There is this sweet precedent for Sol x Alexandrite where they connected via The Network, and Alexandrite saw what Sol was and they have those commonalities. So not this episode, but episode 44, Murph you said that the members of Mothership West would likely be Alexandrites by now. Wouldn't this include Swag? Cause he was working for them for a long while, and if Hardwon takes him to the Astral plane then there's gonna be an Alexandrite up there in space.I'm excited to see if this comes into play. As always though an amazing episode and short rest and I'm so happy with how it's turning out so far. Y'all hit it out of the park every time.

I'd say it's because Emily usually builds some power-build multi-class characters and bends the rules. Caldwell was given the cloak, which wasn't of his own doing, and made him stand out in a class that can underperform. Caldwell has done well using the insane movement monks get.

Super rat theory is very funny but it brings up one of my favorite evolution facts, which is that survival of the fittest rarely means survival of the strongest. Humans have escaped the food chain entirely by virtue of our capacity for collaboration. The fact that there are so many rats is because they have adapted to parasitize our infrastructure. Communal behavior is almost always a better indicator of survivability of a species than the strengths of any one individual or even group of individuals in a genetic line.

My guess is that they actually didn't stop playing when they ended EP 45 and just kept going to EP 46 (to me the ending seemed a little abrupt). I could imagine that the two (or more) back to back episode recordings can muddle together in your brain. Then later (days?) they record the short rest and they don't want to risk spoiling EP 46 so they kind of shy away maybe?

Almost def a batched episode and then short rested much later. But also I think everytime they have a dramatic episode they end up using the short rest to literally chill out and comedown off the adrenaline.
