

Axel Ottel

Ah, Julia, the DM's judge and Nathan, the Munchkin's judge.

FiendishNoodles

She'd make a perfect character for eldermourne

Joe D’Antonio

The line “this is just one more for your fucking stack Hurwitz” will echo in my mind until the end of time

thedragonllama

I heard Murph in my head shouting for order in this kangaroo court SO many times 😂 This is absolute full-Drawfee energy and I love it. Now I’m hoping for future Drawfee crossovers! 🤞🙃🤞

mandie lee

so excited to see julia and nathan!!! i pray for the day jacob makes an appearance 🙏🏼

Jake’s jerk jelly #CCC

2 things. 1st Jake killed the host seat in this. Good on ya chap. 2nd what I wouldn’t give to hear Murphs reaction to ack ack

Ursa

i haven't even finished the episode yet but i have STRONG feelings about the soap key lol, i work as a custodian and carry a huge ring of keys on me all day and while both checks would be difficult, it would be significantly harder for someone to take a single key off of the ring than for someone to take an impression of one of them. i think that dm doesn't understand how difficult it would be for someone to take a key

Kyle Corbett

Fuck yes love me some drawtectives!!!

Janaga

I really hope emily read the council of elders without listening to the episode

Nicholas Badtke

I will being this to the rest of the parties attention!!

Nina Eklund

Finally! More Drawfee crew on Naddpod!

Nina Eklund

Would love to see this as a Mixed Bag!

Anthony Ferguson

Which doesn't actually work anyway. It wasn't described enough in the submitted case, but that entire Railgun concept requires the DM to completely ignore the rules of 5e in favor of "realism". If we do allow this "realism", the Railgun also requires the DM to ignore the momentum build up as it's being passed down the line, and only apply it as it leaves the hands of the last peasant in line. Eventually, the peasants are passing something to each other that is effectively a speeding bullet. Super realistic..The whole thing is flawed and doesn't work. Those "Breaking D&D" videos where a lot of this garbage comes from, are a plague.

Katy Tacik

My dad used to play the bagpipes, and before they give you the real thing, they start you on a chanter, which is basically the pipe without the bag. Let me tell you, it's hard to play, and the sound is BAD.

Rory Leschinsky

I absolutely adore how close-knit Naddpod, Drawfee, and Dimension 20 are. It's like the most incredible venn diagram of my favorite content!

Miss Ter Cole

There's never too much Julia in the world. I hope this is a precursor to her (and Jacob 🤞) being actual campaign guests. I just want Rah'oxah to live again.

Stephanie Clark

Omg I was bristling about the bird bard! I have a kenku bard who plays bagpipes and he would never be such an asshole lol

Winged Thief

THE HAPPY DANCE I JUST DID SEEING THIS IS JULIA AND NATHAN AAAAAAAA

Nick Spivey

Nathan mentions in the ep that there are spells, like conjure earth, where you could use the shape of the imprint to create a key

Saru

My fav thing was Jake and Caldwell singing We are we are alone, ajdjfbbds

Seasquidley

When I tell you I GASPED when I saw Julia's name.

Cal

Yayyyyy Julia and Nathan yeehaw yatta

Michael Singer

Caldwell I love how your energy shifts from when you are around the drawfee crew you are so polite and eloquent but when around the chew chew crew you’re an everything licking little goblin lmao

Brendan R Colquitt

If you raise dex lower strength. Maybe give it Finesse which I believe allows it to choose strength it dex for to hit

Chris Teague

The soap thing is used for getting the shape of a key. You then file down a separate piece of metal to match the impression. My dad and grandfather picked a safe using a key blank. They would use a lighter to blacken the key, turn it in the lock, and see where the tumblers hit, file down and repeat.

BuffVenom

OmiGOSH as soon as I saw this title I was like, I need to finish this work and listen to this ASAP with my undivided attention- lucky I had to go walk to a post office for parcel pick-up before they closed and my team leader was fine with me finishing my work lil later afterwards - BEST soap-y, duck-y walk to the PO ever 😝 Only discovered Naddpod through DrawFee, oh Salty Queen Justice Julia, loving Drawtectives season 2 🙇

Rory

Loved this ep

Caitrin

Thank you for the advice on improving/customizing my housecat steed stats! Nerfing a big cat with housecat quirks is perfect! Much appreciated, and can’t wait to here the Axford/Murphy addendum! 🥰😻

Jess Little

There's a basic item in Pathfinder 2e that is a wax box for making key replicas.

Jess Little

Crown of ducks, lol. Love it. There's a Pathfinder 2e item called Bag if Weasels, that is technically cursed, but once you learn how to use it...

Jamjam

“they’re just like us!”

Pork Chop

One of my characters killed a pitch with a bar of soap.

Winged Thief

now that I've listened to this, I LOVE how much this just became a drawfee episode at points

Winged Thief

oh my gosh YES the chaos of the NADDPOD crew playing YAIASP

Lauren Schwarz

I just have to reiterate how incredible the DunDun opening theme song is. I want a ring tone 🤣🤣

Logenthar

I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR MORE DRAWFEE MEMBERS ON NADDPOD

Patrick Harry

Dearest Justices and the most excellent Bailiff, bringer of cases most high, I would like to submit further evidence for Tommy G’s DM vs Player: the soap key case. If we are to utilize precedent and evidence set forth by the official documents of WOTC, then I present to the court Exhibit B - the wild beyond the witchlight. I submit that there is precedent documented within the sourcebook that the player was well within their right to take an impression of the key utilizing a bar of soap. I refer to the NPC Naal documented in Chapter 3, pg 118 of official D&D material, the text states the following (spoilers for the book ahead): “Naal recently stole the kitchen key from Pincushion and took an impression of it using a bar of soap before fastening the key back onto Pincushion’s belt.” It states the NPC Nall plans to create a copy of the key, but does not explain how. With the evidence at hand, it shows that within D&D lore there is precedent for this ability of key creation through the use of a bar of soap.

Tommy G.

Hey just to be clear, I’m not against being able to get an impression of a key in soap, it was the fact that the player wanted to do all of this in a few seconds behind a guard

Patrick Harry

Ahhh that makes sense, I should’ve gone back to relisten, I had just read through that chapter the day after hearing your case and found it to be funny on the timing! Also reviewing, doing the impression while it is attached to the guard still is a wonky idea, that DC should be extremely high if allowed at all!

Peter S.

I did not know drawfee before listening to this. I could not spell it, and it took me a good 10-15minutes of cross-googling stuff to find it. I really liked the humor and general attitude of Nathan and Julia, and I wanted to check out more of their work. I am glad I did, the Drawfee content is top-notch, full of really fun and talented folks. Thanks NADDPOD for inviting them!

nonya bizness

It was actually Caldwell plugging Naddpod when he DMed for Drawfee during Drawga that made me check out Naddpod in the first place! I missed Caldwell so much on Drawfee I had to go see the other thing he was doing and I'm so glad I did! For sure have more Drawfee guests, I love the chaotic energy every time ❤️❤️❤️

Ken

same! now both naddpod and drawfee have a special place in my heart

Dylan Miller

Julia talking about the idea of can you please interact normally with the world and not just be crazy people I had a tree spirit who was the guardian of the forest and she was supposed to be a big help for supplies in the future involving anything with plants within reason since she can still choose not to give something like not giving nightshade Willy nilly But instantly upon meeting her they proceeded to just curse her out and then had to apologize but she wasn’t having it so they figure it’s get it now or spend the next 20-30 minutes doing checks that would require a nat 20 if I allow them to fast travel to an area they have never been to get the plant components for the potion they were making (told them it would be beyond hard) so they apologize and the tree spirit gave them what they asked for after they threatened her, but as the spirit of the forest she has some powerful friends they don’t know of yet incase they try to go back and threaten her again they will be in for a very intense battle
