I'm going back through all of these and holy crap this went off the rails, I love it

Apple Slapple

Put that DM in a concert hall and make him do stand up for like 45 minutes to hundreds of people but they're all silent.

StarsPaw-Pawn

I just started listening to D&D Courts and have been going oldest to most recent. I tried to listen to these Aabria eps while eating dinner— turns out that was a bad call, as I have done not one, not two, but THREE full spit takes. Time to get the mop.

DOOFINIUS

I need the crew to do a whole parody chair spotify of nightchair before Christmas lol or four shot full music and singing and everything, and i insist aabria and lou join as well because only they could bring the necessary energy for this and Caldwell is the dm because only Caldwell could be zany enough to step into that chair unless aabria wishes to claim it

DarthTurkey28

I was brushing my teeth when Murph was singing What’s This. I almost spit all over my mirror.

Eos

Okay, but a Sound Reaper stealing music from the land is a pretty bloody solid idea....

Sami Kerwin

this ep was so fucking funny, Aabria and the tiny chair really brought the chaos

Spades Pendragon

The energy in this episode is fucking fantastic

i am a smapphire

"This is why precedent matters" "BUT SO DO WOMYYYNNN" 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Julia Thompson

This is so belated but as a current pharmacist who in a past life was in the church choir and had solos, I choose to believe Emily thought she was hot because she was a pharmacist… pharmacists are hot…. Some of them are actually super hot lmao (not saying me but one of my preceptors was super hot)

Blake Vandiver

Emily's "do you mean a fraternity?" made my family check on me I loudly laughed so hard lmao

Blake Vandiver

This energy is AMAZING!! I desperately need more content featuring Emily and Aabria, someone PLEASE tell Brennan and Sam Reich that they need to build their scheduling AROUND the opportunity to get this kind of gold lol

Blake Vandiver

Fun third comment: I loved hearing Aabria clearly in real time introduce the term "sex pest" to everyone but Caldwell who clearly was not new to the term lol

Kurgaah

A Metro setting would be awesome. For those that don’t know it’s a world set in post nuclear war Russia where a majority of the surviving population lives in the Metro tunnels to avoid the radiation on the surface. In the case of the “simulation” I think it was just a controlled fight, because there is no major computer technology in the world so it would prolly be like zombies in a small room and the one player couldn’t handle being swarmed which would be realistic in the world. It’s odd that it was a session zero but I get the idea that it was a training session to see if they could cut it for the surface which would be where session 1 takes place I assume.

Noah

Kingdom Death!!!

Kristen with-a-K

I have to stop listening to these at work. It's hard to hide laughing in a quiet office.

Ryan Scott

Oh my 😂. This was the silliest episode and leaning so heavily towards the player! The chaos of this court session was gold!

WunDarWun

I humbly accept the ruling, I now will figure out how to self-inflict light waterboarding

Addison E Hunter

“The bitchketeers” made me choke on my lunch laughing

2026-09-05 07:00 It’s also just fully untrue that there weren’t music venues in medieval cities. Stages were used for entertainment of all kinds, this DM is not only obstinate, but incorrect

Pacing and Muttering

"They didn't 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵 eating pussy yet" God I love Aabria so much

James Brannan

thanks for reading and trying my case, Supreme Crit. I'm glad it resurfaced some memories of crud day for Caldwell.

Brendan Watroba

My new head canon is that the actual SCOTUS just has one lil chair and all the justices have to play rock paper scissors to choose who has to sit on it

j-worms

me at some point during the upcoming week: *humming absentmindedly* this little chair of miiiine

Eli Tornøe

The energy of this court was so wild loved it

Caitrin

This is, imho, the best dungeon court yet! More Aabria pls!! 👏

Evan Cordero

Shout out to Em with the puns. I died when she said Guitorah.

Angel Quintana

albert snipps sounds like how I rp'd my quest giver (a goblin named Klein), who definitely had a very annoying high strung voice. my party killed him very quickly 🥲

David

First

Jesse Amdahl

"and thus I must ABSTAIN!" is now an all time favorite line for me

Jasmine Young

More Aabria, please!!! She's amazing and I love the dynamic!

Ilana Galpert

Disappointed we didn't get to hear the story of the hot pharmacist

atlasrising

The energy for this ep was unhinged and I loved every second of it!!! Aabria's fury at that one DM was so valid and righteous, love that lady!!!!

keysi ellle

Awesome D&D court session. does this mean Aabria will be a guest PC?

Jasmine Young

"What's this, what's this, it's for my derriere" was another potential lyric I thought of

James

I’ve full cried at these two dnd courts multiple times, I think these might just be the best episodes of dnd court

Maia Costea

I cast Summon Butter DESTROYED ME

Ilana Galpert

Also the crab DM built an entire quest for their players which they had to scrap!

Renevar

I truly don't know of a time period most people would be playing that didn't have SOME kind of place for music or plays, like that's been a thing for thousands of years basically everywhere

Kyle Veach

I may be one of the few that isn't a huge fan of Aabria's DMing style, but good god she is brilliantly hilarious. Such a good couple episodes here, would love to see her as a guest in Campaign 3!

Mae B

Aabria just added to the unhinged energy and I hope she comes back again it was fantastic. One of my favorites.

Frank

I entreat you dear dice christ that Aabria may return to naddpod—this was brilliant

Trevor Brown

Metro guys reporting in! If your going by game universe if you die in the game you die in real life. By the books well there aren’t simulators so go wild.

Trevor Brown

Skip the cloth and have something to drop for a stop signal. At least that’s what my boys and I did

Marissa Bickford

This was a good ass time! Hope Aabria can bring the vibe again soon!

Thomas Donovan

I'd like to thank the court for trying my crab case, the Collosal Cold Crab with the exact same accent just became the BBEG, and I'll make sure they're properly equipped for it with the equipment they'll get from the dragon.

jaydee meowr

One of my favourite episodes so far 🤩

Aaron Thomas

Oh man, Kingdom Death!!! It totally is how it's explained

Allie Fawcett

Loved having Aabria as a guest judge!

J Bush

This episode was actual comedy platinum! This is the 1st dungeon court since catching up with the entire podcast for the past few months, and my Gods, what a painfully hilarious sode!! Idk if it was Aabria's energy, all the church talk, the Danny Elfman bit, but wow, this spoke to me on so many levels. I love you guys for this 😻😻😻🤗🤗🤗

Ben Beckwith

OMFG loved the energy Justice Iyengar brought. Loved these epps, love you guys. Awesome!

Lauren Listing

I went to a ✨christian summer camp✨ as a kid and one of the activities was literally called crud wars... massive muddy pit, decommissioned fire truck was spraying the water cannon over the scene, and four rounds: water balloons, handfuls of dry flour, shaving cream, and -i shit you not- wet, expired horse feed cabins split into two teams and attacked

Shane C

This was so unhinged and I loved it so much I listened to it twice in a row

Shane C

Also please let Aabria be a permanent justice

Andrew W

I have heard of a thing called a Danger Room encounter for session zeroes. It's a fight that isn't cannon, you don't have to roleplay your character, and any consequences won't happen afterwards (for example a pc death). It's mainly so pcs can try their character out in battle and the dm can get a feel for how many enemies they can throw at the pcs to make adequately difficult encounters. It's named after the Danger Room in X-Men and I can't wait to try it out for my next champain!

Chris Ingham

Murphs "why" floored me, I listened to it back three times

jackalope503

Jake Hurwitz, champion of womyn #ImWithHurwitz

Heck

Fully unhinged behavior

Beth

This was the best and most hilariously chaotic episode.

Micah Edmonds

This is the wildest y'all have been in a minute and I'm here for it

Magestain

I literally spewed beer at "they haven't invented eating pussy yet"

Sarah Sullivan

All I’m saying is Aabria HAS to come on the main show that’s all we want

Karl Rasmussen

Totally stealing the Sound Reaper...

Meletios

Absolutely LOVED the energy this one brought 🥰

Driftwood747

Snap bracelets in the store when?

Sonja Maitland

Can't wait for your next best selling album "tiny chair"

Lorelei and Kyra Newly Weds

Unfortunately I have to drop my membership for a couple weeks due to financial issues, but Murph thank you for the "what's this song" it made my shitty year just that much better. I love you guys and can't wait to see what I missed when I get back.

Eddie V

This might truly be the funniest dungeon court you've done yet! Aabria was an absolute treat, I really hope you get her back soon!

Michael Singer

Email 6 patrons a month for jury duty and if they ignore you actually call 911 on them

Bull

I remember Emily mentioning before in the past about people accidentally mis-pronouncing her last name Axelrod, I think its bc Eddie Murphy played a character in his prime named Axelrod. The movie trilogy Beverly Hills cop. Or I could be way off base lol

Alex Ferruzzi

Did you guys call it a “rollsary”? If so, that was genius

Declane Gilhooley

My party just killed that white dragon, they needed them items that crab had lol

Tyler Sharp

This episode is so chaotic 😂

Kevin Wixom

Hey everyone, session 0 dead guy here to clarify a couple things for your sakes since the judges brought up questions. It started as building characters, but after an hour or so the DM was like, "ive got a couple hours. Want to start?" with the group, so we all just kept going. He called the battle a "simulation" as it took place in our characters' HQ in a training arena, but the zombies were quite real, as I learned. Mishka, my fire loving fighter, did get to go out in a blaze of glory by being allowed to ignite his gas tank after hitting 0 HP, so I was able to at least damage a lot of zombies, but the DM was also clear after that he was DEAD. My new character may use his organs, but there's no memories left of Mishka's sad life or death. The DM definitely was clear from the start at how violent this campaign would be. I just figured that a fighter with burning hands masked as a flamethrower for flavor, molotov cocktails, a shotgun and 22AC would fare a bit better against simple undead, and having him gone forever after 1 round felt tragic.

Audri Svay

This is quite possibly the best short rest yet. Tying everything together was absolutely priceless.

Andrew Corliss

Word of warning do not listen to this podcast while weightlifting. I was in tears thanks to Abría and ended up dropping 40kg during a chest press because I could not control laughing. It was the best. Note I am ok, not seriously injured either

Yodysseus IV

I love hearing the guests really getting into the bits, so fun 😂

Will Smith

Definitely my favorite short rest/D&D court.

John Butler

Insane energy with this one. Aabria is great, hope you have her back

shrimpy_senpai

Wow. So I have fun literally every single D&D court and love all the guests but OMG AABRIA?! she had been my absolute favorite guest by far and that bar was HIGH. Bring this justice back soon if scheduling allows!!!♡♡♡ She was a magnificent fit to this crew😄

Garga Lenoir

Plot twist : The GM that refuse concert halls was in the right, the player just failed to mention they were playing on a hybrid setting Forgotten Realms/Footloose!

Leah S.

Omg, is Aabria going to be the dragon elf that spared them?

Kaity

This has to be one of my favourite d&d courts of all time! 😂 the most perfect chaos, I hope Aabria returns as a guest!

Mitch Crabtree

Am I the only one who couldn’t understand much?

Mitch Crabtree

There’s a ton of cross talk, which i listen to avoid…

Schmooples

the water boarding party should only be fighting Tortles from now on. They can hold their breath for an hour😆

farmerjoe_y

"they didn't invent eating pussy yet" aabria i'm fucking deceased

Kyle David Perry

This energy…is a new level. PLEASE have Aabria on as a guest for the campaign if she is so inclined!

Matthew Elias

Hearing someone talk about Kingdom Death makes me so happy

Summer Tribe

you are, sorry for you, this is probably one of the funniest court episodes they've done

kara mac

Would love to have Aabria as a guest pc

Johnny_Johnster

I was crying laughing while listening to this

sawnnyM

Aabria was wonderful! Would love to have more of her. Time to watch her d20 seasons.

2026-09-05 07:00 Fun fact: I am a burlesque dancer who is actually performing a birdlesque act in a jungle themed show at the end of the month. We are three birds who eventually pull “birdseeds” from our underwear and end up eating them at the end of the act. Do with this information as you please. ♥️

As always, pure joy emanates from you all and Aabria literally made me choke on my coffee. Each guest, whether on the campaign or here, adds so much. The love you have for each other is radiant and truly the high point in my week. I can truly say that NADDPOD, Dimension 20, and Critical Role has deepened my bond with my 19 yr old son. I am the luckiest dad in the world and have two amazing kids, each with their own special gifts and talents. DND, especially podcasts that present it like theater in the mind have been my anchor since 2016 and to be able to share in that love with my son has been awesome. I lost my dad when I was 23. For us, it was Monty Python: that uniquely adult humor we could unite us when he had to tolerate me being a puke college student. I didn’t recognize at the time that having that bit of joy to share together would sustain me after his loss. As a father, I never take time with my kids for granted and I again cannot fully express how much you all mean to me. Sorry for the long post, and I’m sure your too busy to read them all, but just posting it feels like I’ve been able to say this to you all in person.

mistym

I have truly never laughed so hard, as a former youth group kid, these jokes tickled me so much. Love you guys

Julie V Eckert

Aabria as a guest PC or DM with you guys would be amaaaaaziing 🤩😍

Julie V Eckert

“They haven’t invented eating pussy yet” 😭😭😂😂 I’m so glad you kept in Aabrias raaage at that one DM I laughed so much these episodes

Pokeylope

"What's this? What's this?! A tiny little chair." Made me burst out laughing at work. Thanks.

Johan Gidlöf

One of my favorite eps! Couldn’t stop smiling and laughing at the gym! God the freaking crab

Summer Tribe

if you're humming it then it's not really This Little Chair of Mine is it since it's indistinct from the original

Danny B.

Such a great wedding present to get a shout out for Our DM at the end there!

Bradley T

I really really really hope Aabria’s inclusion here signals her as a guest on an upcoming episode(s)! We need more of her!! :)

Jack Jones

Absolutely lost it at Murph when he went off on the little chair song

Paxton

Caldwell is very bad at pronouncing things gets called out on it and somehow wins the argument… legend

Joshua Heyes

Yeah they did talk over each other a lot, I had to focus to get the funnies…

Godot

For some reason the bonus cases disappeared from my podcast app

Paul Perkovich

Where can I ask, "how come none of the players have played as characters of a different gender than the player's? (Or have they?) Thanks and love you!

Billie Ash

Justice for the bailiff! He correctly said Icespire Peak!!

Sebastian Lecha

Judges are going soft. Bring back the cruel and unusual punishments. People must pay for their misdeeds

Deeleenee

The parts that had me keeled over laughing was the like 4 times Murph jumped into “this little chair of mine” too hard and sang “IM GONNA LET -sIT IN IT”

Jessica Petra

This was the most I've laughed while listening to this show ever. Can we PLEASE get a buddy adventure with Albert Snips and the Sex Pest?

Nick Johnson

The energy in this after show is fucking amazing that danny elfman bit fucking killed me

Jess Wagoner

Motion to have Aabria as a permanent or semi permanent sitting judge plz. The energy in these dungeon court episodes was incredible

Ciara Connor

Can't wait to hear your Shrek at the Edinburgh show <3

Squishy, Pawpaw's Brushtail Possum lover

In my youthgroup we did a slip n slide. We put several tarps on a hill, weighed them down with tires, covered it in dish liquid and held a few hoses on it. It was the best day of youthgroup. I also only went to youthgroup to hang spend time with a friend.

Squishy, Pawpaw's Brushtail Possum lover

The bush reference was interesting for me. Untill I was like 11 I thought Obama had been president for my whole life and would continue to be president for like 50 years (I'm not american).

Alex Wicks

I don’t think I’ve ever laughed this hard at a D&D court. WHATS THIS? WHATS THIS? A tiny little chair!

Lady Land Puma

Love hearing about the hot pharmacist from Emily’s childhood. My name is Christine and hearing her say my name was biblical 🤣

faith noel

I keep thinking about this little chair of mine and laughing to myself. Unhinged behavior, truly wonderful episode.
