Will the tank return? It’s been a year

Hammy

Bring back the tank!

Kelsey McNeil

I am just as into the idea of the monster book subclass as Caldwell but I would argue that it would make a great blood hunter subclass.

CommodoreBlue

I know this is an old Tank, but the wand that banishes enemies until they all come back could be fixed if you just make it a wand of counter spell instead

Aedan

Or even ranger or druid, though ranger might feel too similar to beast master

Fido

Silly spaghetti... Serious flavor.

Compound27

"That has been used once to some success" is hysterical lol I will never tire of Emily's laugh so infectious

Lucas

Salt water shower for the bathtub brisket

SoupLightning

Random idea, id love a mixed bag one shot with some of these ideas added as a fun trial run

Chazaqiel

Caldwell is right, a "blue mage" wizard subclass would be awesome.

Kelley

"Silly Spaghetti, Serious Flavor" made my day so thank you, Caldwell!

Renegade

Caldwell crying laughing omg i love yall

Fran Lee

Loved that Caldwell just created the Malconvoker from 3.5e!

HolyFatFish

The only thing worse than waking up to tortle tank is a second dose of tortle tank

Krowlove82

Why do you not like it? No judgement, I'm just curious. Tortle tank is so funny to me and I love them so I don't understand the dislike

Thimo The Fool

The Sudden cut at the end just killed me xD

Connor M.

The wand at the beginning of the short rest should be limited by hp. Like it only poofs enemies with a max HP of 50 or less, or something like that

mennis

the absolute chaos at the end 👩🏻‍🍳💋

Sam Taz

My mom used to make me rainbow pasta as a kid- you do have to do it in separate pots

Alex Messbarger

How did they not relate spell eater to naruto and the Sharingan great idea

H-Train

was kinda peeved that the tortles’ “workshopping” of the thread of fate ended up reworking it and making it a conceptually different item, meanwhile the item that was there was actually cool (albeit ***potentially*** uncomfortable)

Joe Clave

Wand - Arcana check: 20+CR; Nat 1 bamfs in all previously poofed monsters (players will have flee as the monsters take 1 round come out of stupor).

AmberDextrous!

I'm thrilled y'all liked my idea! But now I'm imagining a plate of elemental effect spaghetti... we can serve that, right??

Ilana Galpert

emily kind of pitched the summon greater demon spell lol

Ilana Galpert

and by "kind of" i mean she created 90% of the spell

Evin Miller

Hey, I'm the guy with the temptation/set your own DC portion. Just wanted to say I really liked the tweaks/discussion on it! Glad it was talked about, and I think you guys hit the nail on the head for all of the talking points

ZZYZZXX

The spell eater concept is just Kakashi sensei as the copy ninja I’m surprised they didn’t call it out

David Silva

Just wanted to thank you guys for all the content that you put out, especially this episode. I recently lost my home thanks to Hurricane Ian (RIP all my D&D books) and this provoked some much needed laughter. Looking forward to the seeing the show in Atlanta!

Link Longshot

I love someone just straight up wanting to add a pokeball to the game lmao.

The Wizard Skoolie

Short rests for tortle tank episodes should be called "shortle tank"

Stephen Lander

If I were a DM using the chromatic plating I think it would be fun to present it as a gift/service from some eccentric wizard but advertise it as just a color change. Imagine the chaos when the weapon suddenly explodes into a giant fireball on the next crit!

Jack Burns

Don't believe it was said, but the wand seems better as a storytelling device used by the big bad before the campaign, and when it triggers it releases the party as strangers to each other, but with a pre-set united cause against the big bad.

A Tiny Living Room

The wand idea is similar to Crook of Rao, if anyone is interested in a bit more balanced idea.

Summer Tribe

so many people have done it, people keep making pokemon HB for DnD and not looking up the existing pokemon HB idk why
