Grover gives alphabet hugs and is a literal super hero. Also, the book, "The Monster at the end of This Book" is magnificent (seriously, give it a read - it's very cute, silly, and funny). The fact that my maiden name is Grover may or may not influence my strong, positive feelings towards the Muppet.

So yes Jake is absolutely the human among Muppets, Caldwell is Fozzie, and Murph does make a great Bunson. However Emily is less Beaker (she's not a meeper) & more the Swedish Chef, always doing dangerous and out there things that wind up working way better than anyone else expects! We cast folks as Muppets every episode on my podcast (Nerds At Church) for the past year or so, so I have some practice at this!

The Dag Swaniels joke is 10x funnier for me as an Australian, because here "dag" is friendly slang for someone that is essentially the opposite of swag. Like an unfashionable, uncool person is "a bit of a dag", or "daggy". So there's a whole extra layer to this joke for me
